I am not one for conspiracy theories,
but isn't it interesting how each of these supposed reality shows always has a "villian" (the person people love to hate) on the roster?
This is a sure fire guarantee of getting viewers to tune in each week. It would also explain WHY Sanjaya is still on the show, or for that matter,
WHY he got on there to begin with! My husband is convinced that these shows are pretty much
"pre-determined" by the producers ahead of time, and that voters only THINK they can actually change the outcome. Who knows? I think he has a good point. At least shows like Dancing with the Stars make you think it is more fair when a person can only place a total of five votes per phone (not per person.)

I'm not one for conspiracy theories,
but it seems like these tv reality shows, including American Idol, always have a "villian" (the person people love to hate.) This creates ongoing interest and guarantee viewers coming back week after week. This would help explain WHY Sanjaya is still on the show, or for that matter, WHY he got there to begin with! My husband is convinced that these shows are already decided ahead of time and that viewers just think they have power by voting. Who knows?
At least Dancing with the Stars only lets a person vote a certain amount of times per phone.
That at least seems more fair.

I am not one for conspiracy theories,
but it always seems like they have at least
one "villain" (the person people love to hate) on each round of American Idol (same for Survivor, Amazing Race, etc.) This is a formula that works to keep the interest of viewers and to keep them coming back week after week. My husband is convinced that this is pre-planned by the producers, which would explain why someone as bad as Sanjaya would continue to stay on the show (or for that matter WHY he got there to begin with.) Who knows? I just wish they would limit the calls to 5 per phone like "Dancing with the Stars" does since this seems more fair in the long run.

Stick a fork in Rudy
These past few days somebody's spin doctors have been giving us a taste and very possibly giving Rudy a warning about running for President. This guy has a lot of skeletons and New York's Mayor gets much more media coverage than any other mayor. Just imagine the volumes of clips they have on this guy. Why else would they be coming out with it so early? Wait til we see the good stuff, wait until they comb the financial transactions of his businesses and those of his buddies. Just wait because it's coming.

Major problems with TH
I haven't been able to post comments for two days. Could be trouble. The gods first drive to madness those they are about to destroy. I wish someone would at least post an explanation and status updates.

Founding Fathers would be sick
One of the major protections from tyranny, as set up by our founding fathers, was supposed to be freedom of the press. I would bet that they are turning over in their graves as these supposed guarantors of liberty actively work to undermine and destroy this country.
Thank goodness for talk radio, and alternative/new media. At least now the facts have a good chance of being brought to light. NYT, WaPo, ABC, etc, etc etc have abdicated their objectivity. It has been traded so they can be blatant cheerleaders for whatever pet cause hollywood and the liberal left have decided on today.
Not what is best for this country, just what they think will make them feel good today.
