Do you feel the leaked information from a global warming alarmist organization is meaningful?

It seems like a classic “do as I say, not as I do” scenario.

Last August, when Republican presidential nominee John McCain couldn’t answer a reporter when asked how many houses he owned (“I’m not sure, I’ll have to check with my staff” was McCain’s response), candidate Obama and his fellow Democrats were quick to seize the moment.

Portraying McCain‘s foible as evidence that his lifestyle was “out of touch“ with “everyday Americans,” Obama said before an audience in Virginia:

“….Now think about that….There’s just a fundamental gap of understanding between John McCain’s world, and what people are going through every single day here in America. You don’t have to be a Nobel Prize-laureate economist, you just have to have a little bit of a sense of what ordinary people are going through to understand that we can’t afford eight more years or four more years or one more year of the failed economic policies that George Bush has put in place.”

That was last August. Today, Barack Obama is our President. He has pledged to be the President that helps “everyday Americans.” And he has pledged that his administration will be the most “open” and “transparent” in the history of the U.S. Presidency.

And President Obama’s choice for a top cabinet position (to oversee the Department of the Treasury, no less), Timothy Geithner, has been discovered to have “forgotten” to pay $34,000 in personal taxes, and to have “mistakenly” employed a personal housekeeper in his home who had not filed the appropriate immigration paperwork.

Can you “relate” to Tim? Is this what it means to be “in touch” with “everyday Americans?” As Senator Jon Kyl said during the confirmation hearings last week, the notion that Geithner was unaware of his outstanding tax bill is “implausible.”

My point here is not to belittle or malign Timothy Geithner. He appears to be an extremely well educated, talented, and accomplished man. And for those of us who were unnerved by President Obama’s campaign of Kenyan-styled, redistributionist, “spread the wealth around” politics, a Geithner appointment at the Department of the Treasury (as well as the presence of some other members of Obama’s economic team) suggests that the new administration can attain at least some semblance of a rational monetary policy.

But here is what appears to be unfolding in the era of President Obama: America is rapidly devolving into a new age of elite governance, where “the rulers” operate on one playing field, and the rest of us - - “the ruled” - - operate on a separate, more lowly, more enslaved playing field.

Think about it. The world of “the rulers“ is one where personal wealth, governmental power, and exclusive insider relationships, are all “leveraged” and intermingled so as to beget more personal wealth, power, and opportunity for the rulers. Both Democrats and Republicans play on this field, although Democrats are usually more inclined to wield power in such a way as to constrain the outsiders.

For those of us who aren’t in the exclusive Washington club - - “the ruled” - - it is understood that we cannot find our way in the world without the help and meddling of the rulers. And, of course, we must at all times be held to the letter of the law (especially tax law).

The belief is that, left to our own devices, we will necessarily fail to develop a career and find gainful employment, fail to care for our neighbors, drive the wrong kinds of cars and overheat the planet, and fail to properly educate our offspring. Should any of us defy the odds and actually make a life for ourselves without all the insider advantages of being among the Washington elite, it is incumbent upon us to willingly do “the Patriotic thing,” as Vice President Biden described last Fall, and submit to having the government take away ever-increasing portions of our wealth. After all, “the rulers” know how to manage all that wealth better than we do ourselves.

This elitist mindset of “the rulers” was painfully apparent during the short and not-so-happy Senate “bid” of presidential daughter Caroline Schlossberg. While it is unclear whether or not she ever really wanted to be a Senator in the first place, she did nonetheless lower herself once, and submit to a sit-down discussion with reporters in December. During the rambling and rather inarticulate chat, Schlossberg assured reporters of all the things she intended to “give” New Yorkers - - more education, more healthcare, more jobs - - all things that are funded with our tax dollars. Yet, three weeks later, Ms. Schlossberg withdrew her availability for the Senate appointment, in part because she was discovered to have unpaid back taxes.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Currently, there seems to be no limit to America’s appetite for elitist governance. Yet millions of us still dare to think differently. We may not aspire to be one of “the rulers,” and we are a cultural minority group right now, yet we will not be “ruled” as President Obama and the Congress believe we should.

Stay tuned - - a backlash is already in the making.

Agree and Disagree with Austin
I disagree with Austin that someone might not "forget" that they owed thirty or forty thousand dollars. People who make big money have "people" that handle that kind of stuff for them and the actual taxes paid are often as a result of negotiations between the IRS and their people--sometimes several years later.

I agree that this is a big problem. If you or I didn't pay our taxes the IRS would hound us until we either paid all the taxes, penalties and interest, or went to debtor's prison (yes it still exists) or we died. Will the new president do anything about this? Not bloody likely...

Dr.Douglas
If you were a psychiatrist,I would say. "Physician...heal thyself".

Backlash?
I got your backlash right here.

What if...???
What if the Supreme Court fails to make Obama produce an original birth certificate to prove his eligibility to assume the office of President of the United States? All indications are that Obama was born in Kenya, and he has had all of his birth records sealed.
If, indeed, Obama was born in Kenya, then he is illegally occupying the presidency and has successfully pulled off a coup d'etat against the United States. We would not tolerate a foreign country invading and occupying our White House. Will we tolerate any individual doing the same by political subterfuge? A coup, even by deception, is still a coup...

It's time for our elected representatives to hear from us that we will not stand for this.
Obama must prove his eligibility or be removed.

Re TAX CHEAT Tim Geithner--CALL your sen
Call your senator NOW and express strongly to VOTE NO later today, if you agree that Geithner should not be *rewarded* for his dishonesty and lack of integrity.

You can get your Senators' phone numbers by going to:

http://www.lieberman.senate.gov (for example, if you are in CT)

Otherwise, substitute the last name of your senator, as in:

http://www.hatch.senate.gov

There is no question of Geithner's belated tax paying being simply careless errors. He received the MONEY to pay the self-employment taxes, along with statements quarterly from the IMF, which HE SIGNED!, stating that he UNDERSTOOD that he was obligated to pay those taxes.

Voting for a tax cheat to be the Treasury Secretary would be a *slap in the face* to all the hard-working citizens who DO pay their taxes, WITHOUT having to be audited by the IRS, or being shamed (forced) into paying in order to get a high profile job!

In the Senate committee hearing last week in which Geithner was questioned, Geithner would not even admit his dishonesty. Instead, he simply "apologize[d] to the committee for ...having to *spend so much time* on these issues." As if the Senators' TIME is so important, and the issues of integrity and CHARACTER are *trivial.*

Mr. Geithner also NEVER ANSWERED a senator's question about whether he would have ever paid the 2001 & 2002 taxes if he had not been nominated for this position! I think you and I KNOW the answer to that question!!

Obama's Elitist Government
Obama and his wife exhibited that arrogant and snobbish attitude throughout the campaign. We see it in all the liberal elitists that think they are above the law and that they are better than the fools that voted for them. Obama's message of "change" and "we are one" was just a bunch of lies.

WELCOME TO THE ARMY PRIVATE!
As a draftee (1964--66) I got very used to a two tier system of life. I lived in a hallway with 150 other soldiers with 3 sinks, 3 toilets, and 3 urinals. Officers lived in nice private 1 bedroom apartments.

"Republicans are the elitists

This article is pure hateful nonsense, as usual. Trying to frame the democrats (liberals) as "elitist", when they have and always have been the party of the poor and middle class, is utterly dishonest. What utter hypocrisy.

As for the backlash, this is what conservatives (i.e., reactionaries) have always been about. You are still reacting to Viet Nam, to the dirty hippies, to the terrible Clinton, and now of course to Obama (one week into his presidency!). That's all you guys know how to do: to react, in a backlash of victimhood."

I will agree that there is some elitist Republicans...see Kathleen Parker. However I suggest you take the plank out of your own eye. There are different types of elitists, and one need not be wealthy to be elitist. As to reacting...I do also agree we have become a nation of reactive people instead of proactive people. Where we part ways is saying Republicans are the only elitists or reactionaries. Look at TARP, look out the new 'stimulus'. Let em' eat cake.

What I find in you is, for someone who has a doctorate, you are not exactly a clear headed objective thinker who can analyze. You are dishonest, which makes you weak.

You are late to the party Mr. Hill
If you had been paying attention before Obama's election, you would have long ago discovered that the elites have been in charge for far too long. Your problem seems to be that you only recognize the Democrat elites. In fact, both corrupt major parties have been scamming us for over 50 years.

The elites have successfully perpetrated this scam by telling a lie over and over until it became accepted as true. The lie is that only they have the necessary wisdom, knowledge, and experience to govern. By falling for this propaganda from the DEM/GOP/MSM political machines, we have now fulfilled Einstein's very wise observation: Doing the same thing expecting a different result is insane.

What we have throughout our political system is an insane, out of control government run by elites from both corrupt parties. If we are ever to get out of this growing tyranny. we are going to have to do something new. We need new thinking and new blood from Independent and Third Party candidates to instill some common sense.

If you wish to see how the elites have pulled off the theft of our inheritance, you need to visit my website, JOEOLIVAFORPRESIDENT.ORG. The election is over, but the site is still available with plenty of factual information that will show us how to reclaim that inheritance. Check it out. Thanks, Joe

We knew, we ignored
Many of us knew Obama = disaster, but we didn't work hard enought to defeat the Usurper. Now it will be 1000 times harder. Don't say "now it is starting", say "now you'd better get serious about the fight".

Dr Douglas - reality check
This summer I advertized for a renter in the 'Housing Authority' newsletter. My first potential renter offered this information.
I have been in the housing program for 20 years. I am 43, have one 9 year old son and 3 grand children who depend on me. Because my daughter is expecting her 4th child we now qualify for a 4 bedroom and 3 bathroom home. I don't like the current townhome because my truck/SUV is too tall to fit into that small garage. I want to 'rent' a single family home because then my car can fit into the garage. She also informed me how we can 'beat' the system by me suggesting that I will pay for utilities. If I do that then i can get paid more money and she does not have to pay her portion which is $50/month for a house that rents at $1500/month. This is just one real example of 'dependence'.
Your guilt is the reason generational welfare will continue. I hope Obama succeeds in making these programs even bigger. Only then will he and other guilty Americans realize, it's creating a lesser society in the name of 'helping' them. Do you even know anyone who has generational dependence?

"It's too late to change the system but too soon to sh**t the b*st*rds". (Claire Wolfe)

With respect to ms wolfe, I think she was wrong. It's never too soon.

Get real Dr.Douglas
My friend as a young social worker in Virginia was making 28,000 a year and barely affording her 1200 dollar a month apartment (rents were high in her city). Meanwhile one of her clients moved into the apartment next door to her (same apartment she paid only 200 dollars a month). Anyway she and other newly licensed social workers in her city were actually making less money then their clients that they subsidized with their taxes when you factored in their housing subsidies, medicaid, SS for children that had hard to actually define learning disorders, food stamps, and income payments. Why would her client ever be stupid enough to get off the dole and go to undergraduate and graduate school to make less money -- the client would have to be an idiot.

Sorry, Jimbo
Got up to check the applesauce I'm making and noticed I got your screen name wrong.

To be clear, I do say plenty to the kids. Overall, our sytems accommdate that which needs to change because of the moral relativism that governs policy. The misguided think we haven't invested enough in social programs, when its the well-funded interventions that are problematic. I see alot of destructive willful choices still being dealt with as if the perp is the victim. I've spent my career in corrections/alternative education (baby corrections), and still cannot believe there are people like Dr.Douglas who think nothing is being done on the intervention front.

Gads, in the 80's there were inmates getting sex change treatment (at taxpayer expense) to get individual cells! We've been doing alot for a long time!

JW
I say PLENTY. My point is that we are not supposed to, and that is the training. Surely you have had your share of witless young case workers who inadvertantly accommodate outright destructive behavior? That's what I am referring to. I am very directive- the kids love it- but you know that the policies we are supposed to adhere to are ridiclous! Overall, the social service system is very well funded and ineffective because of this- that's my point.

DD!!3
* A 16 year old girl has finally decided she's had enough of her mother's partying, running around in her G-string, and busting open her bedroom door at odd hours of the night to fight with the girl. "Dad" has a new honey with a great cooter, so he's not interested in his daughter. The girl called DYFS (who has been involved since she was 3)to ask to be removed from the home. The girl was told by the DYFS worker that her mom was an "overwhelmed single mother" and to go to counseling at the hospital ( who has all the contracts for providing "services" and promptly diagnoses almost every kid with bipolar disorder). Mom has never worked, pays no bills, is in section 8 housing, and the girl spends most of her time in school and at the after school things I do- but somehow mom is "overwhelmed" in the eyes of the state.

* One student can command over $125,000.00 per year for special services; and the student does not have to be an American. Foreigners have learned to send kids to NJ to stay with relatives for special services in schools- nothing can be denied: medical care, speech , personal teachers and aids, occupational therapy, summer camps, personal transportation etc... all provided by the taxpayers.

The reasons I stay in the field is to help kids learn that they do not have to be gov't dependent, and the world is bigger than the 'hood, though the gov't provides just enough so that there is comfort in not changing. There are tons of programs that have expanded and many that are new since I began 25 years ago, and most are impotent to corrupt, and create "needs" to meet.

Clueless but opinionated people like you call it all "help" and always want to increase funding for destruction. Why not avoid the Christmas rush and just gas everyone? You will get the same result, only quicker. My God, you have never lived out of the abstract, have you?

My sympathies
...to Old SW. I have been a social worker for almost 15 years. I certainly have not broadcasted my values, but I have not really downplayed them either. When dysfunction and moral torpitude affect kids, I and most other SWs I know do say something. You don't refer someone to parent classes and drug treatment because of value neutrality.

I understand you're in NJ and all, but there's no excuse for saying nothing.

"THE MAN"
The new president is hell bent on killing babies here and preventing babies with a $300,000,000 grant to foreign nations for the purchase of CONDOMS! WHAT A HOOT!

This will stimulate the Chinese economy...ONLY!

Back-Lash, huh?
We'll see about that. With a greater reliance on government services and money and "aid" than ever before, I think you may be seeing the very beginning of governmental growth and importance. I'd certainly bet it will get significantly worse before it gets better.

Europe shows us how far we have yet to go, although with initial rioting in Iceland and some other locales, maybe the welfare state there might be teetering.

DD!! 2
Here are some recent cases of "help" that you think don't exist because of Republican"blocking":

* The court ordered a 14 year old girl to vistit her "father" every other weekend who moved to NJ from North Carolina and lives in a hotel he was placed in by NC probation. the "father" has never wanted anything to do wit the girl, but he does not want to pay child support and doesn't have to under the circumstances. "Mom" lives in public housing with her 6 other children and wants the girl to visit this man because then he will pay for their cell phones. Its touching, though, "dad" gave his daughter a gold Playboy Bunny head necklace for Christmas...

* A 17 year old girl was threatened with psychiatric inpatient if she didn't sign a family crisis intervention contract saying she would "respect her mother's partner". it seems the "partner" (number 4 in 3 years) was in the girl's room on her computer looking at porn, and the girl had a problem with it, which is what started the fight that got called in for "services".

* A 7 year old girl and 12 year old boy whose parents make bestiality porn movies at home tend to act up in school. The boy is aggressive and tries to strangle other students from time to time, and the girl is a mess who frequently hides under her desk. DYFS has been involved for years, and the law protects the parents because the kids aren't "forced to watch or participate". The kids both receive special services to the tune of $80,000.00 per year per child, but the "parents" cannot be touched and often threaten to sue the district for various complaints.

I'm still not done.

Elite governance
I hope there is a backlash in the making. So far there has been the deafening sound of silence from conservative leadership. There must be a national, well coordinated, consistent message that spells out the falacies and dangers in what is being proposed. This must be followed by a national effort to communicate opposition to elected officials. They are in a bubble and I truly believe that they do not get it.
Jane

Dr.Douglas!!
Just how are you defining, "improve things"? Here is what I have experienced during my 25 year career as a social worker, first 6 years in corrections (adult facility), and the last 19 in juvenile alternative education.

The war on poverty was and is most certainly well funded. It began with broad based programs such as AFDC, WIC, Affordable Housing, Aletrnative Education, clinic medical care, etc.... From there, any possible need was anticipated and accommodated, with absolutely no requirements of behavioral change placed upon the recipients of services. As a social worker, we cannot make direct suggestions that can be construed as a "value judgement"- we can be fired for that. For example if someone is having many children they can't afford- we can say nothing about it, only "connect the client with the appropriate resource".

Over the years, the fallout has created increased need in education and corrections due to the influx of nearly feral kids trying to raise themselves amidst a sea of "professionals" trying not to make "value judgements" about the "parent's" lifestyles of partying and self-indulgence. The result is more special education/ emotionally disturbed kids, and an increase in drug and alcohol use as well as crime.

We have created "helping" systems that have evolved into self-serving businesses that can do nothing because no value judgements can be made- so there are alot of "experts" passively watching as kids lives are destroyed thanks to the liberal aproach to "help" Furthermore, the reaction to the current social chaos is to place psychiatric diagnosis on kids who react to their parents self indulgent madness, as if the parents screwing, drinking, drugging, etc... is normal and the kids are the problem!

I'm not done with you.

The Times Have Changed
There will be no backlash unless the economy completely tanks and the American people suffer a dramatic decline in their living standard. Concepts of liberty, self-reliance and self-determination have been replaced by collectivism, inter-dependency and statism.

Rugged individualism is not only a quaint anachronism, but a downright frightening idea to most Americans. As long as they have enough income to cover their needs and a portion of their wants, there will be no revolution. A few hotheads will be labeled as "domestic terrorists" and be dealt with on a "Cops" special mini-series. Globalism in the guise of a modern, hip nationalism will be promoted by the both parties.

Despite the oppressive nature of their government, even the Chinese feel that they have sufficient freedom. Most political dissidents are viewed as disruptive hooligans that interfere with the social order. People are happy, as long as they have the illusion of progress in their standard of living.

The Good News......Dr Douglas
Your check from the central committee is in the mail.

The bad news: When you pay the ultimate price for your temporal salvation the tax rate will be enormous.

Dr. Douglas......
Take all of your comments and exchange "Democrat" for "Republican" and "Liberal" for "Conservative". Only then will your comments make sense.

oldsocialworker

You claim that democrats create and perpetuate poverty, and yet it's always been the republicans who have blocked efforts to improve things. This stuff about "promoting government dependence" is simply conservative propaganda (lies). First, the war on Poverty was never put into effect, because the Vietnam funding got in the way and of course Republicans blocked everything they could. Second, there's really little evidence of this "dependence" - the vast majority of people wanted better living conditions.

Primus54 - I'm not a clinical psychologist so I don't see any clients.

Again on the backlash, that's what modern conservatism is all about. You don't seem to have any new ideas (let's just cut taxes again), so all you do is invent these enemies (and often non-existent enemies such as socialism, gay marriages) and do your backlashes. Rather than being so reactionary, come up with some new solutions.

The Elites
Has there ever been a more lucrative career that to get elected to congress? They go there if not poor as a church mouse, certainly not wealthy. At least most of them aren't.

They dig in their heels the first year and begin running for reelection. It is a perennial job...staying in office. Some for decades.

They get wealthier and wealthier while their constituents, get poorer and poorer as they raise taxes and vote for programs they do not have to pay for,but their constituents do.

The officials have no idea how the people who elect them live, nor do they care. Just keep me in Washington and I will take care of you. That is their mantra. 'Kick The Bums Out.'

one of the "messiah's" lapdogs seeks to disenfranchise successful "white males" from any consideration for federal contracts. Let's see, infrastructure rebuilding by unskilled people--illegal aliens (Sorry--I mean "undocumented" workers") will do the work.
It's time to take the ONE good idea coming out of europe and call for a general strike. Both government, corporate America? and wall street need to be given a wake-up call.
Monkey wrench the system--it is not working anyway. If the secretary of the treasury can "forget" to pay his taxes, hire an illegal alien (sorry--"undocumented worker) and receive a "pass", maybe it's time to undocument ourselves from the federal "voluntary" tax system.

The bad news: You can download BOT's and program them to spout any nonsense you want.

Elite Governance
What we think that we are now being governed by is the class that has done nothing for this country. In fact, nothing has changed. Obama is in the banks' pockets as evidenced by his insistence on the TARP Reform bill, his $700,000 from Fannie Mae, and the banks' contribution to his inauguration.

Hey Austin
I agree with Scarlettsnow. What do you propose?

Something is wrong. Something is very, very, wrong. C'mon austin....,what do we do?

I dissent!
Count me in on the backlash. Scum sucking pretentious fools.

And NO, I do NOT think Gaither is a nice man, insofar as he would enforce tax laws against ordinary folks while taking a pass on his own.

Let them eat CAKE!

One of them
It amazes me that so many average Americans believe Obama is "one of them". Obama was the beneficiary of affirmative action, got a sinecure as editor of Harvard Law Review.

Obama refuses to release personal info such as medical records or college transcripts. He won't even release his birth certificate.

Yet he acts as though he was "one of the guys". That's what it really is: an act. Obama is an elitist, a member of the American ruling class that includes the Kennedy's and the Bush's.

Obama has no business as our "leader". He's the biggest phony to sit in the White House since Slick Willie Clinton.

Yoshi & Hal
Intellectually deficient individuals will never understand how the political termites such as Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, Barney Franks, Christopher Dodd, Franklin Raines, Bernie Madoff etc etc are eroding the constitutional structure of this great nation.

Gov. Palin & Gov. Jindal (LA) have put in some of the toughest ethics legislation in the country. They are less concerned about the opinions of external (to USA) media and populations. They have more integrity than all the elitists put together. If you want to read what true intellectuals (outside USA) think read the following:

The Gay Coalition of Hatred
President Obama and the third Clinton administration is the gay coalition of hatred. Bigotry, racism, prejudice, racial profiling, supremacy, race baiting and other acts of domestic terror all accompany the liberals.

FUNNY
RON JONES
Thanks for the kind words"DELUSIONAL" I think your POPINJAY word was pretty amusing. PRESIDENT LINCOLN was refering to the reality of secession and the inauguration of JEFFERSON DAVIS to the confederacy prior to LINCOLNS inaugural address. He was upholding the constitution and what the all states had agreed upon.TENNESSE became a state in 1796, the 16th state adopting the constitution. I guess the context around the whole section of the speech or the real meaning was not necessary, but ones own interpretation of said quote. We all know the legal system works for the rich and powerful. The governed, properly educated can change the personnel in Washington. Yes they would have to win by large margians or somebody would buy the election instead of being rapscallion towards people with ideas, focus on the people in power. Anarchism just leads to Anarchy, so speak the truth or make your peace some other way.

I GUESS
Since the Newly Selected is still not legally qualified to be the Prez but everyone kind of want to call him the POTUS, what are we to do?

Does it not sound a bit unserious to be called Mr...Ummmm..Ah...President, I Guess?, Com'on! We are a nation at war, the most powerful country in the world and our President's name is "I Guess".

We got to do better, next time. I guess.

Our Founders Were Not Elitists
Yoshi said: "They expected elitists to run the government. The original "backlash" were from elitists. The majority of commoners supported the crown. If the revolution were today Austin Hill would be writing articles on how great King George was.

@voteright
Palin is as corrupt as Biden. But she is worse the Biden as she is purposely ignorant of the world. That is the worse type of politician and person. "

The intent of our Constitution's writers was that common citizens would volunteer their service to the country and at the end of their terms would go back to their ordinary work. This is not an elitist intent, but in fact the opposite.

The Left hates Sarah Palin because she is not corrupt, and they fear her because she epitomizes the Great American Dream, that of starting out with nothing and working hard to obtain an education and then working through your community to attain whatever heights of success you can. She is a shining example to all little girls of what they can achieve if they are true to their faith, their values and their ethics.

Sarah Palin is exactly the kind of person we want leading our country. The corrupt MSM and the Democrats who lead them are the dregs of our society and hope to turn the whole country into their slaves. They worship the fraud that they call President Obama, regardless of his lack of honor, refusal to prove his citizenship, and his extreme lack of experience necessary for the job they bought for him. I hope the MSM is exposed as incompetent and corrupt at the same time Obama/Soetoro is.

ELITIST HYPOCRISY

Well educated, etc.
Mr. Hill wrote:
"He appears to be an extremely well educated, talented, and accomplished man."

So is Bernard Madoff. With his talent he accomplished quite a bit (measured in terms of dollars).

The U.S. Senate is being asked to give Mr. Geithner sole discretion on how to spend, at the very least, $350 billion, along with the ability to affect a $14+ trillion ecomomy.

President Pig ????
Dear "PLANTING GROUND" :

LOWERING YOURSELF TO DEFILING OUR PRESIDENT------DOES AMERICA, ( OR YOU), NO GOOD. COME UP WITH IDEAS------NOT "HATE-SPEAK".

HARVEY " JAKE " JACOBSON, ESQ.

Rulers
There is more truth to that term than we the people are willing to admit. In case after case, abortion, illegal immigration, domestic oil production, the people stand in significant majority on these issues. But time after time, the government "overRULES" us and implements policies that are detrimental to the public good.

If I had an immediate solution I would offer it but at this time I do not. A good first step however is to fire this rapidly forming dictatorial oligarchy and start again from the scratch.

What next ???
Obama is setting America up for Regulations, and Socialism------with no real system to watch those in government-------as they "rob us blind". ( and use "earmarks" to get re-elected)

He is telling us all the negatives about our economy, so that any improvement, caused by him----will make him look great.

We are weakening our defenses against Islamo-Fascism, by strengthening the enemy with the
" velvet glove " treatment of them. (YES, Lincoln did suspend Habeus Corpus, during the Civil War)

The liberal media is trying to control our minds------and is winning. Obama wants consevative opinions eliminated.

What next ? Harvey Jake" Jacobson, Esq.

pigs
President Pig fully intends to destroy our country as a representational republic. Unfortunately, as a result of Republican incompetence and fiscal irresponsibility, which ushered in the new era of Democrat tyrrany, it looks like he may well succeed.

Joseph: Big O & Lincoln's Quote
If we're going to go comparing Odinga's cousin & the butcher of Springfield, Let's not forget this little gem from Lincoln's first inaugural...

"...The power confided to me will be used to hold, occupy, and possess the property and places belonging to the Government and to collect the duties and imposts; but beyond what may be necessary for these objects, there will be no invasion, no using of force against or among the people anywhere."

In other words, "you will pay the taxes we want you to pay, or we will invade you and force you to pay."

Obama threw down the gauntlet and urinated on the republican's to mark his servants when he recently said his view on taxes was the right view because "I won."

Arrogant Governance?
Fascism disguised as governance: The time honored way voters show their dissatisfaction: Run the pretender out on a rail! The sooner it happens, the less damage to the nation AND our freedoms.

Conservatives (the real kind): Keepers of freedom and the precepts of the Constitution while practicing prudent behaviors in their personal affairs and demanding the same from their political leadership in their public renderings…especially regarding the Nation’s security and the economy.

Re: scarlettsnow
The same question I and some of my friends have been asking lately, are Americans capable of a backlash anymore? Just a decade or two ago, most definitely, but today, with 24/7 left-wing media fawning over the bi-racial, boy-king and with public schools run by limp-wristed liberals who have brainwashed kids with their "glo-baloney" nonsense, I rather doubt it.

Young people today are taught not to take pride in their own country and it's tradition of independence and sovereignty. They've been taught to worship globalism, "multi-lateral" concessions, non-violent conflict resolution, big government nanny state, etc.

Call it the "Oprah-zation" of American politics and Oprah's boy Barry has won. Barry is nothing but a marketing strategy, nothing more.

He's an empty suit with no experience but a head full of academic, Marxist theories about "social justice" which is code for spreading the wealth around - to his favorite Democrat constituencies, i.e., big city governments, blacks, "immigrants" (really illegal alien Latinos), feminist groups, pacifists, faggy boys who like to play dress up, etc. Liberal Democrats all.

Joseph
"I would encourage the brilliant people of the HERITAGE FOUNDATION or HUMAN EVENTS or whomever to start a PETITION effort to add an AMENDMENT to limit CONGRESSIONAL members and SENATORS to term limits, like the PRESIDENT."

Is THAT your answer?...a petition?

If you think facing down tyranny with a copy of that scrap of toilet paper you call a 'constitution' in one hand, and John Locke in the other...arguing against the legality of the leviathan state will accomplish anything (save from getting you laughed out the courtroom)...
...
...You're delusional.

The time for legal argument against the power of a tyrannical national authority has long ago passed.

When "conservatives" accepted the idea of federal funding even in principle for ANY reason, they submitted to the modern state, and embraced big brother.

I will not
do what the democrats did to Bush in that they didn't just disagree with his policies and decisions.
They wanted to destroy his character and his presidency. I will not call names and carry signs to kill him. But I will do all I can to defy his socialist redistributist tendency's. I will shout out at measures endangering out safety and undermining the policies that have made this country great. I chafe at the sanctimonious decision not to torture terorists but the new regulations promoting greater killing of fetuses.

How can I join the backlash?
There is nothing I would rather do than end Obama's leftist nonsense and get those Democrat idiots out of power.
What do you propose, Austin Hill?
Where is the fight against socialism?

Old Tom Location: TN Reply # 30 Date: J
The only hope and prayers that I have is "The One" falls flat on his elitist face and the evils of this reign are open for all to see.

I AGREE!!!!!!!!!!!
zerO HAS TO GO!!!

All Hail....
King Barry the First, most benevolent ruler of our great republic! May he rule his subjects with a firm and just hand. May Queen Michelle the First rain down her blessings on the unruly mob that are her subjects. We are not worth to gaze upon them. Now that is change we can all believe in....

Are Americans capable
of an Obama Backlash? Those idiot voters who put zerO in office out of some stupid misplaced sentimental "progressive" (socialist, collective) crap?

Americans better wake up and stop giving zerO his "baby blankie" acceptance and STOP the mantra of "give him a chance."

Obama is a Chicago thug - an arrogant socialist who does not have the good of the USA at heart.
His policies are anathema to our Constitution and traditions.
Obama's recent strong-arming of Republicans based on zerO's idea that he "won" and, therefore, Republicans should sit back and agree with him in order to get "things done" is
absurd! So like a spoiled child who rants until he gets what he wants.

The "I won" comment came after Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Va., said Republicans believed cutting income taxed would do more to stimulate economic growth than providing a $500 per person payroll tax refund for individuals earning less than $200,000. The president said, according to those present, that this was an important philosophical divide between Republican and Democrats and that it had already been settled -- and would remain settled -- because he won the election. zerO thinks his position is one of dictatorship!

President Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill today that they need to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration.

Republicans better STAND UP and FIGHT for REPUBLICAN principles against Obama. His "winning" doesn't give him the right to threaten Mafia-Chicago thug politics.

Cutting taxes IS the ONLY way to stimulate this economy and protect it from socialism.

We do NOT want zerO's leftist policies to work and we resent his arrogance and obnoxiousness. The man has done NOTHING for the USA except take. STAND UP, Americans, before you lose our country!

Bad all the way around
I am so sorry the stupid people put BO in office. The stink is starting to stink more and to bad for the ignorant people who put the BO in.

Besides all that
Did you ever wonder why Obama's approval rating is so high? First, that rating is definitely false and is skewed to the left libtards delight. I would like to find out the background of the opinion takers and how they came about this statistic.

You are so right
Having been the dyspraxic son of a phd in education I have seen the eliteist view born out. I got to attend a private a school for two years and I knew even at public schools that there was at a time a slightly different code of behavior for me since she was an administrator. I will actually thank an Assistant Principal at Denton Ryan who asked me for a hall pass while I went to do a photo shoot for yearbook. May God bless the man he did his job. I had the pass ofcourse I was legitely in the halls enroute to do work concurrent with the class yet I was held to the same standard other students were.

I have also come to realize that BA and Phd are not indicators of intellect, common sense or drive.

Hugh Hewitt pointed out the IMF gives a stipend specificially for the purpose of paying social security and other taxes....Obama's nominee for secretary of treasury.

Robert Reich in his testimony about white male construction workers showed he is woefully ignornat about even the realities of construction here in South Texas. The joke at the job site what do you call a white house framer in San Antonio....unemployed! I have seen crews hang trusses and frame out a house displaying agility and skill. I have also seen an oak stairwell get installed slowly but with pain staking detail as a man who meticulously measured four times and cut twice the first cut being a bit short of the goal the second cut taking time to trim the tread into place.

Academia does not have the answers nor at times does it contain great wisdom. WHen it ignores old wisdom it fails. This nation was made great by lex rex or the rule of law the same standards apply to everybody. What I have seen by liberal media and the Barak Obama administration is an assualt on that from the moment an undersecretary of defense got nominated despite the fact he lobbied (this after the no lobbying executive order got pushed through) to the tax cheat secretary of treasury.

Re: Kudos!!
Yesiree, this is the gov. of poverty alright where the elitist Dems will do everything to stay in power by putting out there this pork legislation that contains all kinds of CRAP!!!
Money for abortions overseas for crying out loud!!! Come on, this is all a ruse also to blame the risitence that Glowbama is having over his pink elephant bill on Rush Limbuagh!!!
This is divertion from the real facts that this bill is loaded with CRAP to fund all kinds of stupid projects!!!! He just does not get it BIG GOV. DOES NOT WORK AND THIS GUY DOES NOT STUDY HISTORY AT ALL!!!!

There is a solution . . .
A message could be sent by instituting a "Night of the Long Knives". If half of the "pigs" (yes this includes the MSM) were to be liquidated, the rest of the pigs at the trough would get the message. This could be implemented by careful observation of each pig over a period of time. Absolute trust in each other as well as the need to "weed out" infiltrators and agents would be required.
Looking back through history, "royalty" could only get away with so much before the "serfs" rebelled. (That is why most royals prohibited the "serfs" from possessing weapons).
When the government tells you that you don't need your weapons, that is when you really need them.

Of Course
It is only natural that our ruling elite feel they were born with spurs on their heels, and we were born with saddles on our backs. Can you blame them?

We put them in power even after we've seen their corruption and incompetence. We've admitted that we are unable and unwilling to car for ourselves, that we no longer want our freedoms to compete on our own, and that only they can sustain us.

Millions of Americans flocked to their Messiah and worshipping at His feet. They weep at His words and His image. All this they did before he had accomplished a single miracle.

When you submit to someone and proclaim your inferiority, you will only get his contempt. And rightly so. There is nothing lower on this earth than a slave and there is only one way to govern slaves - tyranny.

Slaves are ill-suited for the rigors of freedom. We know that from our own history. In some ways it was a mistake to free them immediately and before they could have been properly groomed for self governance.

Americans today have voluntarily opted for servility and it is only right to govern them strictly. Since we've confessed our inability to handle freedom, our ruling elites are justified in controlling us while at the same time feeding us and curing our illnesses.

And our leaders are due some leeway that we are not. RHIP - Rank Hath Its Privileges. It's always been that way. There's nothing here to be alarmed about.

Slaves should keep their mouths shut. They're been kept alive. That's all they deserve.

CHANGE NEEDED BY THE GOVERNED
THE CHANGE WE REALLY NEED!!

THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENCE spells it out perfectly,”GOVERNMENTS ARE INSTITUTED AMONG MEN,DERIVING THEIR JUST POWERS FROM THE CONSENT OF THE GOVERNED, THAT WHENEVER ANY FORM OF GOVERNMENT BECOMES DESTRUCTIVE OF THESE ENDS,IT IS THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO ALTER OR TO ABOLISH IT,AND TO INSTITUTE NEW GOVERNMENT”. Most people who are willing to invest time in learning about our country and the past , and not repeating mistakes from the past, KEYNESIANS economic policies, to name one. Some would agree that most of our politicians of today, not like our founding fathers who really cared about our country, are more concerned about their wealth and power than the American people.
I would encourage the brilliant people of the HERITAGE FOUNDATION or HUMAN EVENTS or whomever to start a PETITION effort to add an AMENDMENT to limit CONGRESSIONAL members and SENATORS to term limits, like the PRESIDENT. Remember absolute power corrupts. Its amazing how one PRESIDENT can in a short period of time ,will convolute the real meanings of the CONSTITUTION . Think about POLITICIANS being there for many terms, decades. There bad ideas bring bad policies, like now. I know some would say, bad idea, impossible to achieve, but if you were dying or a loved one, wouldn’t try anything to save your life or their life. I believe our CONSTITUTION and our country is worth saving from BP disease. BP disease as I call it is, BAD PEOPLE, BAD POLITICS, BAD POLICIES, this disease needs to be stopped. This amendment is change we can believe in, not change for the sake of change or a bumper sticker says so.

Dr.Douglas
Satire, I hope. Maybe not. I know people like you.

Democrats are the party that create and perpetuate poverty, so in a way they are the party of the poor. The promotion of gov't dependence always leads to the exascerbation and creation of new poverty. What has changed since the war on poverty was launched in earnest in the late 60's early 70's? There are more severe and wider spread social problems, the education system is in shambles, corrections is bloated and ineffective, mental health systems are to be avoided, and there are daycare centers in many school districts for middle schoolers babies. There is alot more dependence and increased debauchery, period.

Contrast: Our politicians are more plentiful, less accountable, and always wealthy at taxpayer expense. There spouses (with no credentials) come along and grab no-show, high paying Director and CEO roles all the time in fields like mine. If you don't hate this, you are out of what little mind you may possess. People like you are the enemy to the poor and the hardworking- you are one of the jailers.

Our entitlement death spiral
Unless enough of us take a stand NOW and reverse the course that was set when The One was elected by the ignorant masses...here is the future facing us, our children and their children...

Mother Government will grow...and grow..and grow. To do so, it will take more and more of the income of those who still work as taxes. As that becomes insufficient to feed the hungry and ever-growing beast, the Mother Government will confiscate your 401K and IRA money and give you a promissory note in return (worthless, of course)...Nancy Pelosi and her gang, under George Miller (CA), are already plotting to do that. Also, Mother Government will seize all inheritances...no longer will the wealth you accumulate over your lifetime go to your children upon your death, it will go to the Mother Government who "takes care of them". Eventually, people will see that all of their wealth is gone and their living standards are diminished more and more, day by day. "Free" government health care will become shoddy and there will be food shortages. The old will be allowed to die to prevent "wasting" health care and resources on them. Eventually, the productive minority will realize that it is pointless to continuing working, just to have the fruits of their labor confiscated and redistributed to those who do not produce; then the productive minority will give up and stop working too. At that point, Mother Government will "own" everything but have nothing to redistribute. We will have become "New Africa", from whence cometh Barack, "The One Who Shall Not Be Questioned or Defied", to lead us into oblivion. Once there, you who remain will have to choose to live in impoverished slavery to Mother Government or rise up, throw off the shackles of the very Mother Government you wanted, and start rebuilding the America for which our Founding Fathers fought and died to establish two centuries ago. You choose...

BHO SKIPPED THIS LINCOLN QUOTE
"I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country; corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption in High Places will follow, and the Money Power of the Country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the People, until the wealth is aggregated in a few hands, and the Republic is destroyed."Abraham LincolnSource:http://quotes.liberty-tree.ca/quote_blog/Abraham.Lincoln.Quote.4F97 I pray that this does not happen to our country. Presidnet Lincoln believed that it was possible. I hope that there was a lot of time spent on over site of this program and no one person should have absolute power. Basically how we got to this point is not important at this time, but how we can fix this mess for the long term is important. We cannot escape our history even if it is in honor or dishonor. The trail through which we pass will light us down to the latest generation good or bad. Sincerley JOE

Small businesses in NJ
are regularly cavity searched for any "wealth" they may have and be witholding. Kids with working parents regularly report what sounds like IRS raids. Missed signatures on a paper in 2001 and a therefore nullified S corporation in 2008- oops! Thousands of dollars are "owed". There are countless missed "fees" and the penalties that accompany those fees. Payroll taxes missed by people who don't even have a payroll. Anyone trying to earn an honest living who cannot afford legal protection (it costs more to defend yourself) is a target in NJ.

Its not like the 70's Carter fiasco, though. There are now too many gov't dependents, too many miseducated/indoctrinated, and too many business prohibitive policies in place to pull out of this. Its as if we are all being forced into gov't dependence and ultimately poverty.

"Dr." Douglass

Having witnessed your Townhall comments for several weeks, it is now clear to me how it is that some people enter "therapy" with the hopes of getting some short term help dealing with mental/emotional disorders, but end up stuck in "therapy" for a lifetime.

I feel genuine sorrow for the clients who have had the poor luck of encountering someone so clearly out of touch with the real world - and for anyone who might be supplementing your existence through healthcare insurance premium payments.

Government by lawyers....
We now have a government by the lawyers, of the lawyers and for the lawyers.

And the biggest lawyer of them all is Barry Dunham - the consummate lawyer, with no real world experience, no private sector work experience.

A academic, quasi-socalist in the White House. Nice, real nice.

Amnesty and "universal" healthcare
Amnesty and "universal" healthcare coming as the Redistributer in chief gets his paws into our live's, 24/7, like any good leftist socialist longs to do.

The limp-wristed Dems have won. They have control of the schools, the media/show business, therefore they control young minds and have conditioned those young minds to want more and more government.

Trash
There are many more examples. Barney Frank lived in a wh***house. Charlie Rangel doesn't pay his taxes. Jessie Jackson runs a protection racket. Bill Clinton messes with young girls and lies to grand juries. Sandy Berger steals classified documents to cover official misconduct. Ted Kennedy killed a girl. Hillary Clinton is ethically compromised and was responsible for the personal destruction of her enemies. Various sundry and assorted Democrats and Republicans mess with little girls and boys, cheat on taxes, lie to the public, and break the law to suit their own purposes. Obama lectures the public about 'sacrifice' while cutting sweet deals in order to feather his own nest. Most of these people squawk about 'human rights' while advocating murder. These politicians are all the same: dirty, degenerate, and corrupt. Why do we refer to them as 'elite' when they are merely trash? Isn't it time to get rid of everyone of them?

A Dr. but can't read......
....and comprehend? Actually from my experiences with doctors, that makes sense. I went in to have an operation performed on my right ear and the genius doctor operated on my left ear. Anyway, that has nothing to do with this article. I did want to point out to "Dr Douglas" that the author clearly feels ALL Washington D. C. politicians are elitist. I agree with the author. You claim democrats "have always been the party of the poor and middle class." How many democratic senators or congressmen are poor and/or middle class? The only concern any politician has now days is getting re-elected and getting rich. The only difference between the republicans and democrats in D.C. is the dems are more transparent about their socialistic desires. The reps will tell you they believe in conservatism and turn right around and present and promote anything but conservative ideas.

Dr Douglas
When was the last time you forgot to pay your taxes. Try it this year and see how forgiving Mr. Geitner will be to you.

Geitner?
Yes it is truly becoming "do as I say, not do as I do". First you have Hillary telling Congress to go take a hike Bill and I will do things as we please. There won't be any conflict of interest there. Now we will have Timothy Geitner as the Secretary of the Treasury to tell you to be sure to pay your taxes on a timely basis. Is that within 10 to 12 years or just when I'm going to be placed in charge of collecting them from the commoners? Change, yes we are changing back to the Clinton administration. Transparency, yes it's very transparent that it will truly be business as usual. God Bless America.

Republicans are the elitists

This article is pure hateful nonsense, as usual. Trying to frame the democrats (liberals) as "elitist", when they have and always have been the party of the poor and middle class, is utterly dishonest. What utter hypocrisy.

As for the backlash, this is what conservatives (i.e., reactionaries) have always been about. You are still reacting to Viet Nam, to the dirty hippies, to the terrible Clinton, and now of course to Obama (one week into his presidency!). That's all you guys know how to do: to react, in a backlash of victimhood.

Backlash? You think so huh...Right!
The founders pledged "their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor" to risk the possibility that they might succeed winning freedom for themselves and their states.

Are you willing to risk being labeled a "traitor to your country?" for that is surely what you would become, in every sense of the word. Never forget that according to any definition, the signers of the declaration, and every man who bore arms against King George was a traitor.

Are you willing to becoming a criminal for your acts of rebellion? Yes, rebellion, not just dissidence.

Worst of all, are you willing to risk being labeled a "Terrorist?" That word makes people stand up and 'do what everyone else is doing' almost as quickly as the word "Racist" (americans are nothing, if not conditioned).

Most people are too cowardly to risk losing their drivers license...much less their job, their home, their 401k, their IRA, and any meaningful future.

Will YOU risk your lives, your fortunes, and your sacred honor on the small chance that you will succeed in making a free nation for your children to call home?

Or are you going to continue to come to Townhall and whine & complain about Obama, taxes, "socialism" and economics...while enjoying the fruits of your neigbors labor, just long enough to vent until the kids get home. Then go into the family room and watch the ball game?

Sadly, the "conservatives" will not admit that since Taft lost the primary to Eisenhower...they've been had. Suckers, 'useful idiots' for big-government elites.

At least Buckley was honest about his intentions. He called for a "totalitarian bureaucracy" to defeat communism.

If that's not big government and centralized control, I don't know what is.

We got Obama because that's what the marxist media and the guv'mint chillun wanted.

The ignorant masses who can name every contestant on American Idol, but don't know whtat the 9th & 10th Amendment mean...All they care about is violent sports, recreational drugs, and their next s3xual encounter. They get what they have always wanted...SERFDOM.

Bush was not an Elite?
He did not hire elites?
he did not promote elites?
Bush was the most elitest President ever.
Paulson was/is a bigger crook than Geitner.
It was under Bush's watch that the treasury ran wild, the Banks ran wild and wall street ran wild. It was under Bush the poor got poorer and the Rich got richer.
Obama is going to suck big time, but NeoCons are worse because you pretend to be different but just as left.

godbless
each and every conservative who sees through the utter garbage that has plagued our nation. Rush Limbaugh had a point, he wants the president to fail so America can succeed.

ROWDY BOOTS

Double Standard in Effect

Sorry folks, the MSM has self-destroyed their role as credible watchdog. So deeply in the tank that they cannot cover Caroline Kennedy's egomania and personal corruption while hammering Sarah Palin with the same regularity as the sports report. It will be up to true patriots in the mold of Thomas Paine to speak "Truth to Power" this time......ironic, ain't it?

some good examples
The character "Archie Bunker" -- while ignorant -- was not a malicious bigot. He had a limited understanding of many groups and frequently came to simplistic views of groups and people. President Obama has had the best in education and has been exposed to travel to much of the world. Obama's view of "typical white people" along with excusing historical revisionism of Jeremiah Wright -- is the mark of an intentional bigot. History does not matter -- Obama took his children to a church where Wright would rant about "white people" and even "garlic nosed Italians" -- while at the same time he knew his mother's ancestry -- which included multiple white slaveholders. Obama believes that by virtue of his color, he has the right to look down on any person with "white" skin because they are "oppressors" -- it matters not what their ancestry is -- or where they came from. All who have white skin are collectively guilty.
Robert Reich's view on the construction industry is similarly bigoted. Reich believes that any "idiot" can perform construction work -- so we should have fixed quotas to ensure that women and minorities will fill those positions. I wonder if Reich ever did a day of labor in his life? Many working class people learn construction and building as children -- they learn from their father. By the time they are 18 years old, many can build a house or re-build a car engine. I doubt Reich has ever even changed oil in a car let alone operated heavy equipment. Obama and Reich should consider moving to Zimbabwe since it is a model of making sure there is an equality of results. Take farms from whites who understood how agriculture works and give them to blacks because of what they "look like" -- so what if everyone now is starving (20 years ago, they were a large exporter of food). Anyone can build a dam or a bridge -- I am sure Obama and Reich would be great construction workers.

Backlash is an understatement…
Backlash is an understatement…a “NEW REVOLUTION” is more like it. I for one, and I am sure a majority of others do not like our “elitist rulers” nor the way they rule. They can never seem to get it “right”; yet they can always do the politically correct thing and never be accountable for it. They exempt themselves from the very laws they expect we the people to live by. They give themselves pay raises, when they already make more than three times the medium income of we the people; while spending far less time on the job than we the people. They only listen and pander to small special interest groups, and a deaf ear to we the people. It is past time that “We the People” take our government back.

Obama surely can “talk the talk”, but fails to “walk the walk”. Obama reminds me of others throughout history, with their ability to so quietly and enchantingly say one thing, mean and do another; and people will shake their heads in approval of the very things they oppose. What is amazing is they believe they have agreed with him. What is very scary is that history has also proven repeatedly; that those willing to agree without questioning are the first to die by the millions.

It seems that every national election we have had in the last several decades has been described as the most important election in the history of America. And of course, they've all been important, but coming right down to it, I sincerely believe that the '08 election will be what decides whether America maintains its place in the world as the most powerful, progressive and benevolent nation history has ever known; or whether we will be relegated to a back seat in a world community capable of producing economic giants in a few short years.

Backlash coming?
There won't be enough of us backlashing to have any effect. Once the Dems get the millions of illegal immigrants voting (and open the border to millions more), along with all the single women who want to be "taken care of," and all the young people who have been brainwashed into liberalism by the school system and colleges, the Democrats will be assured power for a century, and we who disagree with The One and his evil ilk will be too small a group to have any say in the matter.

Conservatives may have to stage another American Revolution, clear the slate, take up the Constitution anew and start over somewhere.

Hope and prayers
The only hope and prayers that I have is "The One" falls flat on his elitist face and the evils of this reign are open for all to see.
He's not my president and I give no support other what i'm required to by law nor do I support the evils of his and the Demoncrta's platform.
We're in for difficult times ahead, much more than the evil one alludes to.
Abortions, Gay and Lesbian issues, high taxation with little reward, stupid "recovery" that didn't work when they were tried years ago, destruction of our economy and morals, submitting to the whims of the UN and other countries who wish to destroy us and energy policies that simply don't and will not work.
The next thing you'll hear will be that AL Gore is going to do an energy usage evaluation of all the government buildings in America.
Global Warming you know.

Big backlash coming....
It's going to be lovely, folks. This may be the shortest presidency in history.

backlash...
like (pre?) colonial America, i hope and pray for a backlash... do you think... one is coming? we should not stand for this nonsense. Like Nehemiah, a trowel in one hand and a sword in the other...... Bring it on...

Hop
When our new president was elected, I told my kids that we needed to pray and pray every day.I want our new president to succeed, for if he fails America will fail. Watching the people he has chosen to help him in his admistration is showing us that change seems to mean back to the Clintons admistration.I will still pray every day,but I am becoming less and less hopeful.

Surprised?
The only thing surprising about this "do as I say..." is that anyone is surprised.
