Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

“There is no difference between Clinton and Obama and that’s in sharp contrast with John McCain who is advocating the same old, same old,” said McGovern.

Republican National Committee Spokesman Danny Diaz dismissed McGovern's assessnment. "The choice in this election will be clear: leave Iraq to genocide and catastrophe or ensure our nation achieves victory," Diaz said in a statement.

WWW also sought to link economic struggles to war costs. Rep. Maurice Hinchey (D.-N.Y.) said the rising cost of oil and dropping value of the dollar are “in part because of the consequences in which this president has corruptly engaged in the military occupation of Iraq.”

Hinchey has endorsed Clinton for president.

Dems are the king of anti war.
I think that if the left goes with it's anti war mantra they might get beat at the ballet box. While the war in Iraq is unpopular, not a lot of people want to just surrender.

As a veteran and Republican I can say with all honesty I am not "pro war". What I do realize is that sometimes we must fight wars to protect our vital intrests. The WWW folks live in a fairytale land where everyone gets along and there are no "bad" people out there. This country tried to win without war since the terrorist attack during the 72 Olympics and it has gotten us nowhere. War and use of force is the only thing these people know and besides it works. Look at what the Israelies have given up to stop the rocket attacks and terror only to go back to the table and give up more. Pavlov's dog understood what works why can't pacifists? At some point the gloves are going to have to come off if we are to survive. The alternative doesn't bear consideration. It's victory or death no other alternatives.

I don't understand how we could surrender and to whom? AQ will be sad if we leave, nothing has given their evil cause better propaganda, and allowed them to come back from near annihilation in Afghanistan. The very idea that our troops would somehow be losers if they couldn't bring democracy, by force, to Iraq is bizarre. Our troops have done their job, and done it well, there is nothing left for them to do in that quagmire.
