Capitol Health Care Rally Draws Thousands
Posted by: Jillian Bandes at 5:48 PM
Laura Ingraham, Sen. Tom Coburn, Sen. Jim DeMint, and other Members of Congress spoke at an impressive rally outside the Capitol this afternoon, in yet another display of outrage towards the government.

The theme was health care, but attendees were just as incensed about high spending – specifically, the newly-increased debt limit – non-responsive politicians, and increased government interference in their lives.

With Sen. Joe Lieberman poised to be the 60th vote on controversial health care legislation, things didn’t seem to be panning out for the protesters. But that was certainly no reason not to be there. None of the the conservatives at the rally were willing to stand for even a whiff of the Democrats health care reforms, with or without the public option.

Rep. Steve King vented about something that seemed to be an unspoken code among the protesters.
We have people who are Marxist and communist who are masquerading as liberals and progressives.
The crowd numbered in the thousands, with many families and working professionals in attendance. Americans for Prosperity was the main sponsor.

UPDATE: AFP tells me that Capitol Police made an unofficial estimate of 8,000 - 10,000 people.

UPDATE: A full story can be found here.

Big "Elect Cristie" Tea Party, Morristown NJ this Sunday...

Living in the metro NYC area the New Jersey Governor's race is of major interest. The current angst with Washington, coupled with the fact that New Jersey taxpayers are the most taxed voters in the nation has created tremendous unrest among the voters.

Jon Corzine's administration has been abysmal. It's hard to imagine he envisioned this sort of end to his political career when he vacated his U.S. Senate seat only four years ago to step in for the embarrassed state Democrat party.

But few could imagine his term having gone much worse.

When the election will be held Corzine will have overseen the highest unemployment in his state in it's history.

He will have overseen the biggest mass exodus of companies to other locales across the nation due to the punitive regulatory environment in his state.

Corzine et al has refused to protect tax-payers, and proposed billions more in additional spending.

There is even open speculation that Corzine himself enticed the third party candidate to enter the race to attempt to peel Christie's support off and allow Corzine a partisan win, with the brainwashed numbots that will vote for him regardless of anything he has or has not accomplished over the course of his years in power.

More importantly President Obama runs the risk of going 0-3 on election night next Tuesday and New Jersey may be the most important race in the running.

For all these reasons and more I firmly believe that Chris Christie will be elected next Tuesday, but I will be lending all the help I can by appearing with Congresmman Joe "You Lie" Wilson, former gubernatorial candidate Steve Lonnegan, and James O'Keefe (the pimp who brought down ACORN) on behalf of Christie at a major Tea Party in Morristown this coming Sunday.

You are encouraged to be with us 11:30am-2pm. Get the address and directions here.

And if you come to the Tea Party or not, you need to be giving your last $25, $100, or $1000 to the campaign for Chris Christie for NJ Governor.

Interesting stat: "When Christie was being put forward for US Attorney, Corzine voted in favor of him and seconded his nomination... twice."

How far has Corzine fallen: Corzine's lowest point in elected politics, releasing television commercials making fun of Chris Christie's weight.

The circus has to stop: Give and Vote for Chris Christie!

"MARCH"

Please join us in Washington DC today, in person if you can, but at the very minimum by television. We expect that CSPAN and Fox News, along with a variety of other media will be on site. We are anticipating that ALL the cable news channels will be doing reports on site.

We are hopeful that Fox News will be doing some coverage as we - Kevin McCullough & Stephen Baldwin keynote the kick-off of the afternoon of speeches at 12Noon.

We are anticipating that CSPAN will have one of its channels dedicated to carrying the event live.

This is anticipated to be the largest anti-tax demonstration of the American people in our history.

We lend our voices to those who gather on the mall today, left, right, independent... it doesn't matter. Too much tax, leads to less freedom, and that's all today is about.

Given the observances of yesterday, freedom has been on my mind a great deal, and gives greater purpose and illumination to what we are attempting to communicate to the President.

So today we speak, as loud as we can!

Join us!

LIVE from the TeaPartyExpress...

We're into day 4 of the sixteen day trip across the continent, and Amy at Parcbench is having lots of fun, and shining the light on some of the key moments thus far of the TeaPartyExpress' progress.

As you know they arrive in DC on 9.12 at the March on Washington. Stephen and I will be speaking in the 1pm hour keynoting the afternoon.

You need to make plans to join us if you haven't already. This collection of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents will be the largest gathering of anti-tax forces in American history.

And that's a GREAT thing...

It will be hard for the administration to ignore such a collection of average citizens and everyday people. Small business owners and others who produce the jobs in our nation will be speaking up and speaking out.

We need you to join the Express and be there with us on 9.12.

Exclusive: Tea Party Express Embeds...

Xtreme Xclusive

You may recall that I mentioned last week a new partnership that has not yet been officially announced, but that is already up and operating. Xtreme Media and Parcbench.com are in the process of joining forces to contribute and provide content, revenue, and market share to one another's operations.

The official statement from both companies is due any day now and Stephen Baldwin and myself are thrilled at the prospect of working with Kellen Guida, Amy Schroeder, and the other talented crew at Parcbench.

I also just wanted to let you know that over the course of the next two weeks Amy Schroeder will be one of only six embedded journalists on the Tea Party Express. The next 14 days this bus will criss-cross the heartland from Sacramento and arriving in Washington DC on 9.11.09. The Tea Party Express and crew will be participating in the largest Tea Party held to date in America on 9.12.09.

Stephen Baldwin and Kevin McCullough have been tapped as keynote speakers at 1pm at the March on Washington. We look forward to welcoming the "Express" as she pulls into port in the nation's capital.

For the next two weeks, every single day, I would like you to come back here and check for the newest report, video, or post on the "Express'" progress. You will also see and hear reports on the other media listed above.

Fundamentally I believe in taking back our nation from those who believe they rule over us.

They do not.

They work for me... and you...

And it's time they remembered... Thusly we shall remind them on 9.12.09, and I hope to see you there!

A Sunday afternoon revolution anyone?

Conference House on Staten Island, New York

Today at Noon, in a borough of New York City I've never stepped foot in, Staten Islanders will speak with one clear, and voluminous voice that "enough has been and is ENOUGH!"

It is my honor to help keynote the event!

But we will do so today at a very historical site.

For it was the "conference house" on Staten Island, where Admiral Lord Howe, offered Edward Rutledge, Benjamin Franklin, and John Adams the chance for peace, and they declined.

Two months previously they had signed their names to a document that made the bald-faced assertion that freedom was a gift from God to man, not from one man to another.

In so doing these three and the rest of the remaining signatories on the Declaration of Independence, put themselves on the execution list should the American colonies lose the war. In 1776 George Washington and troops had just suffered a bloody defeat at Brooklyn at the far southern tip of Long Island. Under the cover of darkness however General Washington had been able to remove his bloodied and battered troops across the East River to Manhattan.

Completed with such efficiency and secrecy the Brits did not know that the Yanks were gone until after the sun rose the following morning.

When Admiral Howe invited Franklin, Rutledge, and Adams to Staten Island the goal had been to urge them to renounce their commitment to the signed Declaration in exchange for Amnesty. And though they knew that Admiral Howe very easily could have had them killed the moment they stepped foot on the Island, they went anyway.

The three hour meeting at "Conference House" ended in abject frustration for Admiral Howe, but allowed the rebels to leave, and of course in that same year the colonies declared not just independence but victory in the topping of tyranny.

http://www.teapartyinfo.com/uploads/2/0/6/0/2060990/6995680.jpg?327x217

Today American patriots meet there again, to topple a tyranny that has now infected our own government. We will be heard, and the tyrants can not stop us.

Enough spending President Obama. Enough games. Enough wasting the American's hard earned dollars on junk... literally.

Seriously President Obama... ENOUGH!

Standing in the shadow of disgrace...

Ok... you know that I spoke something like 8 times last week... all over the place, but two of the funnest things I did was to speak at the Tea Parties in NYC and DC. And evidently there were some folks who weren't too pleased about the Tea Parties carrying on.

One sad slug decided to selectively edit very minimal clips of speeches with all kinds of dishonest and sarcastic snark over the video:

Several also asked for copies of my remarks, here they were from Capitol Hill literally in the shadow of the Congressional dome:

Let the nay-sayers whine. It's no problem. We know who we are as Americans, we know what justice is, and we're getting ready to take it from the clenched fist of power very very soon.

Dallas Tea Party Invites Janeane Garofolo to July 4 Event
Posted by: Chris Field at 5:44 PM
Just saw this from DallasTeaParty.org:
On April 16 Janeane Garofolo insulted every participant in the April 15th Tea Parties with a generalized stereotype with no basis in reality. Watch the video to see everyday americans, Michelle Malkin and Alonzo Rachel join together to challenge Ms. Garofolo to face reality instead at America’s Tea Party at Southfork Ranch on July 4.

NYC - July 1 - 6:30pm
Washington DC - July 4 - 11:00am

Back around tax time I had the honor to be part of a couple of tea party celebrations. Doing so around our nation's birthday is going to mean a whole lot more to me. That's why--even with company coming to visit, I'm making plans to be with YOU on July 1st at 6:30pm in Times Square in New York City, and on July 4th at Upper Senate Park. Tired of the massive attempts by Government to control every element of your life?

Does the Cap & Tax tax scare you to death? Does the idea that a Government "solution" to health care is being shoved down our throats and the private insurance industry be damned?

Do you just think the exploitation of our economy, by a leftist administration (the biggest in history) must be stopped...

Then follow me America... Wednesday July 1 - in Times Square at 6:30pm, and Saturday July 4 - at Upper Senate Park around 10am (I speak at 11am ish)...

We The People are still in charge, and will only have ourselves to blame if "good men do nothing..." (And for the feminists who will go nuts at that historic quote from Edmund Burke it's a reference to genus NOT gender.)

Upstate NEW YORK, don't miss this tonight!!!!
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 12:22 AM
Emblem of the Conservative Party of New York State
Tonight 5:30pm

Last year I had the great honor to address the Conservative Party's Annual Convention in Albany. At that event I got to meet lots of morally minded locals from across the Empire State that want to see change come to the most liberal/dysfunctional state in the northeast.

Tonight at Orchard Vali Golf Club in Lafayette, I will do my best to encourage the troops in upstate New York on the real opportunities we have in front of us. And believe it or not friends, the signs are good. Americans are paying attention to Washington and increasingly are dissatisfied with what they are getting out of it. Truth be known most Americans would prefer a little national defense and maybe taking care of the interstates... the rest of it - just leave alone.

I will have fun... we will poke through the theoretical promises from Obama's campaign that have turned into broken promises, we will envision a nation of Tea-Parties on July 4th, and we will introduce a radical idea into the next federal election cycle -- morality.

If you're in upstate come join us. Tickets are $99 each, $150 for two. Call 422-1675 for information and reservations. And I'm supplying a little personalized gift to everyone in the hall...

Tea Day: FOX NEWS beats ALL other Cable COMBINED!
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 12:33 AM

Ha-ha...

CNN's Howard Kurtz last Sunday finally admitted what the world already knew. That CNN was stupid too ignore such a huge moment in history and not cover the growing angst that led to the Tax Day Tea Parties.

Well last night... Fox News was the one laughing all the way to the bank. Outscoring a larger audience than all of the rest of the cable news networks COMBINED...

FOXNEWS 3,390,000
MSNBC 1,210,000
CNN 1,070,000
CNN HEADLINE 909,000

Actually with some 201,000 people MORE than the other networks combined FoxNews could have filled GIANT Stadium three times over.

White House went under LOCKDOWN because of TeaParty? LOLOLOLOLOL
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 5:50 PM
SCARED OF TEA
LOCKDOWN!

Today some tea party activists threw a few tea bags over the fence at the People's House (also known as the White House).

This vile act of villainy was met by an ultimate act of naval seeking, clench-fisted, closet hiding...

So they put everything under lockdown... LOCKDOWN over a few tea bags. They called out the robots, and shut down the DC Tea Party.

King George uh I mean President Obama had better familiarize himself with Tea Bags. If today's "failures" of 2005 rallies of citizens all across the country are any indication, he may be seeing this stuff in his sleep before long.

And if he does not soon renounce the Dept of Homeland Security's stupidity, he may be seeing a good number of sleepless nights... politically speaking.

Random side note, while blogging this, I'm catching the coverage of the nationwide tea parties. They turned out somewhere between 500-750 people at the one nearest Tupelo Mississippi today. Tupelo is one of those towns that you will miss if you blink while passing it.

The turn out at all 2005 across the nation is higher than anyone expected.

I haven't been this proud of our nation since September 12, 2001.

Corrupt GOP, Socialist Liberal Dems, and the elected class in Washington DC. The message is loud and clear this day. Your days are numbered!

BGSU College Patriots!

You'd have to have been living under a rock somewhere not to know about the various Tea Party events that have been happening over the last three months since the "Cool Brutha in Chief" took office. Their attendance has been largely under reported by the media and some traditional press outlets have banned their crews from reporting on them all together.

But any time you have a few thousand people getting together and telling Congress and the administration to be a better steward of the people's money, to not devalue it, to not spend it on useless items of political graft, and by all means to stop taxing it at higher and higher rates, then you've got a supporter in me.

I'm SUPER pumped that on Monday April 20th the College Republicans of Bowling Green State University have invited me to come keynote their "Tea Party."

We will rally all who show up to tell President Obama, and the leaders in Congress to stop the punitive taxation, and to allow "We the People" to fix our own economic problems. And we could... if the corrupt and selfish clowns in Washington would simply get out of our way.

We don't believe, nor do we want more help from the Federal government. Every time some is offered it comes with strings we were never told about, limits our freedoms, and ultimately steals our confidence.

This is America, give us equality and freedom for all, and we'll do just fine!

So if you're anywhere from Dayton to Toledo on April 20th, COME to Bowling Green State University's "Tea Party." I'll shake your hand and sign books after. There will be a ton of media happening in your area to tell you more and you can check the BGSU College GOPs website for updates as well.

Remember those FBI files Hillary "lost?"
Posted by: Kevin McCullough at 3:16 AM

"Obamas...my BOY!"

It appears that the newest tidbit from the campaign trail is that Hillary has returned to her use of secretive information against her opponents. Or as Novak points out - restraining herself from the use of it - it give her the upper hand, to make her look prudent, and to make Obama look like she owns him - you know the new Democrat plantation style.

After all it was the Democratic Party that began the KKK. It was the Democratic Party that encouraged lynching, burned crosses, church bombings, and voter intimidation. It IS the Democratic Party that keeps a permanent underclass of low income poorly educated people - poorly educated and low income so that they will vote for them out of necessity. Yes the present day Democratic Party is actually very little different from the party of the 1870. Hillary's the new plantation owner and Obama can be her house slave - as long as he's good. If not - the little file she has started on him will come in handy when she decides that she will kick him back out into the fields.
