"Harass-u-lations Xtreme Radio!!!"

As hard as it is for us to believe it, the next episode of Xtreme Radio marks the 1st Anniversary of the broadcast that began 52 weeks ago. Previous guests, and people who have been the subject of some of our topics have been invited to tell us what they think of this crazy little show. By the way you're welcome to tell us what you like/dislike as well - 800.345.9622. Starting on only 3 stations, and now nearing 200 next week we welcome our two newest affiliates.
Also Obama got caught checking out the derriere of a 16yr old girl at the G8. But if every man on earth does such a thing, why is it a bigger deal if a President does it? And what can girls understand from this phenomenon. Also a new investigation has just concluded that the Bush surveillance methods did a lot more than anyone realized, even further "violating the right to privacy." So why hasn't President Obama stopped the operations? Maybe we're missing something, you tell us if we are tonight. 800.345.9622.

In FoxNews' Strategy Room 9-11am today!

Leventhal's Place

I don't think Courtney Friel will be on with us this morning, but I will be hanging with Rick and company this morning in Fox's Strategy Room. Ed Morrissey described it as a poker game without cards...

Pretty good analogy...

I will have e-mail and facebook accessible during the session so message me whatever pops into your head on the topics we are discussing, or if you just hate my choice of tie this morning.

Was THIS what Biden was referring to?
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 8:17 AM
http://stuckon-stupid.com/images/Slowjoebiden.jpg
Aaaaahhhhhhhhh...

I was in the FoxNews Strategy Room on Tuesday when the full statement of what Joe Biden had said to a group of Seattle liberals over the weekend was released.

The whole, "Obama's going to be tested, and we need you to stand with him because the American people won't like how he handles the situation..." had a lot written all over it.

I publicly and repeatedly mentioned something just like this. In fact I said it so many times that FoxNews' Rick Leventhal had to ask me why I thought it was such a strong possibility.

To me it just makes sense. The little monkey Ahmadinjad has been screaming for years how he's going to obliterate his enemies. He's enriched thousands of centrifuges. The UN says he's dangerous, and President Bush has acknowledged the threat that he is repeatedly...

Of course all of that means that Barack Obama and Joe Biden, the NYTimes, and NYU would like to have him over for dinner... where the guest of honor would be Bill Ayers of course.

Rick Warren: "'Above My Pay Grade' is UNACCEPTABLE!"
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 4:58 PM

No good...

"No. I think he needed to be more specific on that. I happen to disagree with Barack on that. Like I said, he's a friend. But to me, I would not want to die and get before God one day and go, 'Oh, sorry, I didn't take the time to figure out' because if I was wrong then it had severe implications to my leadership if I had the ability to do something about it. He should either say, 'No scientifically, I do not believe it's a human being until X' or whatever it is or to say, 'Yes, I believe it is a human being at X point,' whether it's conception or anything else. But to just say 'I don't know' on the most divisive issue in America is not a clear enough answer for me.

That's why to say that evangelicals are a monolith is a myth, but the other thing is that you've been hearing a lot of the press talk about 'Well, evangelicals are changing, they're now interested in poverty and disease and illiteracy, and all the stuff I've been talking about for five years now. And I have been seeding that into the evangelical movement and it's getting picked up and a lot of people are talking about doing humanitarian efforts. But I really think it's wishful thinking on a lot of people who think they're going to drop the other issues. They're not leaving pro-life, I'm just trying to expand the agenda....

If an evangelical really believes that the Bible is literal--in other word in Psalm 139 God says 'I formed you in your mother's womb and before you were born I planned every day of your life,' if they believe that's literally true, then they can't just walk away from that. They can add other issues, but they can't walk away from the belief that at conception God planned that child and to abort it would be to short circuit the purpose."

Why Rick Warren surprised me...
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 12:19 PM

SURPRISE?

Some will argue that I never had anything to be concerned about, but given what his record has been when it comes to this political/faith intersection, I was more than pessimistic about the quality of what was going to happen with the candidates last night.

Moreover Warren's previously unrepentant "fan-ness" of Obama going so far as to serve as a private adviser of Obama - I questioned whether the goals of the forum were going to be met.

At the end of the night... I have to admit - I was not just surprised, I was shocked.

Warren's line of questioning was surprisingly consistent and precise to both candidates. Tuning in initially during Obama's portion I was peeved that Warren did not press on the follow ups - but at the conclusion of McCain's time slot I felt nothing but agreement with Charles Krauthammer on FNC - it was the finest forum of the election thus far.

Rick Warren has given America significant reasons to be concerned about his involvement in the political debate. Not critiquing Obama's gospel of condoms at his AIDS conference two years ago still standing out as the most predominant example.

But that being said - Warren corrected a good deal of that perception last night. And interestingly enough - after promising a grilling over "non-asked questions" about poverty, AIDS, etc. He actually really did ask about the most important issues to evangelicals - the definition of life, the definition of marriage, religious freedom/liberty, and of course biggies like taxes and national security.

For my pre-forum pessimism Pastor Warren, please accept this cynic's sincere apology...

More on my assessment of Mr. Obama's underwhelming performance tomorrow in my syndicated column.

Militant Lesbian Leftist Homosexual Group "Co-Sponsor" of Rick Warren's pulpit now?
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 12:25 PM
The image “http://www.getreligion.org/wp-content/photos/Rickwarren_01.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
I'm STILL 'da man!

If Rick Warren thought he caught grief three years ago when he started inviting Barack Obama to come preach his Gospel of Condoms at the Saddleback annual AIDS conference - just wait till this gets out.

The Saddleback AIDS/HIV conference is now officially being co-sponsored by "Faith in Public Life" which is little more than a "religious" shill organization for all things leftist. But FiPL's president, who will appear at the conference, is a militant lesbian who has engaged in homosexual advocacy for years.

When Rick Warren was questioned about the group's involvement he claimed their co-sponsorship meant little. Warren claims Saddleback is still "in control" of the agenda and messaging of the conference.

Does anyone believe that? Co-sponsors become co-sponsors by putting up part of the costs of the event and in return - they seek some degree of influence, profit, or opportunity to distribute materials in return.

It's bad enough Warren never rebuffed Obama's doctrine of condom use and reckless sexual habits, as a supposed teacher of scripture he is OBLIGATED to do so. But to now actually engage in co-sponsorship with groups that oppose the biblical teaching he professes to remain faithful to is beyond the pale.

And the evangelical world should speak quickly and firmly in the process...

Monday's with Morrissey - Dobson, McCain, Obama, Warren...

Rick Warren: "King-maker!"
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 11:40 AM
The image “http://www.getreligion.org/wp-content/photos/Rickwarren_01.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
"I'm the man!"

"The primaries proved that Americans care deeply about the faith, values, character and leadership convictions of candidates as much as they do about the issues. While I know both men as friends and they recognize I will be frank, but fair, they also know I will be raising questions in these four areas beyond what political reporters typically ask. This includes pressing issues that are bridging divides in our nation, such as poverty, HIV/AIDS, climate and human rights."

Now - I'm not sure what Warren believes he is referring to in the "four areas beyond what political reporters typically ask" but I will tell you that the four things he's listed do not qualify. Primarily because these are four of the MOST OFTEN asked about "areas."

And is Rick Warren seriously going to discuss 'Global Warming' - despite the fact that 2008 has been a wrecking ball from the science community to the theory that Al Gore enriched himself off of? Seriously? More than 50,000 climatologists, meteorologists, and earth scientists - not to mention prominent, classroom isolated, academic science types ALL now refuting the key components to the overly hyped theory? So overly hyped now that the British public school system is not allowed to show the Gore film without disclaiming as entirely propaganda? What does this have to do with a "faith and values" conference?

Warren has also consistently NEVER spared the opportunity to allow Obama to preach his Gospel of Condoms, and to date he's also not disputed it.

But has Warren seen the PEPFAR legislation (emergency aid to Africa for aids relief) that the Congress these two Senators belong to have been working on in recent weeks? Does he know about the abortive language fight that ensued over the 'Global Fund' using U.S. dollars from our emergency HIV/AIDS aid to perform mandated abortions?

Will Warren allow groups like Compassion International to share the stage this year and speak about  the work they are actually doing in the pandemic regions of Africa, bringing children HIV/AIDS cocktail meds AND the gospel of Jesus Christ - as opposed to the gospel of prophylactics?

What this conference really does is allow Rick Warren another notch in the belt of his "reach, influence, and power." Something he has become accustomed to with no measurable, tangible results to show for all the money spent in holding this annual soiree'.

Hillary talks Jesus, Jail for the Crayon Thrower, Tasing Playboy Bunnies

2pm:
If people lived as Jesus instructed they would not get AIDS. But that didn't stop Hillary from pandering the sheep at Saddleback Church in California yesterday: "Jesus never asked why someone was sick!" Or this: "My own 'faith journey' is approaching a half century, and I know how far I have to go. But I have been blessed in my life, with my family, and in the church of my childhood, to be guided every step of the way." I feel like what Hillary is saying in the opening statement is that Jesus only wanted us to cure - but not to heal. Healing may require reform, change, repentence. Which is more important to Jesus - curing someone's illness, or helping them never to become ill again? 800.345.WMCA.

3pm:
I believe that a student who throws the crayon at the teacher SHOULD BE charged with third degree battery. The headline reads: FLORIDA STUDENT FACING BATTERY CHARGES FOR THROWING CRAYON. He was kicked out of the school and arrested. Now here comes mommy, "My son is a model student, don't take my baby to court!" Taewon Little's mom Robyn said she grounded him for the tantrum. But the school principal says, "Not good enough until he completes his alternate learning program courses." We get this from parents all the time. Not my little Billy, Joey, or Taewon... he's perrrrrfect. But does he get a pass on horrible behavior because he's mama's little boy? It might be the perfect lesson for the lad, it might save his life someday to be locked up in the pokey for a night. Throw the book at him for throwing a crayon at her. (...oh - and we almost forgot "little" Taewon Little, is a sophomore in high school, taking college prep courses on weekends.) 800.345.WMCA.

Morality's hole, Feminist's Sex Tourism, and Rick Warren's awful thinking...
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 1:17 PM

Listen "LIVE" - 2-4p EST
Listen ON DEMAND anytime!

2pm:
TIME magazine confesses (without intending to) to the impossibility of morality without God, and I agree! The hampster wheel article confesses, "Wisdom comes slowly." It also says, "A sense of right or wrong is useless until someone teaches you how to apply it." Part of the problem is that science looks at primates to develop theories as to morality's origin. But since TIME's developmental theories all fall flat, they resort to explanations like "shunning" as being a form of moral training to a society. Yet shunning was one of the oldest methods used by God early in the Old Testament. And in my opinion - we have far too little shunning occuring - especially within the church - for society to begin to be a healthy place. 800.345.WMCA.

3pm:
Feminists have finally arrived and this proves it: Now they too can be "sex tourists." "One type of sex tourist attracted the other," said one manager at a shorefront bar on Mombasa's Bamburi beach. "Old white guys have always come for the younger girls and boys, preying on their poverty ... But these old women followed ... they never push the legal age limits, they seem happy just doing what is sneered at in their countries." Experts say some thrive on the social status and financial power that comes from taking much poorer, younger lovers. The purpose of the entirety of the modern feminist movement was to be the same as men. And now they can be in some of the most degenerate ways possible... 800.345.WMCA.

3:20pm
Allowing Barack Obama, Rudy Giuliani, and Hillary Clinton to speak in a pulpit on the issue of AIDS is nearly equal to allowing recovering pedophiles to be in charge of the nursery program. According to Warren, "Inviting politicians from different perspectives to the Summit is not a political decision -- it is a humanitarian and Christian action." Remember last year: "When asked at a press conference about the criticism from pro-life groups, the pastor defended his decision to ask the senator to speak, saying the "Jesus way" to respond to opponents is with love." I expect politicians to use any and every invitation they get to put their ideas in front of people, thus why I have no problem with Christian candidates speaking to gay groups, etc. It is the Pastor's role as shepherd that begs questions in this case. AND NO it's not love to allow a pedophile to work nursery ministry, and its not love to allow the pro-condom message of immorality to be given in the church here... 800.345.WMCA.

Save the Children...in NY State!
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 6:33 AM

...sometimes you just gotta take a stand...

Rick Piper, 56, owner of Auto Home and Family Insurance Center on Broadway, put a sign in the window of the business about a month ago that says "Save the kids -- Say no to gay marriage in NY." He is very clear about his reason for doing it.

"It's sin, that's all," he said, alluding to passages in the Bible against homosexuality. "It's not so much about how I feel about it. It's not an issue with me. It's an issue with God."
