Do you feel the leaked information from a global warming alarmist organization is meaningful?

Republican presidential candidate John McCain called on his Democratic rival Barack Obama to apologize for having a relationship with domestic terrorist William Ayers in a conference call with bloggers Friday.

McCain said Obama should give “not only repudiation, but an apology for ever having anything to do with an unrepentant terrorist is due to the American people.”

McCain blasted Obama for comparing Ayers to Sen. Tom Coburn (R.-Okla.) in a nationally televised debate. “I am a bit surprised there has not been more discussion about the comparison Senator Obama made about an unrepentant terrorist, because that is what Mr. Ayers is, and a great American citizen who goes back on the weekends to deliver babies and bring life as opposed to someone involved in an organization who took life through bombings.”

“I am offended by a comparison like that,” McCain said.

Obama’s relationship with Ayers, a former member of the Weatherman terrorist group responsible for the bombings of federal buildings in the 1960’s, has been called into question by many of his critics. The Obama campaign recently said they were “friendly” with Ayers.

When asked about Ayers in an ABC News debate last week Obama said he was “a guy who lives in my neighborhood” and suggested he was an extremist in the same way Coburn, a reliable conservative, is viewed by some people. News outlets have found Ayers hosted a campaign event for Obama in the past as well as spoken on different panels together at political events.

While McCain blasted Obama for being “friendly” with Ayers, the Arizona senator reissued his call for the North Carolina Republican Party to pull an ad linking Obama to his longtime friend and Pastor Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

“This ad is offensive to some and I think it should be taken down,” McCain said. Critics have said the ad, which discusses Obama’s voting record on crime and features clips from some of Wright’s controversial sermons, is racist.

The North Carolina GOP is defying McCain by standing by the ad. It is available on the internet now and will begin airing in North Carolina next week and through the run-up to the state’s May 6 primary.

McCain ends his “Time for Action” tour with stops in Arkansas and Oklahoma Friday. His former rival Mike Huckabee is scheduled to campaign with McCain for the entire day.

“To say the least [these areas] have not been part of the American dream,” McCain said. “Washington is out of touch with the needs and hopes and aspirations.”

McCain said along his tour he’s been greeted by “warmth and affection probably in a way I have never experienced.”

McCain Blasts Obama/Ayers...........
Well it is about time we stand up to these free living peoples that hate this nation and the way we do things.
It is about time that they are to be listed as they are, non Americans of Non-Gratis standings. Peoples not to be supported, tollerated or befriended.
If they hate this country so much why do they stay here? Well its free speech and forgiving laws are one. We treat terrorists better than we do people that are hungry and rob a liquor store.
We treat terrorist better than Aids patients and Gays.
What is wrong with the country is what is wrong with our society. We give freedoms to our enemies.

The Angle is Education.
Obama deflected question about Ayers saying he was six, however, Ayers is a well known advocate of teaching Marx in schools, even math class. Obama had responsibility for education on both state and national level. He had a responsibiity to know that Ayers is one of the 100 most dangerous professors in America, according to Horowitz and his book, The Professors.

McCain, Clinton, Obama?

This is what we have? Our only choices?

No, there are other parties out there. Time to jump ship and look elsewhere.

I will not vote for any of them and will not vote for the lesser of two evils again. Never again.

Senator McCain--the moral "high ground"
Someone should talk to Sen McCain about his "moral higround" approach to the campaign...The Republicans are going to need all the help they can get. Before the primaries, I felt whomever the democrats nominated would be a "shoe-in"!! I didn't count on the trashing of Clinton and Osama shooting himself in the foot.. Osama's associations do relect negatively on his decision making ability and should be constantly brought forward. While Sen McCain maybe should not make an issue of it himself...he should not chide his own "supporters" for doing so. You can bet the dems will throw all they can dream up at him!!

Joy
Obama evidently thought he could keep all this 'under the radar'.So much for his thought process.Or he may have thought he could 'smooze'his lemmings and explain it away.

I am thankful the process has lasted long enough that some of his far-left dealings have surfaced.Thare will be more to come,I suspect.

Obama and William Ayers
Obviously you did not pay attention when Obama was asked about his relationship with Wm Ayers. He stated "I DON'T ALWAYS TAKE HIS ADVICE", well taking ANY ADVICE from WM Ayers is one to many.

Obama talks out of both sides of his mouth and look at the trouble he gets in. If anyone would really listen to what he says they would run like hell away from him.

Democrats Stronger on Border?
Those of you critisizing McCain about amnesty, what will the democrats do about the borders or about illegal aliens? As weak as McCain is, he's tougher than Hillary or Obama.

Let's pay attention at the local level to get as many conservatives in; we're going to need a strong line of defense against whoever is elected. That's the bottom line.

This is the funniest article today.
McCain waits until Hillary beats up Obama, then jumps on him to claim victory.

No wonder he broke in less than 5 days without torture and because of a bruise on his knee and gave up all our flight plans, bombing runs and targets of interests, to include pilots names. Called America the murderer of woman and children, in over 30+ propaganda films for the enemy. Also another tidbit, he weighed 40 pounds heavier than the other POW's, for his height, weight ratio when released.

Oh ya, he also had all his records sealed. I wonder why?

Ya, some hero.

McCain only attacks his friends
McCain is a disaster. Only he could snatch a defeat from the jaws of victory that Obama presents. His liberal instincts overwhelm any small dose of common sense he may have time after time. But maybe as weak as Obama is he can manage to beat the liberal messiah. In many ways we will be no better off but anything would be better than the alternative.
Today Obama supporter Al Sharpton indicated plans to shut down NYC because there was a jury verdict he does not like. His audience, also big Obama supporters no doubt, chanted "kill the police." Great, the transcendant and glorious candidate Barracks Obomber is having such a wonderful affect on his supporters morale. It's back to "burn baby burn!" I smell a weatherman wannabe in this candidate. Of course McCain would say I am dead wrong to say the foregoing and should just shut up. But he will just have to get used to maverick supporters like me.....

I wish
we would hear something about Bob Barr. don't know anything about him.

It might be a good idea at this time for Mitt Romney to run as an Independent. Think he would run off with the vote now that people know McCain, better.
***

Gee, golly,wiz;

Don't you realize that Mitt is a MORMON! No way can such an evil man be president. We need good solid citizen's like Obama, or Hillary or McCain to should us to the promised land.

This has got to be the most disheartening election I have ever experienced in my 77 years. We have had some bad actors in the White House, but any one of these three give me gas pains like I've never known before.

Surely, this people are capable of judging a candidate by more than whether or not Mitt changed his mind on the "right to abortion." He never said he was in favor, only that he had doubts about the rights of the woman. Too bad that no one judged Reagan on the same basis; I say too bad, but I mean Reagan's positives were no better than Mitt's.

I seriously doubt that McCain will select Mitt, but I can only pray that he will exercize good judgement in making the selection.

mccain obama clinton
MCCAIN IS SOUNDING SO WEAK HE'S EVEN HAVING REPUBLICANS THINK HILLARY NOW IS MORE CONSERVATIVE!! WOW! NOT A GOOD THING FOR MCCAIN TO HEAR!

OBAMA? HE THINKS HE HAS A JUMP SHOT BUT WE ALL KNOW "DEFENSE" WINS GAMES! U LIVE BY THE JUMPSHOT YOU DIE BY THE JUMPSHOT!! HILLARY HAS ALREADY BLOCKED HIS SHOT!!

WELL, WELL, WELL!! WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT HILLARY CLINTON WOULD BE THE BEST CANDADATE OUT THERE? NOT ME BUT....SHES NOW LOOKING LIKE THE FRONT RUNNER AND WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP INCREASING HER LEAD!!

OBAMA AND HIS SUPPORTERS DONT KNOW THIS YET BUT HE'S DONE! HE CAN THANK THE PERSON WHO HE USED TO GET WHERE HE'S AT AND BLAME THE SAME MAN FOR RUINING HIS CHANCES!! 2 WORDS "REVEREND WRIGHT"!!

YOU DONT THINK FOR ONE MOMENT "BUYERS REMORSE" HAS SET IN YET? LOL! I FEEL BAD FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO VOTED IN THE PRIMARYS FOR HIM AND HAD NO IDEA WHO THIS MAN WAS AND NOW REGRETS IT AND IS PULLING FOR CLINTON NOW BUT CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT SINCE THEIR STATE ALREADY VOTED!!

INDIANA GOES TO CLINTON!! ANYBODY OUT THERE THAT THINKS ANY DIFFERENT IS NOT PAYING ATTENTION!! SHE WILL WIN IT AND CONTINUE TO TURN THE TIDE UNTIL ALL POLLS SHOW SHES THE CANDADATE TO RUN UP AGAINST MCCAIN FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION....

SHE IS NOW AHEAD OF MCCAIN ANYWAY AS OF TODAY IF RUNNING AGAINST HIM IN THE GENREAL SO ITS FAIR TO SAY HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT!!

END OF STORY!! ONLY THING IS THIS IS NOT A STORY ITS WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN BUT HAPPEN IN DUE TIME SO NOT TO SEEM LIKE ELECTION WAS STOLEN BY HER OVER OBAMA!! GET IT????? ITS OVER!!

Juan Mc will actually say that because he was elected pres, that the American people want to give amnesty.

Either Hiltery or Bama would be an even more detestible pres than Bill. But hopefully, in two years a solid Repub congress will be elected to foil these cretins.

If Juan is elected, then we have a leftist pres with a leftist Congress.

I'm going to vote: for every other office, but not the pres; how do you vote between the three stooges?

So, you and Obama seem to think the same way about who one picks for friends.
I wonder if the two of you would take the same stance when it comes to your kids?

Just picture it:

"Gee Dad, I made some new friends! Sam deals drugs and Jimmy is in a gang and has shot a couple of people and Andy and his family are members of the KKK and Julie and her family go to the US Communist Party meetings every Sat. night. But it's o.k. Dad, I only hang out with these people, I don't condone anything they do. I repudiate what they do but don't tell me that if I show you the company I keep it will tell you anything about me."

Most likely a good father's reaction would be to tell their kid to straighten out and stay away from those people.
So, why is it o.k. that Obama has had these friends and mentors for over 20 yrs. and the libs and the media say it's all good?
Because Barry is their golden boy.
A good Marxist.

The Ayers as terrorists & now
An article titled, "Meet Mr. and Mrs. Ayres" is at the following site:
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId= 62481

Read the article and ask yourself if you would have any kind of relationship with either Bill Ayer or Bill’s wife, Bernadine Dohrn. Obama held his first organizational meeting for his campaign for the Illinois senate at Bill and Bernadine’s home in Chicago.

Here's a sample of what is revealed in the article: Following the mass murders of actress Sharon Tate and others by disciples of Charles Manson, Dohrn (Bill Ayer’s wife) had this to say: "Dig it. First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, and then they even shoved a fork into a victim's stomach! Wild!" Dohrn went on to suggest adopting a "fork" salute might be appropriate for her fellow homicidal maniacs.

Check out the audio excerpts below to hear how little the Ayers have changed since their days as domestic terrorists during their 20s, when they set off bombs at the Pentagon and many other places. The FBI used illegal wiretaps, so Bill was never prosecuted, even though Bill said he was “guilty as hell” and “free as a bird.

At the following site are “then” and “now” recordings made of the Ayers both during their terrorist years and in 2007: http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives2/2008/04/020362.php

What do the Ayers have to do with Obama’s qualifications to become president? At the very least the Ayers are one more example of how Obama has chosen to be involved with bad companions. Rev. Wright’s rage and racism against whites and Jews was bad enough, but at least Rev. Wright didn’t bomb the pentagon or other targets like the Ayers did. Obama claims he wants to be a unifier, but I don’t think the majority of Americans of any color want to be unified with domestic terrorists or racists. Perhaps Obama should start choosing his friends more carefully and try again in 4 years.

Mc Cain The Lefty !!!
John Mc Cain is playing to the Liberal left by repeating his actions of 2004 when he did everything in his power to silence the Swift Boat vets criticisim of John Kerrys phony War Hero tales.
Mc Cain is at it again trying to tell everyone else how to campaign and deciding who may speak out and who may not.
LAWriter I would advise you to check the records and see how many died in Vietnamn under 2 Democratic presidents named Kennedy, and Johnson.
Speaking of war hero's how come Mc Cain and other leading politician's issue numerous books an a yearly basis describing their acts of heroisim and they have their military records sealed so no one can dispute their version of these alledged acts ???
I understand Mc Cain doesn't want every journalist nosing through his military records on a so called Fishing Expedition but then Mc Cain opened the Pandoras Box with his semi annual book on his war heroics.

We were disenfranchised
It all has to do with your standards. When Bush ran for Pres. in 2000, I supported him because I knew of no evidence that he was a traitor or dishonest. I still think he is better than our three current choices. When McCain has harangued Christians for being outspoken, and attempted to force amnesty for illegals who often want to overthrow American government, I know he will do it again because he has not changed. His speeches have actually become MORE liberal, specifically that major address on a Carter-like foreign policy. That is only the start of my concern about McCain.

I think many miss the point, which is not about who is better among the three candidates, but about whether we even had a say in the matter in GETTING these three. Does it seem right that McCain could "knock out" all his opponents due to attention from the media and "momentum" from winning states? If you have money and look good in the polls and on TV, despite the prevalent injustice and distortions, you win a state. From there, the conservatives who get ignored lose from lack of publicity or attention. We must consider whom the media ignored: the true conservatives Thompson, Hunter, Keyes, and probably Tancredo. Ron Paul is a bit "different", but he also was heavily/largely ignored. He would be a better President than McCain. Those people who have not compromised should get our attention, and if we are essentially disenfranchised before half the states even vote, then we should not let this pass and accept it. We should fight.

We still can: http://www.petitiononline.com/JDAlvey1/petition.html

From the sublime to the ridiculous.

If Hillary's father rode a bus back and forth for twenty some odd years sitting next to the brother of the guy who assassinated President McKinley. Not only sat beside him,but paid his fare and gave him thousands of dollars,to boot, the authorities may want to find out if he had any connection with the murderer.

If McCain had an on-going relationship with those VC soldiers after he was released,we might want to see what kind of relationship they really had.He did no such thing.

See how ridiculous your analogy is.Geez.

i love it
I love this new game we’re playing this election cycle: basically, anytime someone says something improper, if that person came within a certain proximity to the candidate (say 30 feet) the candidate is imputed with either directly making the statement or, at least, supporting it.

Let me give this a try (tell me what you think)

Hillary Clinton’s father once sat on a bus next to the brother of the guy who assassinated President McKinley. Therefore (by implication), Hillary supported the assassination of President McKinley.

Or.

John Mccain was a POW in Vietnam for a long time, and by implication, was in very close contact to anti-American Vietnamese soldiers. In fact, Mccain spent more time, and was much closer (at least in terms of proximity) to these America-haters than Obama was to this Ayers fellow. Accordingly, Mccain must surely be anti-american.

Washington

“Washington is out of touch with the needs and hopes and aspirations.”

So now even the Republican candidate thinks that every problem has a 'solution' in Washington.

Memo to McCain "JUST LEAVE US ALONE AND DO THE JOB THE CONSTITUTION GIVES YOU!!!"

Obama/Wright
What passes for Christian in the liberal sense now appears to have discarded Christ's message for the hate speech of Black Muslims and terrorist apologizing liberals who seek an elite world government. When in charge would then oppress their imagined oppressors?
Most of us living today have not oppressed anybody because we are to busy trying to care for our own families with the same resources available to the minorities. In fact there are many opportunities offered minorities denied white families for education, business, and welfare.
This poor me attitude is the only hold up I see in anyone back from obtaining the American Dream.

Just A Theory
But after weeks & months of reading posts from (many of the same posters) 'supposed' conservatives who are more than willing but also EAGER to not vote for McCain.

Citing their displeasure on his various stances, the biggest gripe is the FAILED Amnesty bill, these people seem to be doing the same thing they did during the primary by b*tching about not having a PERFECT conservative to vote for. Then they have the gall to complain that the GOP candidate is McCain!

Republicans, real republicans must ask themselves is it better to have a President who -

Believes military strength is priority one OR one who thinks we can do away with the military and "talk out our idfferences" with sworn enemies?

Will surrender to the IslamoFacsist in Iraq & elsewhere (your neighborhood sooner or later) or one who will employ a 'Marshall Plan' of sorts in Iraq and fight the enemy in their own neighborhoods if that is what it takes to preserve our way of life?

Knows taxing the middle class into the poor house is NOT the way to create wealth OR one who BELIEVES taxes are the cure to all our ills, we just have to spend MORE.

Has said "I'll give them the GD fence if thats what they want!" OR one who will NOT BUILD a single foot...after all, to the Left, there are no 'illegal aliens', just 'undocumented visitors' in the country.

Will nominate Justices to SCOTUS in the mold of Roberts & Alito OR will get Breyer-Ginsberg-Souter type SCOTUS appointments 'rubberstamped' by a like-minded Dem-Lib Congress?

Thanks, but given the choice I'll vote McCain even though he wasn't my first or second choice and is admittedly far from the perfect choice. The OTHER option doesn't even live in the same universe I do as far as I'm concerned.

Wow!When did you get out? Do your keepers know you are on the computer again? Didn't you promise them you would behave? The therapy DID NOT HELP YOU,DID IT?

You know exactly what Bill Ayers is.Besides a friend of Barack Hussein,he even befriends YOU?Now that says a lot about him right there, doesn't it? He should be in prison instead of the classroom, corrupting student's brains.B.H.will have to answer for staying friends with him, sooner or later.

Better run back to your room, now, before they miss you and put out an APB for you.It is not safe for the rest of us with you on the loose.

STUPID MCCAIN AND HIS ADVISERS
Let me tell this straight. McCain and his advisers are being really stupid here.

Why do you need to join the attack on Obama when the some of the democrats and conservatives already do the job for you?

And more stupidly, why does he even try to repair Obama's image by advising Obama to apologize? Is McCain trying to be Obama's adviser?

Of course, once Obama has apologized, this issue will be irrelevant in the general election in the fall.

I support McCain, but his latest approach on this campaign hasn't been really fruitful.

What he needs to do are:

1. Have townhall meetings.
2. Avoid attack on Obama directly from your campaign team. Don't try to tell what Republican party on state level can do and cannot do.
3. Have specific main domestic agendas you want to do during your presidency.
4. Be philosophical and pragmatical in your approach. Tough, but you can do it.

Bring home our soldiers
and their equipment from FDR's War, and give them the job of getting rid of the illegal aliens. The Engineer Battalions can build the wall. The tanks, artillery, and helicopters can patrol the border, and the infantry can round up and deport the illegal aliens. Be sure to give our men the right to return fire when fired on.

Bill Ayers Fought Nixon's Genocide
in Vietnam where 3 MILLION Vietnamese were slaughtered, that's half way to another Hitler-style genocide of 6 MILLION jews.

Bill Ayers is a brave man, Nixon was a criminal who needed a presidential pardon to stay out of jail.

McCain's low road
In the recent debate, Obama responded to questions about Ayers, in part, by (1) noting that he is not Ayers and he has never expressed approval of what Ayers did or said and (2) wondering whether those calling for him to repudiate statements by others would also expect him to repudiate statements by anyone and everyone with whom he is friendly, such as conservative Sen. Tom Coburn (R.-Okla.).

McCain now professes to be "offended by a comparison like that.” In doing so, McCain ignores Obama's point, i.e., Obama is not responsible for what all these other people say, lends support to slimy guilt-by-association tactics, and suggests that Obama equated Ayers and Coburn in some fashion other than that Obama is not responsible for what either of them says. Politics at it's worst.

A suggestion for McCain
I am shocked by McCain's criticism of Obama's friendship with Ayers. How dare he attack someone who is not a Republican!. If McCain wants to be President he'll have to save his vitriol for conservatives and friendly talk show hosts.

How else can he attract liberal the liberal vote? Ted Kennedy will be less likely to invite him to the Kennedy compound in Hyannis using that kind of rhetoric. How about exercising a bit of decorum towards Democrat candidates and saving most of your venom for Republicans?

All the losers...
who will stay home in November don't deserve to live in this great country. Your selfish desire to stick it to McCain will bury us even deeper in the sh-t we are in. Are you happy with yourselves after 2006? As a conservative I don't like McCain but I don't have sh-t for brains like all the idiots who will not vote for him because he isn't 100% conservative. Even Michael Savage said that he would vote for the lesser evil. You really, really suck...

McCain
McCain is the only serious contender for the election this year because HR and BO are liberal socialists and I do NOT want any big government "giveaways" using our tax money. BO is also a naive, egotistical, whiny, self-serving sham who, I believe, doesn't really love this country and who has made and continues to makes many imprudent decisions. HR is just power hungry and I couldn't stand any more of WJC's amoral behavior.
I want less government (NO national health care), more freedom, free-market economics, fiscal conservative who will veto spending, powerful hawkish foreign policy when necessary, someone who loves the United States and understands her values and honors her Constitution, pro-business stance, and lower taxes. The only candidate who fills that bill is McCain.

Amnesty or Border Fence
So many comments, so little thought into what we should all look at. 1st the Democrats are in charge of Congress now and what do they want, amnsty,no border fence, cut the military again and make us less secure like Clinton did when he was president. 2nd. Nothing has gotten done since the Democrats took over Congress, let them have a Democratic President and we will all suffer with higher taxes, less freedom and more immigrants then this country can pay for. For all of you who say you will not vote for McCain, then I say, you are turning over our country to a bunch of left wing racists whos goal is to create an America that will run this country like China, Iran, etc., at least McCain will fight for this country and your rights. Conservatives have set and done nothing too long,by sitting on our a-- and whinning, it is time to begin to bring back what we lost, we want everything over night, well if its worth fighting for, its worth voting for, one step at a time is how you reach your goal, not by backing off in a corner or running the other way.

Condemnation Silliness
Politics includes the art of not alienating supporters and potential supporters while also not appearing to lose your value. McCain, Obama and Clinton would not be this close to the presidency if they didn't engage in the sophistry and silliness the electorate requires of them.

McCain supporter and contributor Pastor Hagee's is anti-Semitic and anti-Catholic. Hagee also entertains the bizarre and ridiculous belief that Katrina happened because God didn't like a gay rights parade a week before in New Orleans. So what? I don't really care. Just like I don't care about Wright and Ayers. I suspect many who claim to care about this nonsense don't really believe it to be important.

What worries me is McCain's belief the surge is "working." To think the Republicans have rejected their realist foreign policy and fiscal conservatism greatly disheartens those who believe in a principled Republican party.

Just think what these two reprobates are teaching our young.Ward Churchill is another. Are they teaching anti-American values to our mush-brained youth?

Ayers and Dorhn are long overdue for
scrutiny - very careful and rigorous scrutiny.

The 'national' dialogue on Ayers/Dohrn's influence upon Senator Obama pales beneath the complete glossing over of the continued 'acceptance' of these two domestic terrorists in Chicago Academic circles.

Why, but more radically, How, did these two secure imbedded posts in the teaching community and by whose direct influence, insistence and complete disregard for American safety and good sence is a question Chicago's 'hard-hitting' journalists should content themselves.

Why has no Chicago journalist dug up the facts?

Chicago reporters have no problem looking at the genesis of a low-level Streets and Santitation worker's clout pedigree. Why give two admitted terrorists a pass?

Who made the call?

How did their academic positions get secured?

What was the quid pro quo?

Qui Bono?

Qui . . .you know the rest.

We've heard a lot about
chickens coming home to roost but no one brings up birds of a feather flock together.

Obama's intimate association with a race-baiting minister for two decades, his political support by real terrorists Ayers and Dohrn, and his economic support from Rezko make the the candidate and the fowl he flocks with pretty birdrained.

I'm glad McCain has entered the fight. Obama will probably be McCain's opponent in Nov., and the Reps. should start drawing the lines in the sand.

UGH, McCain Again
To say the least [these areas] have not been part of the American dream,” McCain said. “Washington is out of touch with the needs and hopes and aspirations.”

But, but...John McCain IS Washington and if anybody was "out of touch" with the American people on illegal immigration and tax cuts, it was John McCain.

Yeah, I don't like Obama at all, or Clinton for that matter, but I still don't like or trust John McCain.

We're doomed for 4 years no matter what happens in November.

Apologize?

He believes we have nowhere else to go,so he is it.He can count on us.We are like old dogs, kick us around and we will still be faithful and come back and lay at the master's feet.

Don't push us too hard,Johnny. There are limits even for conservatives,so seek the middle if that pleases you,but don't forget the right. We are just that..RIGHT.

p.s
mccain makes me and my wife sick to our stomach knowing that for the first time in our adult lives we wont be voting and that we dont have a dog in the fight at all. No volunteering , no getting bumper stickers , yard signs , shirts or meeting up with local county house parties to create a strategies for where to get out the votes ,,, natta ! and you know what ? That sucks big time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont know how to thank the main stream media and the luke warm independents and RINOS for being so so brave and pushing this guy on us. Oh and we will never forget how some other runners stayed in , stepped out and hung in there all in a odd way in which to secure mccain the top spot. Thanks for nothing huckabee, Thompson and rudy grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !

hope your book deals and speech dates pay enough to clear your guilt !

Mccain is Bi polar
And people wonder why the real conservatives simply cant support , volunteer or donate cash to this loon. Well were seeing why here. He connects obama to hamas by way of some terrorist saying they prefer obama then any other running. Yet goes after a fair commercial the NC GOP is running to help them on there local races , what business is it of Mccains to say anything about that ad. This is where we see if he wasnt running himself he would be voting for obama himself. He attacks conservatives with such a natural feel and does so with vigor. Yet he handles words and attacks on his fellow democrats with kitt gloves.

Man , I pity the fools who have drinken from the kool aid and actually sent this bi polar nut job there hard earned money.

Your paying for a democrat with a small R next to his senate title , who promises higher gas taxes , 40 to 60 million new so called americans . and ending the cuban hyatt and bringing terrorist here to obtain american rights in the american courts ... wow proud moment for you that have donated for that wowwwwwwwwwww !

Are Lefties REALLY Pacifists?

That piece of filthy human garbage named William Ayers revealed to the world the real intentions of the Lefties.

Pretending to be anti-violence, these silver-spoon hypocrites are only against the wars that conservatives wage. Ayers and his extremists buddys turned the streets of America into violent battle grounds, and turned the nation against their cause.

So they operated behind the scenes for decades, taking over the Universities, the Courts and the Media.

But for some reason these nasty slime think that it is the right time to resurface, using the bland, insipid Obama as their frontman.

Let us show these weasels that they need to ruturn to their burrows like Punxsutawney Phil... only this time never to emerge again!

To hell with Juan Pablo McPain..
Vote Libertarian...

Vote Bob Barr..

And then there's Robert's endorsement

As if we needed any other reason to consider John McCain a dose of political hemlock in nominally human form.

-- John Adams

McCain is inconsistent and volatile
McCain is one of the most arrogant people I've ever heard. How can he not condemn the city of Berkeley, while lambasting Obama for his friendship with terrorists? When NC wants to run an ad exposing Obama, why does McCain try to stop it? He is too two-faced for me to trust him. I will write in Fred Thompson if McCain is still the nominee by the convention. http://www.thompsoncoalition.com
http://www.petitiononline.com/JDAlvey1/petition.html

Don't delay. That petition has a way to stop McCain!

Nominating John McCain...
--
...to head the Republican Party ticket in the 2008 general election is entirely too goddam much like selecting a Methodist bishop as the next Roman Catholic Pope.

Quoting John McCain's comment in 2004:

"I believe my party has gone astray. I think the Democratic Party is a fine party, and I have no problems with it, in their views and their philosophy."

That's the heresy of indifferentism you're reading.

John McCain really doesn't see any *DIFFERENCE* between the Democrat Party and the GOP.

And he's the heir presumptive to the leadership of the Party.

Whoopee.

He's precisely the kind of purely nominal "Republican" (remember that RINO acronym?) who drove the party into the cataclysmic Congressional defeats of 2006.

And he's aiming the party of Reagan and Goldwater into the same brick wall again in November.

--------
"[T]here I was on election night 2006, an aging Goldwater conservative who felt not only good but also gratified that all this was unraveling state by state and district by district. A Democratic landslide was sweeping a corrupt, self-aggrandizing Republican congressional majority out of power and, hard as they tried, the disingenuous party hacks spouting the White House line on Fox News couldn't explain it away. What came to mind watching these Beltway blowhards was an old Joe South lyric from the 1970s: 'These are not my people.'"

Fear Is McCain's Only Hope
bobbit, we would have no country to defend because Amnesty John plans to give it away.

Yes, there are jihadis out there who want us dead. They have always been there. The Joint Chiefs are not going to disappear if Obama is elected. Don't vote for surrender (amnesty) out of fear of jihad.

Is a Pattern Developing
If you consider Obama's association with Ayers on it's own, it may not be that significant. However, it does seem strange that Obama would have an organizational mtg at Ayers home.

However, when you couple Ayers with Rev Wright, Michelle's comments on America, Obama's "bitter" comments, it seems that a pattern of Obama's true feelings are developing.

Then consider that Obama has a very liberal voting record, and I think the actual Obama is being exposed. Not just the visionary Obama of Change that he is promoting.

Problem is, many people have bought his con, hook line and sinker, or to put it another way, they are really hooked on the Obama kool aide.

It appears that just in the past couple weeks some people are starting to see through the fogg.

Let's hope enough discover the real Obama before it's too late.

McCain
I never thought I would say this but McCain looks better every day thanks to the two stooges: Hill and Barry.

I also hate to say it but I HAVE to vote for McCain now. I only have a little trust in him but I have less than zero in them. Those other two are gonna get us killed and/or they're gonna leave us broke (even more so than the dumba@@ GOP Congress).

We cannot allow them to win the WH people! At any other time in our history I could go along with letting J-Mac lose. He's no conservative! However with many Islamocrazies seeking our destruction combined with the possiblity of them acquiring nuclear WMD increasing all of the time - this is not that time. A little sanity is in order and a little less whining about our candidate. It is what it is and we must deal with it.

At least I know McCain will hit them back and he won't decimate the military. Everything after that is irrelevant if we don't have that.

We just have keep our eyes on the ball and stay engaged and keep the switchboards lighting up in DC when they stick their heads you know where again.

GG-AZ
I think you are correct. Personally, I am so sick of these calls to apologize, they make the
words and the act meaningless unless there is some true repentence behind them. Apologies are just another version of political correctness.
I keep praying for a miracle and we won't be
stuck with any one of the three. But while I'm praying I also wonder, since God raises and deposes rulers (leaders) that His plan is to
shock us with these inept three stooges into
returning to Him. Yes, inspite of the naysayers and ACLU types, we have a judeo/Christian heritage and this country was dedicated to Him and the spreading of the Gospel long before we
were a nation. And every State Constitution has a reference to God in its preamble..so there!

Is Obama finished ? I think so
Is Obama finished ? I think so.

What is the point of an apology?
I think this shows Sen. McCain's weakness.

What he should say is that Sen. Obama's association with this traitorous terrorist shows his appalling lack of judgment and his support of far-Left anti-Americanism.

I haven't checked the dates, but it seems likely that Mr. Ayers was bombing the Pentagon in support of our Communist enemies in Vietnam, while Sen. McCain was being tortured by those same enemies.

maldain

Why support a candidate that you KNOW you'll have to continue to fight? A fight you won't win! Seems kinda crazy.

How's that fence working out for you? You don't really expect it'll ever be finished, do you?

McCain comments on Ayres
All well and good, but the budget not balanced, the war isn't won, medicare and social security is in complete disarray, our education system needs leaders with courage, our balance of payments continues to go south. Let's talk about the real issues. We are getting side traked by these meaningless tit for tat accusations about "who one hangs with"
Broke Taxpayer

momlady
You're probably right; an Obama/Clinton presidency will likely make an even worse mess of things...certainly in the short term.

However, even many Republicans – those that are intellectually honest – and all conservatives believe a McCain presidency would also "make a worse mess of things."

Nevertheless, some Republicans, such as you perhaps, rationalize/hope a McCain presidency won't be quite the disaster a Democrat presidency promises. After all, McCain is supposedly a Republican, so he has to be better than the Democrats, right? Hmmm...

If both McCain and his opponents will make a worse mess of things, why is it "completely illogical" for someone to support a different candidate?

How is it logical to knowingly and willfully support a candidate that will surely "make a worse mess of things?"

Maldain
I agree with you, and I always planned on voting for McCain once my favorite horse, Romney left.

There is that chance McCain will build that fence, and as a gambler, the probability heavily lies more with McCain that it will be done whereas it's a huge long shot if Hillary or Obama ever would.

McCain is not a prfect conservative, but he he is more conservative than both Hillary and Obama are.

We stopped the amnesty, and if we can do that, we can curb him to doing what's right. Hopefully.

Is he dumb like a fox?
My instinct is to wring his neck, three issues:

1) Global Warming.
2) Jeremiah Wright.
3) Billy Boy Ayers.

Of course any sane person knows the correct side of these issues:

1) McCain says, "I support climate change action as long as India and China sign on...." Hmm, I'm thinking he may have something there.
2) Of course Wright is despicable, mostly because his rhetoric enslaves black people in America. But could that be an extremely difficult concept to convey? You bet, in fact who could possibly perform that miracle? Jesus? I doubt it, at the very least, Wright would never recognize him.
3) Billy Ayers. This one is easy, oh yeah, Obama Sin could claim that he is a very peripheral figure in his life, problem is he is always peripherally in view. McCain can and does attack this one frontally with no fear of the race card.

If politics is the art of what could be, McCain may just know more than I ever have imagined.

I agree with maldain
Fight one battle at a time!

Besides the Dems are so far to the left, they'll only make a worse mess of things (and will not, as maldain also pointed out, even build the fence!)

I don't understand the willingness to sit it out because there is not a more PERFECT candidate opposing Barak/Hillary!

It may feel ideologically pure, but it's completely illogical!

Amnesty John Mccain
Anyone expecting John McCain to close the borders if he should squeak by and be elected, should not hold their breaths. The border will never be closed,no matter who is president.

If there had been any plans to close it,that would have been done years ago, before millions of illegals flooded across. The borders will be open between Mexico and Canada for the duration.

If John McCain thinks it would secure him a victory,he would probably pick the loser between Hillary and Obama.to be his V.P..

I really think the two Dem. stooges will be together on the Dem.ticket to cool the tempers that will flare.Who will be the 'top dog' is anybody's guess.

The pot calling the kettle...
"Republican presidential candidate John McCain called on...Barack Obama to apologize for having a relationship with domestic terrorist William Ayers..."

Has McCain ever apologized for his relationships with the democratic terrorists Kennedy, Feingold, Lieberman, etc?

thoughts, etc
The NC ad is racist because it demeans white people and does not demean the Wright people, or persons...

I cannot wait for Obama to get the nomination. After the Dems eat their children at the DNC and burn down their buildings, the smoking remnants will last a lifetime.

Obama will surely step out of the smoldering remains, put on a new coat, then face...McNasty. McCain will then grind down the Obman into the ground with all the garbage stuffed in his fabulous suit.

What Obman does not realize is that he is going up against a Naval pilot, with REAL life experience (not only blowing things up, but also taking a few chairs to the back of the head in Hanoi). Obman whines in order to finish his "waffles". Does he not realize that the garbage in his coat is ballast? When in a naval battle one does not want too much ballast on him, he only risks sinking faster.

I am already planning the popcorn and beer for this most spectacular event. I may TiVo it for my kids to learn "how not to live your life as a charlatan".

I keep hearing that the NC ad is racist,
but not a one has explained exactly what it is about the ad that makes it racist.

Call me dense, but what am I missing here?

Fight one battle at a time.
First let's get the fence built and then we'll work on enforcement. After all, he caved on the fence because of public opinion he'll cave on enforcement for the same reason. Don't forget McCain is a politician and he'll want a second term if he's elected. So let's just fight one battle at a time. He'll build the fence the other two won't. Get the fence built then we fight for enforcement.

VPatriot
McAmnesty McMidget as much as said he didn't want my vote. HE WILL NOT GET IT!

Jindal/Palin2012

No Enforcement/No Votes

McCain keeps saying "Secure the border first". We know that he means amnesty next. The plan is to get the border state Gov's to declare the border secure. Conveniently, they are all on board the cheap labor express. Then his good friend Ted Kennedy will bring back McCain/Kennedy and McCain can provide his good friends across the aisle with their new permanent majority.

I will not vote for amnesty.

“John McCain’s position on immigration is very clear and this a question that gets asked at townhall appearances everyday in media appearances and has answered the question at least a thousand times before the New Hampshire primary,” Schmidt said.

He explained, “Any person who supports John McCain’s campaigns is a subscriber to John McCain’s views"

A vote for McCain is a vote for surrender of your country.
