The Special Delivery Project
Posted by: Townhall.com Staff at 7:00 AM
Guest post from Andrew Moylan, Director of Government Affairs, National Taxpayers Union

Let the National Taxpayers Union deliver YOUR video message on health care to Congress!

NTU is launching a new effort where we're asking YOU to send us a short video with a message to your Members of Congress about why big government is not the solution to our health care woes. We will then burn each and every one of those videos to DVD and personally deliver them to your Members of Congress. For the most compelling messages, we'll even schedule meetings with Congressional staff to show the video and discuss the issue. We hope that this project will allow a citizen's voice to be heard in a way that emails and faxes could never approximate.

So take a few minutes and record your message to Congress! Tell them why you think that higher taxes and bigger government are NOT prescriptions for our health care ailments.

Here are the guidelines…

Respond directly to our video on YouTube. When you do that, please also send a message through YouTube to natltaxpayersunion that includes your contact information (email or phone). If you'd prefer not to use YouTube, you may email your submission (with your contact information) to ntu@ntu.org with a subject line: Health care video.

*Make your video passionate, but respectful. Shoot for about two minutes in length. And we don't need Hollywood production values, just your hometown values from the heart.

*Please be sure to give your name, home town, and information about who your Representative in the House and two Senators are.

*Please submit your video by Friday, October 9th. That will allow us time to deliver your video message during the heart of the health care debate on Capitol Hill.

*Keep in mind that we will not deliver videos from trolls, or those containing messages that are vulgar, offensive, or irrelevant to the cause.

*Disclaimer: by submitting a video on YouTube or through email, you are agreeing to allow the National Taxpayers Union (NTU) to show the video publicly (including on our website/blog and other locations on the internet), to make physical copies of it for distribution, as well as to use it for public education and lobbying purposes. In addition, videos submitted contain the thoughts and opinions of one individual and do not necessarily reflect the views of NTU or its members.

As you may know, NTU recently pitched in with organizing the massive 9/12 March on Washington. Hundreds of thousands of Americans showed up to express their frustration with the direction of our government. At the rally, we interviewed dozens of attendees and asked them what their short message to their representatives in Congress would be. We're now in the process of burning and delivering those messages to Congressional offices, but as many people as attended the rally, we know there were hundreds of thousands of you who couldn't come for one reason or another. We'd now like to give all of you an opportunity to have your voice heard in the same way as some who attended the march. We look forward to seeing your submissions!

(PREV. UNSEEN VIDEO) OBAMA: "...eliminate private insurance!"
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 2:43 PM

Arise and be healed...
by MY single payer, long lines, unable to get coverage if you're over fifty,
universal health care plan!

Though he has denied it this video shows otherwise. Obama wishes to eliminate private health insurance, and his buddies Barney and Jan connect the dots in events that are filmed that no one ever thought would see the public light of day.

And oh yeah - footage of the Messiah himself saying he favors a single-payer plan.

Something he has spent a great amount of energy saying, "let me be clear" LYING about!

Iran's Green Day... (Video) Blood of the patriots?
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 2:29 PM
http://msnbcmedia3.msn.com/j/MSNBC/Components/Photo/_new/090615-iran-protests-hlrg-145a.hlarge.jpg

It is a frightening thing to be in the midst of societal change when it comes at such a high cost. But one thing appears to be true. The election results in Iran were rigged. The top cleric has compromised himself by backing the loser. And the youth movement in Iran who want freedom so strongly are now facing an onslaught of Nazi like proportions. Watch all of the clips in this collection from Andrew Breitbart. With technology being what it is, the entire world will know by the 6pm news cycle tonight the kind of violent totalitarian regime that is clinging to power by brute force.

Typically, our President has said that he will maintain discussions with Ahmadinejad. Typically the progressives in the west, but specifically in America will issue no condemnation of a brutal regime who has taken to beating people to death (clip 1) that attempt to enact freedom.

Freedom of the individual is the greatest threat to the corruption that leftists, liberals, and progressives all believe in. Freedom is the only element that can hold them accountable.

And let's all pray that the people of Iran will be allowed the freedom God has divinely offered as a gift to them... not merely the mullahs.

Stephen Baldwin leaving the U.S.?
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 12:49 AM

Promise Keeper

So my radio sidekick made a promise before the election that was an obvious joke, though few on the left took it that way. So now they should be happy. Stevie B is leavin' the good ol' USA for the Easter holiday anyway.

And it's for a great cause, he's headed to Iraq at the invite of fellow actor Gary Sinise to celebrate the resurrection of Christ from the grave with our service men and women.

It also just so happens to be the focus of this week's vidcast from Xtreme Media:

I don't believe Obama is a Muslim... but you know who does? (VIDEO)
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 10:02 AM

I don't believe that Obama is a covert Muslim. I just think he did pal around with terrorists (new proof of that yesterday). And I think he went to a "church" where an American hating, race baiting, bigoted "pastor" preached bile-spewing views for 20 years.

1st Grade FIELD TRIP: Lesbian Wedding...

"Hi class, this is my wife, er husband, uh, uh, whatevs..."

According to the mayor of San Francisco, it's coming "whether you like it or not..."

And now school districts believe that taking first graders to observe the faux, the fake, the unnatural, and the non-genetic act of sexual choice is appropriate material for class curriculum...

Watch this...

Not my "faith" in God!

Just a post Summit word on the interaction we (Stevie B and KMC) enjoyed at the Values Voter event this weekend. Stephen and I spoke on Friday afternoon, then hosted the 300 students in the reception that night, and the next afternoon I was honored to be invited to contribute to the "New Media" breakout panel, along with Blogosphere heavyweights like Ed Morrissey, Joe Carter, Ross Douthat, and Jill Stanek.

I truly enjoyed all of the interaction in all three settings. And I had people coming up to me after the blog break out telling me how much they enjoyed it - and they weren't even bloggers. If I can find the footage of the panel I will try to post it later.

On YouTube I DID find the video of Stephen's afternoon keynote talk concerning Hollywood's sinister mocking of the average parent. He got rave reviews from the event which is a lot more buttoned down than he's used to.

HULU - taking YouTube's marketshare away...
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 10:37 PM

Better quality... no price!

Did you hear about/see this today? HULU is going directly after part of YouTube's marketshare on television and movies - FOR FREE.

They have monetized the product by putting ads in the context of the movies, BUT the movies ARE the unedited versions. PARENTAL WARNING: If your kids watch an "R" rated movie in this system they WILL BE exposed to the "R" rated material.

From what I understand from news reports there are also multiple commercial viewing options - all at once BEFORE the movie starts, or throughout the content every ten, fifteen, or twenty minutes or so.

There is also one more draw for HULU. The quality is said to be MILES ahead of the YouTube pixelated universe.
