Fact of the Day

This year, the government will borrow 46 cents of every dollar it spends.  I don't even need to say another word.

"Hi I'm a SCROOGE, and my name is Barack Obama!"

Cool!

DVD's to Heads of State, and iPod to the Queen of England filled with his own speeches, but wait he's even more chintzy with his daughter's school:

The sordid details of President and Mrs. Dollar Store:
This past weekend was the Obamas’ first chance to participate in the Sidwell Friends School Dollars for Scholars benefit, and some families who remember the Clintons’ support are disappointed in the Obamas’ first showing.

According to a source with ties to the school, the only items up for bid from the Obamas included a signed copy of the Rolling Stone issue featuring the president and a signed copy of the January Vogue that featured the first lady.

Bill Clinton donated an afternoon of golf to the highest bidder that went in the thousands when Chelsea attended the same school.

Homie's got no game when it comes to gift giving... none!

Ok... who's the bigger failure between these two?

Not really "wow'in" 'em...

If Barack Obama has had a rough start to his presidency, and it's easy to say that he has. In fact he's made the nation weaker economically than if he had not taken any action at all. (That left little to be desired by his opponents.) Then he adopts the exact same stance on detainees, Gitmo, and the War on Terror as his predecessor. (Which ticked off his friends.) All in all, lots of (*blink blinks) and plenty of (*gulps) for us all to be underwhelmed by what we thought was the product of the second virgin conception in history.

Maybe his rough start has been so colossal that the strike outs of his colleagues are going unnoticed all together. But let's just say that Hillary ain't exactly hitting it out of the park over at the Department of State.

Her task this past weekend was to go to China begging them with hat in hand to buy up more of our quickly devaluing treasury bills.

The problem is they don't wanna buy any more. Especially when they have seen what President Obama has just done by way of financial policy to the American dollar. Our currency, once he's printed enough to pay for everything he just signed into law will be on its way to becoming about as valuable as the Zimbabwe, Haitian, or Somali currency...

Stock up on some gold friends, the Ron Paulnuts were telling us it was a poor situation PRIOR to the bailouts, but now everyone will be seeing it for themselves... China isn't buying it nor our debt. And wise Americans would look at the rationale why... and follow suit.

Ever wonder if you could have decorated that basement for only $10?

Wonder no more!

Bonus: How many Star Wars references populate the room?

Blacks feel inferior, Schools are Prisons, Ministers are Crooks

2pm:
I don't understand why everything I fail at - is always someone else's fault. Now black  people not voting for Obama is because of an inferiority complex: "You know, there's always that doubt in the back of the minds of people of color. People who've been oppressed and haven't been given real opportunities. That you never really believe. That you believe that somehow, someone is better than you. You know, deep down inside, you doubt whether you can do it, because that's all you've been told, is "no, wait." That's all you hear, and you hear it from people who love you. Not because they don't care about you, but because they're afraid." I know that elements of racism do still exist in America. As the father of a special needs African-American son I worry about the world he's stepping into. I reject Mrs. Obama's ideas and will not allow my son to be affected by such a fear. 800.345.WMCA.

3pm:
I have a dilemma. I believe that Government should not harrass or invade the privacy of my children. But what about when other accountable adults don't do their job? Breathalyzers and pad downs, micro-chips for GPS tracking, metal detectors with bars on windows. Is it school? Or Prison? I don't want Government invading my child's privacy. I'm a responsible parent - and my child should have the right to live in freedom - as long as their own personal actions are moral. You probably disagree with me, or maybe you don't. (And 73% of YOU agreed, only 26% said use the technology to keep them safe...)

3:20pm
The United States Senate is taking an interest in how much a pastor makes... so at the very least shouldn't we? Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa said those under scrutiny include faith healer Benny Hinn, Georgia megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar and one of the nation's best known female preachers, Joyce Meyer. Grassley sent letters to the half-dozen Christian media ministries earlier this week requesting answers by Dec. 6 about their expenses, executive compensation and amenities, including use of fancy cars and private jets. In a statement, Grassley said he was acting on complaints from the public and news coverage of the organizations. "The allegations involve governing boards that aren't independent and allow generous salaries and housing allowances and amenities such as private jets and Rolls Royces," Grassley said. So many pastor's labor for the store front churches here in New York, and take full time jobs outside just to pay bills. So deciding how to figure out the compensation for your pastor is one important job. How well are we doing? 800.345.WMCA.
