Do you feel the leaked information from a global warming alarmist organization is meaningful?

Put yourself in Barack Obama's sensible shoes. In less than a month, you'll be president of the United States and, upon entering the Oval Office, one of the biggest messes in history will be yours to sort out. So let's make a list and see exactly what the new president will be facing.

On the plus side, the media is still firmly on Obama's side and will continue to blame George W. Bush for everything until at least 2011. The media, in general, has a lot invested in the new president and will spin most events his way. That gives President Obama some public relations room. He'll have a few months before any pressure from the media comes directly at him. Heck, if the liberal press didn't scream about the conservative preacher Rick Warren praying at the inauguration, you know the fix is in.

Also, Congress is now dominated by pro-Obama Democrats, and it will do pretty much what the new president wants, so that will make Obama's life a lot easier.

On the downside, Congress simply does not know what it is doing. The financial crisis caught our lawmakers by surprise, and the continuing chaos clearly demonstrates that these people have no idea how to deal with the recession. So Americans are just going to have to tough it out and pray the president and Congress don't make things even worse.

On the terrorism front, some Americans, including this one, are worried for a number of reasons, beginning with Obama selecting Eric Holder to be attorney general. This almost defies belief. In addition to lobbying for the pardon of uber tax cheat Marc Rich, Holder was part of the Janet Reno gang that made it impossible for the feds to investigate terror-related activities inside the USA. You'll remember that then Attorney General Reno, with her assistant Holder's guidance, actually ordered the FBI not to share information with the CIA. Thus, the 9/11 hijackers were free to roam this country until doing their deadly deeds.

Now, Holder may be running the show at Justice, and unless he has had a complete Epiphany (apologies to you secular-progressives), his selection is chilling. The fact that President-elect Obama has had so much trouble finding a new CIA chief speaks to Holder's situation. CIA veterans well understand that an anti-agency attorney general could cause them great harm.

Overseas, the military is calling the shots, and Obama will not take on Gen. David Petraeus, the genius behind the Iraq turnaround. So, here, the fight against terror will continue to be waged aggressively. However, the prison at Guantanamo Bay will be shut down, and coerced interrogation will not be allowed on Obama's watch. So the terrorists gain an advantage.

Barack Obama is a brilliant man. He knows his success hinges on getting us out of the recession and preventing another terror attack at home. He also understands that he has to do both of these things if he wants a second term.

And a Happy New Year to you, Mr. President-elect.

To Gestell (Reply # 300)
Gestell,

All I need to know is you are from Massachusetts! What a joke of a state.....oh yeah, what I meant to say is "socialist" state. Mass was the birth of our country and will be the death of our country.

Do you really keep up with O'Reilly? He slobbered over Bo-bama all last year. Of course NOTHING will be wrong with the new Bo-bama team. The media doesn't report news anymore. They only report biased information. Gestell....YOU should be very scared. Oh yeah, I forgot....you are from Massachusetts. You WANT the government to take care of you so you don't have to do ANYTHING.

I'm just back from a 2 day mini-vacation on the FL West coast, and just had a chance to read your continuing dialogue. I wish i'd have been more part of it. At least i helped get it started. Its amazing how tempting it is to state the positions one wishes to have understood, rather than start with areas of agreement. Who could quarrel with RBM's description of a real man. I hope we can pursue these areas in the future. If i get a chance i'll pick up on a newer thread.

Bill O'Reilly,Blowhard Extraordinaire
Bill O.is for Bill O. Whatever gives him ratings he will do. His is the highest rated cable news show going and he will do whatever he can to keep it that way.

I don't think he is really conservative in some areas, anyway. Others,he is. I think he is enamored of Obama and tries to court him so he may get another interview with him someday. All for his ratings.

I was once a great fan but I notice he is so afraid of not being the 'Star Of The Show'every minute,he will not let a guest finish a sentence. Bill must talk over the guest so as to drown out the gist of the conversation.

Dennis Miller is one who Bill will not let finish a sentence and Dennis is so smart,I want to hear him,not Bill.

Hopeful in North Carolina
Dear Mr. O’Realy;
I’m not a liberal, but I agree Obama is no fool. He knows he has to make some changes and make them fast. After all he’s got corruption shadowing him. Ultimately the press will blame Bush for a lot of things but they want blame Bush if we have a terrorist attack in the US. If anything Bush has controlled that. However the economy does pose a problem for Obama. Hopefully someone will step up to the plate and fix it, but who will that person be? I think right now would be a good time for someone to start reading their history books and look up “The Great Depression”.

In the tank!
Mr. OReilly, I have watched you for over a year now since the run for our new world representative began. I wondered why you never stood up for us, the true conservatives of the US. You are totally "bamboozled" by "Bo-bama" (as we refer to him in our household).

I have always thought of you as a VERY intelligent man. I LOVE your vocabulary. However, how can you say that Bo-bama is a "very intelligent man?!" First of all, he is from Chicago for goodness sake! Even I know that politicians from Chicago are ALL corrupt (as we are now witnessing with the Blogo situation). Why anyone would vote for someone from Chicago, I don't understand. Secondly, every other word Bo-bama says is "...uhh..." unless he is reading from a teleprompter. Mr. O'Reilly, that man can't hold a candle to the likes of you! Thirdly, who REALLY paid for his campaign? i suspect it was the same people who gave money to Clinton's library.

How can you defend him and forget about the rest of us? I feel like the media has forgotten that nearly 50 percent of us didn't vote for him! Why aren't we recognized anymore? I think everyone just thinks we will go away. I am not going to stand back and watch our country fall apart. I DON'T WANT TO BE A SOCIALISTIC COUNTRY! If I wanted that, I would move.

Please Mr. O'Reilly, please remember us and quit being like the rest of the media..in the tank for the likes of him.

Obama, One big mistake!
To all the idiotic liberals, democrats most of them belong impeached and well as for Obama
he is not even a legal US citizen, he would not even produce a valid document and well most of
our idiotic media is you guessed it been buttering his butt, because well they are most
democrat liberal junkies. as for the cabinet he has chosen most of them are recycled Clinitonits, some change, and as for Eric Holder goes to show you where Obama's head is!
We had for substance in Mr. McCain than Obama has in his little finger. As for Rick Warren I am a Christian and well I hope Warren does not put his blinders on and ignore what Mr. Obama really stands for. We can pray for Obama to see the light but he is not a Christian and I see nothing but disonesty and wickedness in his face. I have a down syndrome son and well he kinda reminds me of Hitler He basically said he has no use for people with dissabilities
Mr Obama, I will keep my Guns, My freedom
and my Money, you may keep your change!
A warning for you from and Conservative American Christian, We don't need no socialist Government, and we dont need more Government
we need less spending as we have a high enough
deficit we don't need more! Your idea of spend now, worry later does not make any political since regarding our taxes, Don't even think
about taking from those who work hard for every penny they get and giving it to those who want to do nothing but sit on there but and let the Government take care of them! America wake up
look who you chose as your President! soon you will be thinking twice as this was a big mistake!

Hope for failure
The proper position for consrvatives to take on the beginning of Obama's presidency is to hope (and pray) for the failure of all of his policies. Moreover, conservatives should be working actively and passionately to undermine, discredit, and embarass Obama in all possible ways. Conservative political operatives should be digging deeply and energetically for any signs of scandal. Surely Obama flirted with that intern back there in Chicago...or said something nasty to his wife...or really beats his kids...or even if you can't find real evidence for stuff like this, make it up. You guys are talented at such fabrications. And you have no moral qualms about any of these tactics. The goal is to drive Obama from office, period. After all, most of you believe he is not a legitimate president in the first place. Besides, some big fraction of you suppose him to be an Islamist, a Marxist, the anti-Christ, a pro-terrorist, anti-patriotic, traitor (after all, he's a known liberal, and you just know that liberals are all of these things, and then some, right?) So, no happy new year please, Mr. O'Reilly. Instead, you get together with Rush and few other guys and see if you can come up with a Two Minutes Hate to put on YouTube. Maybe you can get that clown who made "Barack the Magic Negro" to handle production for you.

Typical voter blocks of democrats
As Saul Alinsky instructed in Rules for Radical, dedicated to Lucifer, democrats require a nation of angry, weak-minded selfish people:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saul_Alinsky

"Dostoevski said that taking a new step is what people fear most…They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future…"

In Rules for Radicals Saul Alinsky observed that getting political control of the middle class is the objective for radicals. democrats and Obama will continuously throw money at a problem they have created to keep the middle class wounded. In this strategy the fingerprints of the Alinsky-ized democrat party are all over the Community Reinvestment Act weapon causing our current economic troubles.

democrat polices create social, political and economic troubles that plague the middle class. Then, they exploit the misery index created by the problems they have created.

The question becomes if democrats are and have been the majority political party in the US and have allowed all of these economic problems to exist under their control, why empower democrats with political power so democrats can use their power to create more problems they will use as rationales for giving them more power? Saul Alinsky taught democrats that they need chaos to ferment strife among the middle class. Saul Alinsky democrats will never be the source of sound and healthy government because democrats feed on strife among the masses to exploit for the purpose of gaining political power over the masses.

Look at any location democrats have been the historical poilitical party in power. Their democrat party constituents always divide into two groups, wealthy rich white liberals and uneducated poor blacks living in democrat urban plantations.

Homosexuals Calling Obama a bigot

Even though 70% of Homosexuals voted for Barrack Obama - even though Time Magazine declared him 'Man of the Year'.

Time Magazine Declares Obama a Bigot

"...Obama has proved himself repeatedly to be a very tolerant, very rational-sounding sort of bigot.

He is far too careful and measured a man to say anything about body parts fitting together or marriage being reserved for the nonpedophilic, but all the same, he opposes equality for gay people when it comes to the basic recognition of their relationships..."

I second that. He has lost no luster in their eyes. Even though he has reneged on his every promise, they would still say 'You da Man'!!

If the MSM voted today

If the MSM voted today 99% would vote Barack Obama is the greatest President in US History.

Breaking Rules & Promises
It is clear to see the Obamaites were just crazy about him,not his promises. It wasn't 'CHANGE',they desired, just 'The Man'.

He has broken every promise he ever made and the CHANGE he promised is 'back to the future'. If they wanted the Clintons, they could have had them without saddling us with Obama. They got them anyway.

As for rules,he has broken them all his adult life and gotten away with it,SO FAR.We'll see what the future holds for him, when he doesn't do the Clinton's bidding, they will turn on him. Great anticipation,I say!

Newsbusters? Gimmie a break. You might as well site an article from Newsmax. I thought Repubs were supposed to be against frivolous lawsuits?

"On June 2, 2005, U.S. District Judge J. Curtis Joyner granted the motion for sanctions, finding that the fraud claim was "was inadequately pled, not grounded in fact, time-barred, and utterly irrelevant to the pending malpractice action against him." Observing that an attorney's signature on a complaint constitutes, among other things, a certification that the signer has conducted a reasonable inquiry into the grounds for the claim asserted, the court further found that "even the most limited investigation would have revealed that [Berg] had no standing to raise such a claim." The court also found that Berg's claim was motivated by a "desire to harass" and "delay litigation." The court fined Berg $10,000 and ordered him to attend six hours of ethics training.[5][6]

[edit] Lawsuit concerning Barack Obama
Main article: Barack Obama citizenship conspiracy theories#Berg v. Obama
Berg filed a complaint in federal district court on August 21, 2008, against Democratic Party presidential nominee Senator Barack Obama, the Democratic National Committee and the Federal Election Commission, alleging that Obama was born actually in Mombasa, Kenya and that the "Certification of Live Birth" on Obama's website is a forgery. The court dismissed the complaint as "frivolous and not worthy of discussion."[7][8] The judge also found that the harm Berg alleged did "not constitute an injury in fact" and that Berg's arguments to the contrary "ventured into the unreasonable."[7][8] Berg subsequently made an application to the United States Supreme Court seeking an injunction to suspend the election. This was denied on November 3, 2008.[9]"

I have offered these questions you make several times on these threads. This inquisition has never been on the up and up.

I believe Fitz stopped it before it reached the top and he would have to deal with 'The Man'.No one is innocent in this, least of all Fitz.

People sing his praises. How praisworthy was it to charge an old man for having a faulty memory about his stories, when he knew all the time Armitage was the leaker?

Kudos for your post. It is so easy to fool some people, especially the left.

I think I am right on this one. There is another suit from a guy named Berg, but it will be thrown out as well. The birth certificate has been shown and photographed:

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/the-trail/2008/12/08/supre me_court_declines_to_hear.html

And Ron, the ACORN registration problems were reported to the government BY ACORN as required by law. None of those registrants were allowed to vote.

I would be more worried about this:
BREAKING: Federal Judge Compels GOP 'IT Guru' Mike Connell To Give Deposition in Ohio '04 Election Case
Contentious Hearing Today Results in Order For Republican 'High-Tech Forrest Gump' to Testify Under Oath on Monday
Appearance to Answer Questions on 2004 Election Scheduled Just 24 Hours Prior to Election 2006...

The Republican IT guru, recently described as a "high tech Forrest Gump" for his proclivity to be "at the scene" of so many troubling elections since 2000, and even at the heart of the "lost" White House email scandal, has been ordered by a federal judge to appear for an under-oath deposition next Monday in Ohio.

The BRAD BLOG has learned that Mike Connell, the Republican IT guru whose company, SmarTech Inc. created Ohio's 2004 election results computer network appeared in federal court today, as compelled, and has been ordered to appear for his deposition on Monday, November 3, just 24 hours before Election Day 2008.

Connell died last week in a mysterious plane crash

CHarles you're wrong...It's back in SCOTUS

Laurie...Of course we care

but it's in the hands of SCOTUS and it's going to be discussed however going on and on here at TH is senseless and counter productive

BELIEVE ME if the case rules he's not a citizen and new light is shed ...Most here will attack and defend the Constitution with our very lives if need be.

If you want to stew on it, you'll just give yourself an ulcer, It's in the hands of the system we believe in and have to trust it till there's a ruling.

Laure
That suit was thrown out of court:
In a 34-page memorandum and opinion, the judge said Berg’s allegations of harm were “too vague and too attenuated” to confer standing on him or any other voters.

Surrick ruled that Berg’s attempts to use certain laws to gain standing to pursue his claim that Obama was not a natural-born citizen were “frivolous and not worthy of discussion.”

The judge also said the harm Berg alleged did “not constitute an injury in fact” and Berg’s arguments to the contrary “ventured into the unreasonable.”

In other words, it was literally LAUGHED our of court.

Keep trying sore loosers

Is there no one in this forum who
knows or cares that BHO is not yet been willing to even prove he is an American citizen? The SCOTUS will rule on Jan. 9 whether we have a Constitutional government anymore, and all anyone here talks about is minutia. Meanwhile this pathetic excuse for a patriot blithely carries on with his brainless babbling and fails utterly to say anything.

Geek
Despite all of the things you listed, America still chose Obama over McCain. One could say the same things about the GOP scandals: Abrahamoff, Cunningham, Foley, Delay, Noe, Hagee, Liddy and the list goes on and on.
Now we see that Palin was "Pallin around with drug dealers"

The simple fact is that despite all of the distractions advanced by you the people on Fox "News", a black man won the office fair and square. What does that say about the GOP?

@ Edna Eagle

I think your last sentence hit the nail on the head. This is what Obama was talking about when he mentioned a national conversation on race. It must take place on a one-on-one basis in order for people from different backgrounds to see the humanity in each other.

It has been fun having this discussion with you but I gotta go now. You have earned a spot on my list of people NOT to scroll past.

What is Racism?
Racism is based on the idea that humans are NOT individual creatures, but are collective groups where morals, character and values are inherited through genetics or body chemistry.

That the individual does NOT have freedom of choice or self-determinism but are pre-disposed to choose and act based on their ancestry.

Racists always think of 'Individuals' as part of some 'Collectivist Group', be it ethnic origin, skin color, religion or nationality. That an 'Individuals' intellectual and characterological traits are produced and transmitted by his internal body chemistry.

Racists believe that 'Individuals' should be judged by their ancestors past experiences, actions and judgments and NOT by the 'Individuals' own character, actions and judgments.

Racism is the lowest form of 'Collectivism and denies that man is different from animals in two distinct areas - reason and free will choice - his mind and morality.

Racists look at their own identity as something derived from ancestry, as if past accomplishments or lack thereof somehow predestines them to greatness or failure. There is no doubt that physical characteristics are transmitted by inheritance, but not choices, decisions or actions.

Racism today in America, seems defined as any white skin color against only African-American ethnic origin, which is patently false. The assumption is that all whites had ancestors who owned only African slaves and therefore all whites are guilty by ancestry. This racist view is a specious argument at best and absurdly false at worst.

Racists always justify and rationalize their racism by characterizing the 'Sins of the Fathers' as proof positive that a particular 'Individual' is a racist, proven by the individual decision and action such as NOT voting for Barack Obama.

Racism is NEVER justified even by African-Americans and Barack Obama.

If Consistency were a Virtue
Barack Obama would be the most virtuous man ever elected President of the United States.

Barack Obama has 'Consistently' shown bad judgment in his choices of friends, alliances and associates.

Rod Blagojevich - whom Obama campaigned for and endorsed - is just one of the many 'Nefarious' characters which Barack Obama has aligned himself.

Tony Rezko - convicted felon - and Obama had several buisness dealings.

Obama started his political career in the home of Bill Ayers - unrepentant terrorist.

Ali Abunimah head of a radical Palestanian group received contributions from Obama.

Barack Obama chose his Mentor and spiritual adviser, Jeremiah 'God Damn America' Wright.

The list seems endless - read about more of them on my blog.

http://hisfacts.blogtownhall.com/2008/10/21/obamas_radical_ and_communist_alliances.thtml

Barack Obama has consistently 'Chosen his friends Carefully' according to him.

What consistency - What judgment - Barack Obama has shown!

RealBlackMan
Sorry, but I fear his politics and his unconstitutional socialistic way of thinking ..so in this we'll disagree.

Touche' you're right sadly, it may take another generation to be colorblind but I was raised that way so maybe I don't see it in the same light.

One great experience I had was while I was in Charlotte SC before the election I had a great chat with a fellow who supported Obama I didn't but we had a fun anyway and parted both a little more enlightened though neither of us changed their minds but he said that he had never talked to a conservative white woman before about politics without hearing the race card played. He's from the south his whole life and I'm from out west recently relocated...that's what we need more of to lessen the stereotypes I think.

@ Edna Eagle
I agree with your response 98% but what I don't agree with is the assertion that "as a country, we're now finally colorblind".

Obama's election shows an advancement of racial attitudes in this nation, but it hardly means the nation as a whole is colorblind. That day will come within the next generation, but right now we are in a transition period, I believe.

One last thing, Obama's policies are nothing to be fearful about. The only thing people should fear is the Lord and if more people did that first and foremost, we'd live in a much better place.

Thank you for your honesty.

Look in the mirror
I have read so many postings that it is becoming clear what this country has become.
1. The left blames the right.
2. The right blames the left.
There are so many views as to who is to blame for the problems of this world. They go to the extreme on both sides. Is there one answer to all? Of course there is.
This country is falling like a rock. And falling faster with every idiotic comment made on the blogs. Townhall,DailyKos, makes no difference.
You can spend unlimited time and effort trying to come up with the fall guy if you want. But if you really want to know why things are the way they are and who trully is to blame for the failures of this country, (both recent and historical) you have to look no further than a mirror.

@ realblackman
Thank you for your response,
I did included all other hyphenated countries in that statement as well.
Myself, I'm an American of Heinz 57 decent, and couldn't agree more that "political correctness" is a plague and it's demolishing our country.
History, the good the bad and the ugly isn't properly taught therefore the great American divide has become a chasm of chaos.

It's beyond race, theology, and politics...It's attitude, apathy, and a severe lack of self-reliance and a disgusting what's in it for me attitude. Shared by quite a few without a distinct definition.

To me, in a sense, I'm glad the Obama was elected. It was affirmation that as a country, we're now finally colorblind.

On the other hand the very thought of his politics scare me into nightmares.

That's as honest as I can get
Edna

Beyond what ExRCSD Deputy said,
Rudolf, about Ranger29, the man makes all kinds of claims about being an Active Duty Captain in the U.S. Navy, yet goes to great lengths to personally, and viciously attack every single Veteran and/or Current member of any branch of the United States Armed Forces that let's his status as current or former military be known.
THAT is a violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which if he were really a Military Officer he is sworn to uphold and obey.

He also, as one claiming to be active duty military, on a multiple times daily basis, further violates the UCMJ by repeatedly making disparaging remarks about his Commander in Chief.

BOTH of these acts are Courts Martial Offenses and if convicted of such, Ranger29 can and will be dishonorably Discharged, tried in a civilian court and put in prison for a long time.

@ Edna Eagle
I think you are way off base. African Americans didn't initiate this position of hyphenating our origin. Are you saying that Latino-American, Asian-American and Native Americans are not "real" because they are referred to by a hyphenated term?

I do not think we as black people "revel in past misdeeds" at all, it seems to me that some people like to emphasize certain parts of our nation's history (the one's that reflect favorably on Americans) and neglect or downplay the parts that are reprehensible.

The emphasis on political correctness in the past few years has changed a lot of things in terms of race, and I think largely a good think, though sometimes it goes overboard. My point is there no way to measure who is more "real" in their Americanness.

Eric Holder makes Janet Reno look kind!

I haven't read Pistols post, but I loved this part of yours, so I'm responding.

RBM said...
As for real black man, lets just break it down word for word. A real man, regardless of race, honors God and his parents, takes care of the children he fathers, does what is necessary to provide for his family, sets a good example and gives back to the community he came from. There are massive shortage of these people in all races, but I'm more focused on my community because the shortage is more drastic.
**Well put, that should be true of all races**

I chose my handle because that's what I am and I felt it would elicit response from people willing to discuss race. Some people feel like any mention of race or racial issues is "playing the race card", but these people are usually the ones with racial animus.

My bottom line is we are all of the HUMAN race and no race or country is better than another. The are good and bad in ALL people regardless of their skin color and discussions like these help get that point across.

Then why is it most black men/women have to hyphenate their heritage? (African-American or any other country-American)this puts another country before the USA unless you just arrived here and haven't become a citizen this doesn't make sense at all.

History is just that history with the emancipation and the demolition of Jim Crow laws this is an issue gone by.
I'm not saying what happened was right by any stretch but it's over.

It's like any other horrible stereotype that has been put on any group...Cheap as a Jew or savage as an Indian etc...They all are wrong but the black community seems to want to revel in the past misdeeds of others who are long since dead.
That's part of why Americans of African decent are not called "real" Americans, and it divides all Americans.
In my humble opinion. If I'm off base please let me know I'm open to discussion.

Fallen "Culture Warrior"
O'Reilly used to be the Culture Warrior until he sold out. I think it was when he did his interview with Hillary Clinton; from that point forward he's clearly been co-opted into a highly moderated stance, or at best, playing a neutral like Switzerland. His credibility is non-existent.

@pistol
I just responded to your question but it did not get posted. Damn that was like 4 paragraphs worth of response! I'll try again and be more brief.

There is no such thing to me as a "real" American. We are all "real" Americans, those of us legally born in the states. There is nothing a person can do to cease being an American, regardles of how bad your deeds where, besides treason. I do not beleive we can pick and choose which Americans are deemed worthy of the title of real because it gives the impression that there are Fake Americans, something I don't agree with. We must accept the good with the bad.

As for real black man, lets just break it down word for word. Rudolph what a whiff
I was attempting to pass on a compliment to you! As I figured, you would not be able to grasp the meaning.

dEon was famous! A man who was a spy! And was so good at it that people took bets on just what he was! He was a classic !

Reminded me of you. Good at carrying out his masters agenda. Kind of like a useful idiot for the cause.

Rudolph, actually I do
Two of my first cousins were homosexuals. I bailed them out of all kinds of problems. Both were good people. We grew up together.

Both dead of AIDS. They were in San Fran in the late 70s doing the bathhouse scene, etc. They tried to avoid it, but in the end it failed.

My neighbors (2) across the street are homosexual. They cant stand homosexual militants like you Rudolph, sorry. Thought I would pass that along. They believe like Elton John does.

I spent 30 plus years among all sorts of people Rudolph, most anti social types.(the job) Chances are you fit in that category.

Sad.
Sad, Anderson, that you are so fixated on cross-dressing, since most gays do not engage in that. Do you even know any gays? Given your hatred of them , I doubt it.

Rudolph, I forgot to ask
Speaking of literature, are you

Charles d"Eon ?
Or
Lia de Beaumont?

Personally I lean to Lia, but I await your answer.

Rudolph! Glad to see you!
Take a break from cruising the park restrooms tonight?

For sure Rudolph, I am no anti homosexual militant. I came to the conclusion that phony agendas such as what you and your other homosexuals militants are preaching, need to be challenged.

You are right about one thing, I have a long way to go before becoming an intellectual.

Sadly, your path is much longer, and will be far more arduous,

Take care Rudolph.

Nice to see you are still thinking about me.

Oh no!
Anderson, the militant anti-homosexual, is here again! For once he just likes to act as an intellectual and quote from 19th century writers. Is not that too gay for you, Anderson?

Sandra, on Mario
Sandra, a quote comes to mind from a very famous author of the 19th century, Edgar Allen Poe, and it fits Mario oh so well.

"I became insane with long intervals of horrible sanity."

Or if you prefer a quote by another famous English performer John Keats, also oh so fits Mario:

"I am a coward, I can not bear the pain of being happy."

Personally I think they both fit.

@ Sandra.
What is your problem? Let's be happy that Mario is at least one Cuban exile who is not a rightwing nut!

Mario - a refugee, citizen and cuban
You must love it that Obama will be having his first meeting with Raul...the lovely brother of the guy who made you a refugee. Isn't it lovely when we all get along? I officially take back everything i said about you. As a refugee, you have the right to remain senile in america.

Mario - double your medication please
then exit this forum gracefully before we take it up a notch. You are not only 'not making sense' you are beginning to ocuppy too much space with your love for Obama. Don't they have any liberal sites that can satistify your stupidity? SERIOUSLY!

Jim - what's your zip code and net worth
I live in maholland estates and love to endulge in all things pleasurable and profitable. I am part of the evil wealthy people that Obama said 'don't get it' because Warren's Court did not go far enough to redistribute their wealth. Unfortunately, Obama forgot like me, many people of color are now in that class including his number one fan who marketed him as a person of 'sound jugement'. Well then, if you adhere to the constitutional right to pursue happiness then you can email back your zip code and net worth at 90210gal@gmail.com.

hollar back!

Elevating Obamamania

As the President-elect “vacations” with his family in Hawaii, it seems as if the US Attorney [Fitzgerald] is intent on stifling any possible subpoenas of the Obama transition team’s possible involvement in the Senate seat affair, once again claiming any testimony from Obama [or those connected with his or his team’s part] may interfere with their investigation of Blagojevich.

What investigation?

First, they arrest & charge Blagojevich in the middle of a wiretap before a deal is done...
Now, they have claimed, ever since, that Obama's people can't talk about any role they may have had in it, the excuse being "an investigation"...

1. Why did they arrest Blagojevich if they hadn't completed their "investigation?"

2. Why did it take Obama's team an additional week before repeating that they didn't do anything wrong?

3. What "investigation" was Fitzgerald conducting then that made it necessary for Obama's transition team to wait a week later, and until Obama was safely tucked away in Hawaii, before they ended up saying the same thing they had been saying all along?

4. Why is no one in the media questioning this obvious and blatant “shell game”?

Something is rotten in Denmark...and, once again, Barack Obama is smack dab in the middle of it.

The sad thing is that no one has the guts to seek the truth or any accountability from this charlatan of a president-elect.

I’m not a fan of Governor Blagojevich because I don’t agree with his policies, but I recognize a lynching when I see one.

The turkeys are the American people who have become so "progressive" and politically correct, they are willing to accept this farcical fairy tale election...

...the hams are the erstwhile "journalists" who are scurrying like a mob of rats to jump on the brainwash bandwagon that elevates Obamamania.

RangerIQ's-29 is banned because beyond being an arrogant, overbearing, smug, conceited a**, he makes insulting, sexist, racist comments about any conservative woman, berates, belittles, and talks down to anyone who disagrees with him, and he has more wild, unbelievable, and out right false assertions about his background and experience. He sets himself up as the "resident expert" no matter what the topic is, and no matter what expertise a poster here has, he has done the same thing only better. Basically he is pain in the a**.

As long as Anne is allowed to post her garbage here, why is he not allowed here?

Happy New Year To Some, but not all!
Bill's right! It will be a Happy New Year for those who are imprisoned at Guantanamo in 2009 and frightening for the United States which begs the question why does Obama want to shut it down and treat those terrorists with kid gloves and available to plot some more against us? It will be a Happy New Year for the gay movement as the much of the bail out money was used for the gay movement as Obama appointed them into at least seven positions of power. It will be a Happy New Year for Planned Parenthood as Obama plans to push killing more babies by abortion by supporting their movement with tax dollars as well, but not a Happy New Year for the innocent babies that are about to take their last breath as innocent human beings. So, if putting Rick Warren on the podium is suppose to make me or any moral conservative feel better about this appeasement for conservatives, he's 100% wrong - and we don't plan on having our Second Amendment rights trampled upon, either nor do we plan on giving up on demanding that the Justice Department, DNC, and U.S. Congress produce a valid U.S. birth certificate and follow the supremem law of the land, Article II, U.S. Constitution which they are are breaking the law and violating by refusing to do so.

Tim: Aaah, my son had one until it

Hey Cuban Mario
Mario, you have to be my favorite idiot liberal. Speaking of foreigners, how long have you been in the United States? Aren't you from Cuba? Why would you want to leave a socialist "Paradise" like Cuba to go to Florida? You are in Florida, aren't you? Legally, I hope. Have you been here the 40 years and experienced the "Conservative policies have destroyed our country over the last 40 years", and what are those policies? Oh and you can forget about your new Pres-elect (we had "No Contact" with Gov Blagojevich), because he's going down.

daft: STOP being such an idiot!

That's ALL you do is embarrass yourself.

Barack Obama is a brilliant man. He knows his success hinges on getting us out of the recession and preventing another terror attack at home. "

We had our worse terrorist attack while Bush was sleeping on the job and he was reelected. BOR isn't only crazy , he's really stupid.

jim: What you "remember?" You're dancing

dangerously close to heresy!

And, in case you're not aware, heresy is an opinion (or doctrine) at variance with the orthodox or accepted doctrine, esp. of a church or religious system.

jim: Sorry to burst your bubble on that.

========

Well as I remember, it didn't work out just right. God had been working so hard, Adam looked very tired.

The idea was that Eve would help with the work that needed to be done in a household, so the man would not be so tired.

daft: Try very hard to pull yourself

together....

That's what Bozo Obama said, and O'Reilly was just repeating it....

Sorry... Bet you have a different take on it now knowing that it was Bozo's plan.. Ha Ha Ha...

Bet now, all of a sudden, it's a GREAT idea! LOL

BOR
From Alan Dershowitz

O'Reilly the author rails against secularists to whom the sanctity of the church means nothing, while O'Reilly the powerful media mogul bragged to his Fox News producer, according to her legal complaint, that "he was going to Italy to meet the Pope, that his pregnant wife was staying at home with his daughter, and implied he was looking forward to some extra-marital dalliances with the 'hot' Italian women."

jim: Sorry to burst your bubble on that.

But Adam was NOT really just an experiment, then PERFECTION.

In fact, I believe you posted a similar preposterous comment post on Austin Hill's thread the other day.

I can't let something that outrageous go without being challenged.....

God created Adam in His own image! Therefore, God would NOT look at that creation as a mistake, much less an experiment.

Genesis 1:27-28 ESV Bible.

27 So God created man in His own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.

28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Oh Boy!
"So, here, the fight against terror will continue to be waged aggressively. However, the prison at Guantanamo Bay will be shut down, and coerced interrogation will not be allowed on Obama's watch. So the terrorists gain an advantage."

I hadn't realized just how totally bat sh*t crazy BOR had gotten.

I'm SURE I'm not the only one who has

Tim: You "play" with those toys?

Been a while since I was upstairs in that toy dept., but that was the BEST place to buy last minute birthday presents because they wrap the gifts! :-)

Oh, and since you're obviously a neighbor... I'm annoyed with the warm weather and the fog!

renny: You're absolutely spot on!

And... that rodeo clown, bail out swindler, Paulson never even provided any provisions so that the recipients of OUR money had to be accountable, or as you said, they had to loan any percentage of the money. So, the banks CAN and ARE hoarding the money.

You're right too, the gov't cannot *end the recession* as it started the recession. In fact, I think we LEARNED that... or perhaps the dems didn't.

The only thing the govt can actually do is provide an "environment" for US to work our way out of a recession or depression... and that would be what Pres. Bush did when he first took office... LOWER TAXES!

Excellent reminder..."the vote in 2003 for the Iraq War was 86-12-1; the war carries the backing of the UN through 2010; and when we went into Bosnia-Serbia under Clinton, the Senate never voted and the UN was never consulted."

And ONE MORE THING that the BDS and RDS crowd seem to forget (if they ever learned) is that Pres. Bush CANNOT, nor has he spent ONE THIN DIME. Every budget and expenditure MUST be approved by Congress.

I voted for Pres. Bush... but that's not to say that there aren't some things that I'm really annoyed with him about. (Grrrrr!) But, it's just so frustrating when these liberals don't even KNOW how the government works...

And God said PERFECTION.

Greetings, Anne m'dear. :-)
It doesn't matter whether Mario owns and operates a shoeshine, lemonade or hot dog stand. The main thing to keep in mind is that he's a self-made man and should be respected as such. It's not his fault he's illiterate, and that mommy won't let him play with other kids. We should learn to be kind to those less fortunate than ourselves.

Jim - careful, feminists are offended
What makes you think God made a man first? Feminists would argue God was a woman therefore the creation - I mean evolution - of Adam was as a result of a woman's great idea LOL!

Thanks for giving women the props they don't get anymore:) Good to see there are a few good men who are not afraid to say 'women are really something beautiful!" - and you live in CA???? Wow!

Anne - Mario is a subcontractor
for ACORN. The distinguished organization that trains community organizers to register the dead and fight for illegal aliens to have the right to vote while making sure the Gitmo freedom fighters get their day in court where they are found not guilty based on religious beliefs leading to reparations for them. Mario's 'self reliance' began when he managed to register more voters in Denver than there were residents. He is grateful for the foreign funded campaign of Hussein because it made it possible for him and other 'legal' business owners to register those who would ensure the votes were for the 'right' candidate. After all, Mario is a self made made who does not covet the rich that he insults and whose wealth he'd like to see redistributed. That sure sounds like a self made, self reliant, small business man - no doubt!

For Anne and Larry and
all the good people, remember the Freddie/Fannie/CRA trio are still law and still in full force. None has been amended or changed so that they don't force financials to *loan* money to deadbeats and outright crooks who will never pay back any pincipal and, therefore, keep banks from recapitalizing again. It will be the $700 billion bailout ad infinitum.

Levin, et. al. have already warned the few financials that have actually gotten any of that $700 billion--which seems to be loaded with bike paths, tennis courts, and sports stadiums (all the infrastructure the country really needs)--that banks can't *hoard* money from the gov't but have to keep *lending.*

The gov't cannot *end the recession* as it started the recession. And all that Big Bro O will do is worsen it, as FDR lengthened the Great Dep. And some rads. want it that way as they believe Ams. really have to *suffer* in order for the left to get its claws even deeper into the private ec. in order to *save* us.

Also, in case anyone forgot the vote in 2003 for the Iraq War was 86-12-1; the war carries the backing of the UN through 2010; and when we went into Bosnia-Serbia under Clinton, the Senate never voted and the UN was never consulted.

You're a business owner Mario?
Mario claims
"I am a self employed, self made, small business owner. I don't need those Rich people you covet so much to do sh*t for me."

Is that so? I won't ask you to prove it since I doubt you can, but if you're a business owner answer me this.

Do you have employees, and how many?

Do you like THE GOVERNMENT telling you how much to pay your employees?

Do you like the government telling you how to run your business?

What you can make, and how to make it?

What you can sell and how to sell it?

Raising your taxes whenever they think you're making too much, but not paying them enough?

Telling you that YOU are not giving enough to charity so they're going to decide how much you should give, and if you don't do it "voluntarily" they'll TAKE IT from you?

These are just a few ways that the government sticks its nose into YOUR business, and takes YOUR money to give to people that don't want to work.

If you're a "self made small business owner" why is that you want the government to make all of your important business decisions for you?

Hey Motley! :-) I think you might be

right.

I was thinking more in terms of cleaning out the bottom of bird cages. But I suspect you may be right after all!

Mario - who signs your pay check?
Self employed, self made business man still gets his checks signed by those who buy his services or goods and/or give them contracts- and those are the wealthy. Get it?????

Your pathetic arguments make me realize that you are more limited than I initially thought. If you are self made then you surely understand why having a president who wants to federalize everything will impact the free markets that have made you 'self made'? Why socialism as practiced in europe/canada would make it less likely for a person to become 'self made' - no? You are either lying or a poor man who wishes or thinks he is rich. A rich man would understand the implication of Hussein's economic policies that have failed everywhere they have been implemented. You are a liar with a single digit IQ.

I don't covet the rich - I am wealthy and want everyone around me to become wealthy so that you and your elk can stop insulting the wealthy. If you don't know the difference between rich and wealthy - listen to chris rock's explanation, it's made for single digit IQ people like you who made up Obama's voting base.

Tim: Yes, I think I saw those too...

In fact, I'm pretty sure the Reindeer Tracks came from the shopping center on the other side Rte. 252!

:-)

Don't tell me Mario owns and operates
a shoeshine stand at the bus station.

Creation and Evolution (5th try TH!)

Several of you mentioned Creation and Evolution.

The pushers of evolution tell us that a little speck of something washed up on a beach somewhere, then evolved into all that we see today. My question, that I have asked many times is never answered, and the subject is always changed right quick.

My question: Where did that little speck of something come from and how did that beach just happen to be there at the right time. And where did the beach come from?

One time a speck of rusty something washed up on that same beach. If you hear a roar, look up and you can see the 747 that evolved from that speck of rust.

Since we are not allowed to even think of intelligent design, those engineers in Seattle were just part of the evolution amoeba.

=========

By the way, I believe God did make one little mistake during Creation. “God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

After that, God looked at Adam and said, “Blah!”

But he corrected that mistake a little later: “And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, … “

And God looked at what he had done and yelled, “Perfection!”

sandra: IF it's true, that mario is

a small business owner (impossible to believe!) NO DOUBT he hires ILLEGAL ALIENS!

Who knows what makes him so ANGRY at "rich" people? Can't imagine what "rich" people ever did to him.

But, IF he actually does own his own business (???) I bet he never stopped to think that in most countries he wouldn't have the opportunity to own his own business....

And, in most other countries, he wouldn't have the freedom of speech (even) he has in this country.

It's truly amazing that he and koolaidmuse and deranged29, and some of the others actually spend so much time on TH doing nothing but spewing hate and anger! Huh!

Mario is proof positive that you can
give a monkey a keyboard and let it pound on it all day long, but if you expect coherency then there's something wrong with you.

Larry22
You should be writing a column, not commenting. Yours were as thorough and correct as I have read anywhere. We could kick Parker off for you.

One of the most maddening sentences the MSM and politicians say is "Well, both sides are guilty".Their answer to soften the blame directly caused by the left.

I was once a liberal democrat...
...needless to say ... I stopped drinking the kool-aid ... then the fog cleared and the effects wore off. Then, I was able to see the worms that democrat party politicians truly were.

BHO, BHO, BHO, BHO,

I wondered why so many of you were mentioning BHO

I didn’t know that Bill O’Reilly’s middle name started with the letter “H.”

larry22: Just as I said in post #2...

It's that the lawmakers... dems... got caught, and having their hands in the cookie jar was just the least of it.

But, the hits just keep on coming.... Did you see this?

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=84101

"Rezko attorney 'owns' Obama mansion
Lawyer at firm where Democrat worked receives tax bill...."

Just when you think it couldn't possibly get any better than this.... Sure enough... it just gets better and better and better...

And, no doubt, Blago is Obama's WORST nightmare just now. Blago is NOT taking a hit on this alone!

Tim #221: Nice try! But I've been

telling daft to "do his homework" for months and months and months....

I've even done his research FOR HIM... provided links, etc. But he just won't do it.

And, I'm not the only one... Countless Conservatives have provided information and research links, etc., but he just won't get it.

I'm afraid that daft is one of those people who are just stuck on stupid! Who knows, he must like it, or something.

Ann, the credit crisis and global...
...economic meltdown are democrat disasters, developed over several years of social engineering by democrats. The Community Reinvestment Act is the main democrat policy that set up this current economic crisis:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Community_Reinvestment_Act

Trillions of dollars of "paper" assets supported on the foundation of federally forced bad mortgage loans mandated by the democrat CRA have suddenly vanished when millions of "over valued" homes and there mortgages found their true value. Freddie Mac and Fannie May filled with democrat politicians earning multi-million dollars in income from cooked books. Barney Frank's boyfriend was an book cooking executive for a company Barney Frank's house committee was obligatated to oversee.

If a Republican or several Republicans had done what we know several democrats, in fact, did to cause this global credit market crisis you can bet your last few pennies the leftist mainstream media would be showing those Republican faces all over TV, radio, the Internet, the Drudge Report, on every socialist blog, calling for the blood of the entire Republican party ... but ... no faces or names are attached to this democrat created credit crisis ... except ... of course ... George Bush.

The inmates (wacko sociologist led by Marxist radical Barack Hussein Obama) have taken over the asylum (the country) and they will have no one to shift blame except themselves! They bought it ... they own it! Because their wacko, crazy, social engineering policies caused this credit crisis in the first place.

Mario - who signs your pay check?
The rich do. You can insult the rich all you want but most americans, yourself included, want financial independence as part of their american dream - not a federalized life based on government handouts to the loudest dependent. What will you do when you grow up and realize the government does not have any answers for your problems? Blame Bush? Vote for another inexperienced president to make yourself feel better? oh maybe, you'll get a clue and begin to plan for a successful future without government assistance - YIKES!

larry22 #217, 219, 220: You are SPOT ON!

with EVERY point you made! Excellent! Well said!

No one would want to even imagine what would happen would any Republican be in place of any one of the dems, or the scenarios you mentioned.

It would just stagger the imagination.

Now, we have to sit back and watch how the dems here on TH "react" to those well stated FACTS!

Rudolf - question for you?
What has netherlands done lately?
Why did you leave that wonderful country lead by atheists?

When atheists take a superior note to believers, it makes me realize that God does have a sense of humor. Show some respect to the believers who make up 98% of this great nation that has afforded you a life you can believe in. Obama is not my hope because Jesus is my hope. Furthermore, Obama does not bring any change because ALL HIS IDEAS have been tried and found to be lacking in all communist countries. Where's the proof?

democrats lied the US in Iraq war
Did these democrats lie us into the Iraq war?

"We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and the means of delivering them." - Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI), Sept. 19, 2002

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." - Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002

"The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons..." - Sen. Robert Byrd (D, WV), Oct. 3, 2002

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line." - President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program." - President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face." - Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998

democrats lied ... troops died!

Carter/Clinton Community Reinvest Acts
Leftist social engineering/social justice policies like the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) placed the banking mortgage and consumer credit industries in the peril we see today.

http://www.lewrockwell.com/dilorenzo/dilorenzo125.html

Obama's ACORN increased the pressure on bankers to continue the bad practice of approving bad loans:

http://notasheepmaybeagoat.blogspot.com/2008/10/barack-obam a-acorn-and-community.html

In fact, democrats tried to, on one hand blame Republicans and Bush for the financial crisis and then sneak funds for ACORN in the original $700 billion bailout package until Republicans refused to vote for that bailout package:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2092686/posts

Obama/ACORN fingerprints were all over the mortgage and credit crisis:

http://mises.org/story/2963

"When the CRA was created during the Carter administration, the administration also funded with tax dollars numerous "community groups" that have helped the Fed, the Comptroller of the Currency, and other federal regulatory agencies to enforce the act. Under the CRA, if a bank wants to make virtually any change in its business operations — merging, opening up a new branch, getting into a new line of business — it must first prove to regulators that it has made "enough" loans to the government's preferred borrowers. The (partially) tax-funded "community groups" like ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) can file petitions with regulators that stop the bank's activities in their tracks, perhaps defeating them altogether. The banks routinely buy off ACORN and other "community groups" by giving them millions of dollars as well as promising to make even more dubious loans."

Awe daft: So typical of the limited

left... Whenever you hear the truth you just call it "hate."

THAT, little guy, is delusional and some sort of denial that the intellectually limited left seems to have taken to some sort of an art form.

Gorelick and Raines and democrats
democrats raked in multi-million dollar paychecks like, Jamie Gorelick, by using their clout with the DNC to help Freddie Mac and Fannie May cook their books so Barney Frank and his boyfriend could keep campaign contributions flowing to democrats in Congress to turn a blind eye that the credit banking industry held trillions in bad paper. By the way, Jamie Gorelick is the one who established the "wall of separation" between the CIA and the FBI making the 9/11 terrorist.

http://inzax.us/2008/09/17/jamie-gorelick-clinton-crony/

"Gorelick also served on the board of directors of Fannie Mae, and was part of the accounting cook booking scheme which has resulted in hundreds of billions of dollars in losses and is now owned by the taxpayer...Gorelick pocketed $26 million from her Fannie Mae affiliation."

Frank Raines, another democrat, raked in $90 million in pay to cook the books for democrats and ACORN:
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/09/how_clos e_are_raines_and_obama.html

"He (Frank Raines) was accused of manipulating earnings statements so he could be paid bonuses to which he was not entitled.
In July, Mr. Raines was interviewed by Anita Huslin, a business reporter for the Washington Post."

Let's say, former Bush attorney general, John Ashcroft, raked in $90 million in pay from either Freddie Mac or Fannie May, would the media and democrats call for congressional investigations?

Let's say former Bush secretary of defense, Donald Rumsfeld, received $26 million in pay from either Freddie Mac or Fannie May, would the leftist media and congressional democrats scream from every rooftop?

What say you?

Anne

All that hate and stress, Anne, is going to give you bad health. Yoga really works or try brisk walking. I hope you at least had a great Christmas. God Bless.

larry22: You are absolutely correct...

"Both sides are to blame...." Yeah, right!

But, we always have daft to remind us of just how out of touch the intellectually limited, out of touch, delusional left really is....

In fact, poor daft hasn't gotten ONE thing right in all the time he's been posting on TH.

NOT ONE! How pathetic is THAT???

Larry

The msm doesn't reflect reality. The truth is the truth. I suppose democrats have some of the blame, but by and large in was Bush's fault.

"Today, four former CEOs of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac testified before the House Oversight Committee on how their companies’ actions may have “contributed to the ongoing crisis.” Blaming Fannie, Freddie, the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), and low-income people is one of conservatives’ favorite talking points. In September, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) touted an article criticizing the CRA for pushing “Fannie and Freddie to aggressively lend to minority communities.”

"Congress passed the Community Reinvestment Act in 1977, requiring banks “to lend throughout the communities they serve.” In the 1990s, greater mortgage lending to lower-income households by CRA-coveed banks increased the homeownership rate for lower-income and minority families. As CAP scholar Tim Westrich has written, “The real culprits in the mortgage mess are non-bank mortgage companies — not covered by CRA — that originated the lion’s share of bad mortgages at the heart of the crisis. They made an estimated 50 percent of subprime loans in 2005.”

Numerous other scholars, including Nobel-winning economist Paul Krugman and Center for Economic and Policy Research co-director Dean Baker, have also explained that while Fannie and Freddie made many bad decisions, they weren’t primarily to blame for the financial crisis. At a hearing in September, former top government economic experts agreed that conservatives were pushing myths, rather than facts."

Both sides are to blame?!?!

The use of the phrase, "Both sides are to blame" is a liberal rhetorical ploy serving these functions. It is an admission that democrats are the blame. Then, it's an attempt to share and then switch the blame to Republicans. This is to allow the democrats and their MSM to blame Republicans for what democrats are the blame.

However, (Mario), there is a way to uncover the truth. If a Repubiican or Republicans were even remotely to blame, the MSM would have their faces all over every news channel and outlet, 24 hours 7 days a week (24/7). With the faces of these Republicans the word "Republican" would be the main part of the news story. On the other hand, if it is that a democrat or democrats are to blame, the MSM would say "both sides are to blame" and the political party would not be a main part of the news story, leaving the public to assume Republicans are to blame because in all news stories about political corruption Republican are always made to be the blame.

Remember we live in the land of radical liberal news reported by democdrat party advocacy journalist. Today news is socialist democrat propaganda, where the liberal democrats are to blame.

Mario

"I wonder when it was exactly that the conservatives sold out the American people to the rich special interest and their rich foreign masters."

After reading several books on the Bush administration, and releasing that there are indeed many noble republicans, heck the whole DOJ threatened to resign over Bush's spy network, I think the time came with the Bush/Cheyne co-presidency and their obsession with power and greed.

" It spied on church groups and political protesters, and it also introduced a sweeping surveillance program that was so clearly illegal that virtually the entire senior echelon of the Justice Department threatened to (but did not in fact) tender their resignations over it."

Mario - take a chill 'pill' then.....
ask yourself why the foreign american president is shirtless in HI while his economic team lacks any viable plan for economic recovery. Also, ask yourself - does blaming conservatives make my life better? Will Obama's 8 years ensure a future we can believe in when Russians and any other foreign powers lack the minimum respect required not to brag about nuclear programs designed to penetrate any missle shield? While Obama's election makes you feel good, will he be able to tax and spend his way out of this economic mess? After you realize, that Obama is not a messiah, lacks any necessary experience to govern this country and is yet to provide a valid birthcertificate - say it slowly - 'i've been hookwinked, and I can't find my way out of this mess' - then stare at the picture of the president-elect shirtless in HI while listening to 'am too sexy for my shirt' song.......as you realize YOUR LIFE IS AS BAD AS IT WAS UNDER OBAMA AS IT WAS UNDER BUSH - STOP BLAMING OTHERS AND OWN YOUR LIFE!

Liberal's Mental Illness
It's amazing to me that after two years of preaching hope and change via jive express barak hussein obama - liberals have neither accomplished the change they can believe in within the new administration, a pastor they can believe in during the 'historic' inauguration or hope for their economic and political dreams. Blame Bush all you want but the evidence based on how hussein has picked his cabinet and his multiple press conferences DEVOID of any 'hopeful' economic policy will make even the single digit voters like Mario realize - change did not come on Nov. 4th 2008 and there is a cure for the mental illness called 'liberalism' or should I say 'progressive thinking'? Like 47% of americans clearly stated with their vote - KEEP THE CHANGE AND EVERYTHING OBAMA HAS TO OFFER TO AMERICANS - we shall overcome this mental illness and then re-build the republic on solid conservative ideas like lower taxes and personal responsibility.

Three things, no four
1. I'll give O'Reilly credit for pointing out the dangers of Eric Holder as Attorney General. Just confirms my opinion that BHO will try to destroy America.

2. O'Reilly is a torture advocate.
He wrote: "... coerced interrogation
will not be allowed on Obama's watch.
So the terrorists gain an advantage"
And last year he wrote "...thousands of dead Americans have changed the rules. To allow captured killers wearing civilian clothing and fighting for no nation the privilege of name, rank and serial number status is not only stupid, it could be lethal."

Isn't it amazing how so many nice well mannered Americans have come out of the woodworks over the past few years and have advocated the use of torture? What is happing to society?

3. BHO hasn't spoken of much in the way of implementing the usual preferred policies of the Democratic party, such as less free market and greater corporate regulation. If he
doesn't do these things, the economy won't improve much.
And 4. The fix is in alright.
BHO isn't Constitutionally eligible to be president anyway, so all this talk is a charade.

maverick
what are you smoking??

Ensign: Exactly what I was thinking. :-)

It might just be that Mario is stupider than deranger29...

deranger29 tends to lean toward being sexual pervert now and then.

mario tends to be a bit more vicious... the kind who would set fire to animals or something.

Either way, neither seems to have to brains God gave a gnat!

Geeze, it's almost impossible to tell

who is more mentally challenged... mario or deranged29!

mario is another one who probably needs help feeding and dressing himself... provided he ever gets dressed.

Thanks to President Bush
Either way you look at it, President elect Obama comes out smelling like a rose thanks to President Bush. I'm not talking about the economy. As a matter of fact where would our economy be had the terrorist turned this country into their play ground of death and destruction. Had that happened, the way of life we knew would no longer exist. Our streets would resemble Iraq with car bombs and our malls would be the targets of every terrorist who happened to get past security. President Bush is the one who had it hard and difficult. Nothing President elect Obama has to face can compare to what President Bush had to go through. President elect Obama has nothing but smooth roads to travel which were paved by President Bush and our troops.

Anne, have you noticed
That Mario appears to be even stupider than Ranger Robbie?

For the life of me I never would have thought that possible.

Poor mario: Obviously has the SAME

limited intellect and reading comprehension problems deranged29 and Rud have.

Now, other than CIA, did I say anything about "KGB and secret operatives?"

Nope, I didn't! In fact, I'm pretty sure I don't know any of those!

But, try to consider this bit of information.

There are THOUSANDS of people who work at Langley.

There are THOUSANDS of people who work at the Pentagon.

There are THOUSANDS of people who work at Quantico.

Where exactly do you think these people LIVE?

For the most part, they live in No. VA and Maryland. So, chance are, if you live in No.VA or MD, you live near or in a neighborhood where military, ex-military, retired military, and CIA, etc. employees live.

Mario and the looney left,
...two enigmatic forces of egomaniacal brain sickness that will never lack for a vigorous stroking by the inpatients here at Townhall.

Thanks for creating another prolific propagator of propagandistic pap, people of TH! (Now I know how Moses felt. "These people are hopeless...What's that God? Lead them around the desert for a generation until they all die and new ones w/ brains can be raised up? Okay, but this is gonna be a loooong 40 years...")

to: Ronna
Thank you for saying what I was afraid to say.

to: O'really? and his clones
Not that I don't think you are wonderful too,(it's just that I MEANT what I said to Ronna) but I guess I don't.

Ooooo, talking like O'really? really makes one want to take a bath! Unfortunately, thanks to O'really?s' instructions to me in the past, we have sworn off ANY energy that comes from the use of fossil fuels soooo, I have to go out back and chop the wood that is to be burnt under the bath tub. (thank goodness old "Bill the Brain" told me to quit tobacco use too, because the smoke from the "water heater" is about all my eight kids can take...)

Oh, and just so O'really? doesn't think I am a hater, Happy New Year Che Guevera!

For example?

People are now aware how inferior your conservative ideas and values are, and the harm they have caused.

For example?

Rudolf, Rudolf, Rudolf, why would you

think that's such a big deal???

In addition to being very intellectually limited, you certainly do live a very sheltered existence.

I'm not sure how or where you got that I said those CIA guys were very handsome and very manly CIA-men (although they were!) but the neighborhood where my daughter and her family lives, was until about a year ago, about 90%-95%, military, ex-military, retired military, CIA, and people who worked in the Pentagon, etc., etc. So, it's NOT that big a deal!

And, I'm pretty sure that I didn't say anyone told me about WMDs in secret whisper. It was NEVER, to my knowledge, "secret" or "classified" information.

It's just that the MSM wasn't talking about it because it was still trying to claim that Saddam never had WMDs.

But, here's a friendly suggestion. Obviously, along with your limited intellect, you also have a reading comprehension problem. Therefore I strongly suggest that you either READ posts at least twice (or three times)
