"The Problem Is, That's Not What Happened"
Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 9:02 AM
CBS News destroys Hillary's "sniper fire" dreams.  Christopher Hitchens described Clinton's embellisments during last week's interview:

CH: You remember the trips she said she made to Bosnia under sniper fire?

HH: Oh, yes.

CH: The one where it’s too dangerous, the President better send the First Lady?

HH: Yes.

CH: Nine hours total in Bosnia, at Tuzla Airport. I was in Tuzla at that time. It was well known to be the safest place in Bosnia, the only place there wasn’t really any serious fighting. A very nice place, a very civilized place, by the way, known for its coexistence between Croat Serbs and Muslims and so forth, but now that we can read what was behind her extraordinary claim to sort of have been ducking bullets in Bosnia on our behalf, I can’t wait to read the rest of it. That’s as far as I’ve got so far, but it’s exactly what you would expect – grandiose and petty in the same breath, a complete portrait of Mrs. Clinton.

What a strange campaign.  Hillary remembering events that didn't happen, and Obama forgetting sermons he wish he hadn't heard.

Memories, and Recollections,
When wanted to Join the Marines?
Actual joint military service
Hillary and Dixie Peakie,
Then when wanted to be the NASA gal,
Hillary and Brobby the Astro-not twins!
Sir Edmond Hillary,
Comrad Hillary and Sinbad,
which do you say
is the Comedian?
Is a Comedian to be believed?
Reflection of those progressive
moments to be born
continiously in the memory
of the comedian.
Is the comedian human?
paddy o'furniture writes: Tuesday, March, 25, 2008 5:43 PM
In response to being exposed.....
...as a fabricator, Hillary said today, "I'm human..."

More lies....!!!
We the People writes: Tuesday, March, 25, 2008 5:12 PM
Willing Suspension of Disbelief
At the time, Sen. Clinton claimed that she had to willingly suspend disbelief to listen to the Congressional testimony provided by General Petraeus. Now, it turns out, WILLING SUSPENSION OF DISBELIEF is required of all of us when we listen to Senator Clinton's recollections of her memories as First Lady.
Roger writes: Tuesday, March, 25, 2008 3:17 PM
This is so unfair to poor Hillary.
For more than a decade, the LeftStream Media have covered for her many lies, and all of a sudden they expect her to tell the truth? You can't change the rules in the middle of the game. It just isn't right.
Roger writes: Tuesday, March, 25, 2008 3:10 PM
I can see sending Hillary
but I don't think Bill would have sent Chelsea anywhere dangerous.
paddy o'furniture writes: Tuesday, March, 25, 2008 2:54 PM
Clarity
Unfortunately, she had seen all the news reports about Capt. Scott O'Grady. Crawling under rocks came naturally.....
clarityseeker writes: Tuesday, March, 25, 2008 2:37 PM
paddy...
Is there any truth to the rumor that Bill gave the coordinates of Hillary's whereabouts to the Bosnians?
Just wondering.
paddy o'furniture writes: Tuesday, March, 25, 2008 2:15 PM
I can believe she was under fire.....
....in Bosnia....but apparently, our guys missed....!
Dustoff-507 writes: Tuesday, March, 25, 2008 1:46 PM
news alert
Brob suffered a CVA today after learning that Hillary was really a man and is also Army sinper. LOL.
MaryStella writes: Tuesday, March, 25, 2008 1:33 PM
Surprise, surpirse!
Ocean of memories,
keeps records of yesterdays,
When upwrought with confusion,
Are truthseeker's blessing upon OhBama?
Verily, parching lips,
loitering stream of Hilliary lies,
Blossoms fields of lilies of chaos
springing, RUSHING into;
a new era of chaos
paddy o'furniture writes: Tuesday, March, 25, 2008 12:08 PM
How come when a Clinton does it.....
....it's mis-speaking, but when anybody else does it, it's a bald-faced lie.

I guess that's because, as a certain music mogul said, the Clintons lie so easily....without a second thought.
Dread writes: Tuesday, March, 25, 2008 12:03 PM
Meh...
It depends on what the meaning of 'under sniper fire' is.

You see, I'm sure there were some snipers somewhere, and a few of them had to have been on the upper floors of buildings, and some of them were probably cold and started a fire, so technically Hillary was under these sniper fires...

Kind of like that time I was traveling through Siagon in 72 and ran into Charlie.

Of course, it was Little Siagon, I was driving a '72 Ford, and rear-ended a truck driven by a guy named Charlie, but you know, technically that counts as foreign policy experience.
wardmd writes: Tuesday, March, 25, 2008 11:44 AM
So, she mis-spoke...
Oh, come on... It's obvious that she "mis-spoke" (just like she mis-spoke regarding the "Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy" against her husband [and herself]).

Clearly, she doesn't have the "intellectual capacity to be President" (as she cannot recall facts regarding whether or not there was sniper fire, if there was or wasn't a "reception" at the airport, what happened to the Rose Lawfirm Billing Records, who hired Vince Foster, whether or not SHE was involved with the firings at the White House Travel Office, etc., etc., etc.).

So she's willing to say and/or do ANYTHING in order to become President (don't trouble me with FACTS).
Bobber writes: Tuesday, March, 25, 2008 11:20 AM
About Minor Blip?
So Hillary Clinton declares her exaggeration lie or mistatement a "minor blip"? Any yet if her exaggerated story got through and was never challenged can she honestly say she wouldn't be considered to be a great courageous American hero unflinching in the face of danger? So does the creating of such a major good reputation qualify as a minor blip. Funny how something so minor can produce something so great if in fact it was so minor to begin with. Hillary how about you let the people decide what it was and not yourself. Some might suggest you've got a conflict of interests in the one making such a statement.
Roger writes: Tuesday, March, 25, 2008 10:43 AM
Oops
Should have been "before Nixon became president"
Roger writes: Tuesday, March, 25, 2008 10:42 AM
So what is the "change" part?
"Hillary remembering events that didn't happen, and Obama forgetting sermons he wish he hadn't heard."

Sort of like Kerry "remembering" listening to Pres. Nixon in Cambodia - weeks before Noxon became president, Al "remembering" inventing the internet, and Bill "forgetting" several sexual encounters. So what's this "change" the Dems keep talking about?
