Will the Dems' health care Christmas Present to America be an improvement or detriment to our health care system?

There was a lot of “girl power” in the Capital Hilton in Washington when Hillary Clinton addressed a large audience of her female campaign donors on Wednesday.

“This isn’t about me,” Clinton said at the event, booked as the “National Women’s Financial Council Summit,” that functioned as a fundraiser for the New York Senator’s presidential campaign. “This is a tremendous outpouring of support for us, for what we will do together,” Clinton told her supporters

To attend the day-long session activities designed towards both fundraising and campaign organization, each participant must have donated or bundled at least $1,000 in campaign donations for Clinton’s presidential campaign. It cost donors $2300 to reserve a seat for Clinton’s afternoon address. Other activities included issue break-out sessions and panel discussions with Clinton’s national campaign staff, which were closed to the press.

In her introduction of Clinton, San Diego Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D.-Calif.) encouraged women to donate money to political campaigns because “money is the mother’s milk of all politics.” When Sanchez said this Clinton nodded emphatically in agreement.

Most of Clinton’s speech was quietly delivered to the rapt female crowd that filled the Capital Hilton ballroom. Clinton repeated abstract platforms of her campaign, like “restoring leadership” and “reclaiming the future for our children,” but took a few pointed shots at Republicans over what she classified as “science” and children’s healthcare.

Clinton said President Bush’s opposition to making the abortive drug Plan B available over the counter, federally funded stem cell research, and global warming mandates were indicative of his “war on science.”

“I will end the Bush administration’s war on science!” Clinton said. “They have been waging an ideological war on science! There are countless examples of it!”

She also mentioned the 12-year old Graeme Frost who became a focal point of the debate to expand the State Children’s Health Insurance Program. Clinton said he was “viciously attacked by the right-wing….shame on them!” Continued...

Hillary vs Obama?
GREAT VIDEO

Maybe a house will fall on her
I know it's not a very Christian attitude to take, but I really hope that her plane crashes, or she gets hit by a bus, or she gets struck by a bolt of lightning. Then everyone who loves her can reminisce about her, and those of us who believe that she is evil can breathe a sigh of relief.

Hillary delenda est.
