Rezko, The Obamas and Hillary

Dems cannot be happy tonight. Hillary shows that Obama is toast in another midwestern state, but she can't overcome a 90% plus African-American vote for Obama in North Carolina, showing that the key portion of the Democratic base is not bailing on Obama.
But don't look for Hillary to bail, at least not until the final primaries are held and the Tony Rezko trial verdict in. (Final arguments open Monday.) If Rezko walks, the chance of another devastating revelation about Obama goes down.
But if Rezko is convicted and is facing a long stretch in jail, won't he have to think long and hard about naming names in order to limit his years in federal prison? Clearly Rezko and Obama are close. That's a huge potential nightmare for the Dems, and Team Hillary won't be shy about underscoring the dangers of an unfolding scandal consuming Chicago politics.
Then there's the slowly spreading impact of Michelle Obama. The more voters hear her rhetoric, the less they are going to want her husband in the White House.

A push is an Obama win Even K-Lo knows that:
http://corner.nationalreview.com/post/?q=ZDMyY2FlMTc4NmJmZD g1NDZiZGYzMjNjZGI4YzEzMWE=
But not an overwhelming win.
Pressure will mount on her thighness, Hillary Clinton, to abdicate her self-annointed devine right of rule. But I suspect she is willing to allow the mob to storm the palace than give up.
The good news from the GOP perspective is Obamanuts hate Hillary's guts and visa versa.

Kenny Boy Lay didn't seem to hurt Bush. If he hadn't died he was facing a long jail term. OH! I forgot it is different if the criminal is republlican. |
|
Of course Ken Lay gave money to Clinton, Schumer, and other Dems. But hey, contributions are contributions.
And until Enron did its meltdown, no one on the outside (and apparently most of the employees) had no idea there was a problem. Unlike Ayers whose terrorist bonafides are well known.
Personally, I would have enjoyed seeing Lay go to prison, but I hear hell is not a particularly nice place either. |
|
|
because she is the one person from whom Obama can't distance himself and whose rheteric will cost him the whitehouse. Forget rezko, wright and ayers - Michelle is the gift McCain has been waiting for and Cindy will be like a rose compared to a thorn. |
|
A clear pattern has emerged. Barry can count on the votes of blacks, some college kids, and the latte liberals. In states where there is a critocal mass of these three groups (North Carolina, Mississippi, Vermont, Maryland, Washington), he does well. In all the other states (Indiana, Ohio, Texas, California, Pennsylvania, Florida), he loses.
I know the Obamabots think the Hillary voters will eventually warm up to Barry and Michelle. Maybe a few will, but a decisive number won't. They will quietly vote for McCain and then vote for their local Democrats. November will not be all that close.
After McCain wins, we will have to endure the Keith Olbermans, Anderson Coopers, and Chris Matthews of the world call America 'racist'. Of course, we won't hear a peep from these people about why 90%+ of African-Americans voted for the half-black guy.
|
|
|
but Rezko getting convicted and then rolling over on Barack Obama? Jeeez. Talk about a little mud raking! |
|
I would find it sweet music to hear Olberman, Matthews and Cooper whining like little girls in the face of a McCain victory.
But tonight is a mixed bag. Some good news. Some not so good news. |
|
“This primary election on Tuesday is a game changer. This is going to make a huge difference in what happens going forward. The entire country – probably even a lot of the world is looking to see what North Carolina decides.”
Hillary Clinton
http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2008/05/clinton-tue sday.html
I am sure she will stay in for the time being, but she is starting to act like Marie Antoinette waiting for the mob at Versailles |
|
And Clinton's Harold Ickes stays ever-classy:
“We don’t know enough about Senator Obama yet. We don’t need an October Surprise. And (the chance of) an October Surprise with Hillary is remote.”
Scumbag. That dog ain't hunting anymore.
The irony is that the big mess with Wright and "bitter" has shown superdelegates that 1) Obama can take a hit and keep on ticking, and 2) this is all they've got on him?
As for Hillary, I don't think she's been fully vetted. And I know her husband hasn't.
Update: Obama picks up another superdelegate in North Carolina.
I think after tonight's results, the floodgates will open.

Obama won N.C. with 91% of black voters. So why were they not invited to the victory party ? |
|
successes! Hang in there Hillary...Make it an embitterd to the end experience, Babycakes!
Then, after the teargas, nightsticks and paddy wagons of Denver...a ragged O'Bammy will be the nominee. Luv it. Just LUV it. |
|
Sorry, but if Rezko is convected can you say presidential pardon?
Long shot - I know |
|

If both primaries are real in honest evaluation of voter sentiments, in both states, about 40% of Clinton voters said they would not vote for Obama if he is the nominee. If that is true, Obama is not going to win in Nov. Frankly, the Messiah still does not have an agenda which he can point by point say that this is what he and the Dem Congress will do. It is all fluff so far. Michelle is a disaster as far as a spokesperson that will win friends to Hussein's campaign. The problem for the Pubs is that ole John is just not going to attack the Dems as he should. If the voters knew for sure John stood forthright against the socialist pacifism of the Dems, this would not be an easy call in Nov. But, John is too busy going across the aisle. |
|
|
What will all the democrats do now that the weaker of two evils has stroked victory to face McCain? Even Hillary has less dirt on her face than Obama. This general election will be a cakewalk for McCain as Hillary has opened the guts of the Obama debacle. Good luck loser libtards! (Laughter) |
|
|
If she did then BO truly will be identified as a black candidate in the black political tradition - far left and bitter about their circumstance. Which Michelle Obama's rhetoric typifies. BO and dems are doomed... |

dantana writes: "A candidate who has the youth vote! Their called a loser".
You mean like "Clean for Gene" McCarthy Like McGovern's 18-year old voters helped him? Like Gary hart before the monkey busiiness?
|

|
McCain is good at appeasement. He will win with 34% of the vote. Probably an all-time non-mandate. 4 years of malaise with GOP losing more seats until Jindal-Palin in 2012 when the country turns back to cons for rescue. |
|
|
How many times does Hewitt need to be proven wrong before he just gives up? He's the Hillary Clinton of the right-wing echo chamber. |
|
|
But they didn't use Kenny boy's jet to get from one campaign sight to another like Bush. What about the FBI investigation of Bushes Special Council? So much for government oversight. Nothing like hiring some outside group to wipe your government owned computers clean, don't want any illegal document to show up, but isn't that obstruction of justice. Another Bushie caught subverting justice. Those peskie grand juries are hell. |
|
|
Even though Mrs C survived the lengthening odds are inescapable. If she had any honor or dignity she would drop out now. The Democratic Party has rejected her and her husband. The Clinton's bad behavior has 'come home to roost'; once the aura of fear was broken and a viable candidate presented himself she was finished. It would benefit the party if she resigned and captured the story on the day of the Rezko verdict and took some of the heat from Obama. Every day longer she stays in the race will increase the animosity in the Dem Party for her and further tarnish The Clinton Legacy. |

King Liberal writes: "Hewitt's hodgpodge (sic) of "what ifs" seem to reek of desperation."
Aahh but there are so many wonderful "ifs" floating around Obama. Obama's voting record is short, light, absent (40%) and very liberal.
Think about it. When did Obama's negatives start to increase? It happened when Hilary moved form Obama's left flank to the middle. Thus exposing Obama for what he demonstrably is: "A radical liberal."
Long before Hillary pointed to the obvious fact that Obama hangs out with radical liberals (including of course his own wife), Obama established a ultra liberal voting record.
He has never worked across the aisle and so can not claim anything close to Sen. Clinton and certainly not Sen. McCain's record of bipartisanship.
Add to that Barack Obama's record of missing 224 votes (40.3%) during his short time as a Junior Senator.
Check the WAPo for more information on Obama's short, light, absent and very liberal voting record.

90% of the Black Vote went for Obama. Why? A no Brainer as it is Obvious. The only way to make in-roads into the Black Vote is to educate Blacks about how Abortion had decimated their ranks and about how the Democrat Party and in particular Obama's radical perspective on this is sestroying them. A movement needs to be started among Black Americans. If Black Liberation Theology comprises ~20% of the US Black population's thinking then it proves that even stupid movements can take hold like Wright's and Cone's then why not Pro-life for Blacks? Although black women constitute only 6% of the population, they comprise 36% of the abortion industry’s clientele. The leading abortion providers have chosen to exploit blacks by locating 94% of their abortuaries in urban neighborhoods with high black populations. This high rate of abortion has decimated the black family and destroyed black neighborhoods to the detriment of society at large. If Obama gets the Nomination 9 out of 10 blacks will vote for him. How do you make a dent in that? Abortion=Black Genocide needs to become a part of the Consciousness of Black Americans. It is a long shot but it is a great cause. I'm "Wright" on this one, Reverend! The Holy Spirit will Help. see blackgenocide.org |

You are referring of course to Bloch, who brought in outside technicians to erase the hard drives of two resigning assistance in the middle of a Grand jury investigation? If they didn't investigate Bloch, they would have been derelict intheir duty.
WaPO and WSJ reported today that: " Since Bloch's confirmation 4 1/2 years ago, he has been fighting calls for his ouster by independent watchdog groups. He drew fire quickly for removing from the OSC Web site references to the agency's authority to hear complaints by federal employees who alleged discrimination based on their sexual orientation, said Debra S. Katz, a lawyer representing OSC whistle-blowers."
"Complaints from Katz's clients and others ultimately prompted the inspector general at the Office of Personnel Management to begin examining Bloch's treatment of workers and his handling of cases involving whistle-blowers at other agencies. During the probe, Bloch hired the technology service Geeks on Call to erase his computer hard drive and those of two aides, giving rise to new allegations that he was obstructing justice." |

He will bash the libtard brains out this time around and set a good example of why we need conservative candidates to keep the nation strong. Unless I am mistaken, he will never withdraw our troops from conflict until it is won and the dems are not that smart as demonstrated by their sorry words. We never hear a libtard claim that we will win at any cost and by any method necessary to insure our liberty and freedom for our progeny and beyond. You will never hear a libtard utter those words now will ya?? (Laughter) |

Nah! Go Hil! |
|
In 2007, Obama moved to the left and nipped Clinton by a nose. The great bipartisan uniter is huddled over on the left about as far as he can go. Can this man appear to many moderates or Reagan Democrats? Not a change.
http://nj.nationaljournal.com/voteratings/
Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., was the most liberal senator in 2007, according to National Journal's 27th annual vote ratings. The insurgent presidential candidate shifted further to the left last year in the run-up to the primaries, after ranking as the 16th- and 10th-most-liberal during his first two years in the Senate. |
|
The Left: "America sucks, but liberalism can fix it!"
The Right: "America is great! Don't let liberalism ruin it!"
I'm with the "America is great" team. |
|
It's a long shot and a hell of a gamble but... would Rezko take a huge risk and dummy up in the hopes that Obama makes it to the W.H. in Jan. and he gives Rezko a Clinton style 'pardon'?? I wouldn't put it past either one of them.
|

What do you like on your toast, Hughie? Another right on the button prediction for Hugh "I'm ALWAYS wrong" Hewitt. Hahahahahah!! |
|
She is finished. She just won't admit it. I feel kinda good about it. Perhaps Obama is the stronger candidate. Perhaps not. I am a big McCain fan and hope he wins.
But if it ever came to choosing Hillary or Obama, I would take Obama.
Without hesitation. |
|
We have a nominee. Hillary did not get her game-changer. Principle triumphed over politics. Even in Indiana, where Rush's pathetic Operation Chaos actually made a difference, Barack lost by inches. And in NC--forget about it.
You can slice and dice the vote into its various parts, but it is AMERICANS who are voting for Barack and in November, even lower income whites will choose to confront their anxieties rather than have four more years. It's gonna be a wipeout.
Ah yes, it is a beautiful night tonight. You Republicans can whistle past the graveyard all you want--there won't be tear gas, there won't be anger in the ranks, there will only be a firm resolve to take our country back. And you will get a President who, after he is done, will have realigned the American political landscape every bit as dramatically as Reagan and FDR before him.
So, this is a night for you to tremble. Either that, or engage in worthless bravado. Doesn't matter. Pick your poison. You guys are cooked. |
|
Yup, bad night in Rightyville. Obama wrapped it up tonight. No riots in Denver. Hugh engaging in fever-swamp nuttiness reminiscent of his "Romney rising" posts.
President Obama. Has a nice ring to it. |
|
|
Boy, the voters (especially the female swing voters) will really go for that:) |
|
|
You're right, LL. It has a great ring to it.. |
|
You're a good man. I felt the same way about McCain vs. Mitt. The better guy won.
Good luck to you folks in the months ahead. Through it all, let's always remember the two reasons why America is great: the Republicans and the Democrats. |
|
Operation Chaos doing its sworn duty! Yowzzaaaa!
Too, too much fun. The Libs here, as is their way, are declaring O'Bammy president. Lemme see here...An all-black vote in N.C. and a loss in another Big State, Indiana. Has he won ANY 'big states'? Uhhh, nope. Op-Chaos marches on. I see that it has become an Obama Team talking point for Hillary's victory in Indiana. YES!
With the Dem primaries "wrapped up"(?)for Barack, can we now expect to see a more aggressive-warrior type...ya know, to get those Defend America types to vote for him? How does he start shading & flim-flamming the Retreat & Defeat promises? 527s, in the Fall, are going to have a field day smashing that outta the park day-after-day. Should be fascinating.
Keep on a'comin',Lady MacClinton! Let the Bazama forces continue to underestimate you and forget who you & Bubba are and what you're capable of pullin', Babycakes. MMmmmmmm.
I was a 'yootfull McGovern supporter in 1972 and remember well the shock, the awe, the EeeekK Surprise and Horror when he went down in landslide flames to NIXON. And, that was with millions of us in the streets! What'cha figure the anti-war turnout for the streets(except for yum-yum Denver)is currently...? 5,000 total? Shame about those successes we've been stacking up in Iraq & Afghanistan. Bummer for 'Defeatist-Let's Run & Hide From Bad Guys' types, eh?
A few more months of the delicate, sentimental, luv America Michelle. Yep, that'll help.
Too MUCH FUN! |

To be certain, this DEMOCRAT PARTY "fight" which has clogged our airwaves for months is not over yet----have not heard the fat lady singin' in my parts.
Hillary is resolute on getting Michigan and Florida to count for her---despite the arrogant Lefties here who think otherwise.
SuperDelegates---that uniquely DEMOCRAT PARTY creation---remain wholly undeclared.
I love how they look at last evening's voting results as a disappointment for "righties"----yeah, in their dreams. This narrative for them, it provides them a bromide for the ills in their own DEMOCRAT PARTY.
Some of those Ills: The shenanigans in Lake County, Indiana should be investigated for the corruption going on in that region. That county's behavior (hand counting, and all of those late-arriving Absentee ballots which should have been recorded long before yesterday's vote). Once again, example of specific Democrat Party corruption.
The final tally of the Democrat Party primary elections in Texas----have they even determined the final count in that state yet? Now two months after the event? What a freakin' joke that it took them weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks to come to conclusion on that.
The Democrat Party primary in Missouri declaring for Hillary Clinton when in fact it went to Obama----shades of the MSM declaring Florida for Gore in 2000? Yeah, you remember Tom Brokaw coming on the air in early evening (Eastern Standard Time), when he cconveyed with personal excitement, "We've won in Florida" (Oh, so you are a proud Democrat Party voter after all Mr. Brokaw--ha ha ha).
Those are only a few additional examples of the embarrassing TRUTHS within the Democrat party---that party which transferred its internal anxietites on the country in 2000 in claiming "FRAUD". Something only Democrats know all too well from within.
NOPE.....last night was nothing for "righties" other than spectator fodder. That's all. |

For a man who gets over 90% of the African-American vote, Obama has the whitest victory speeches around. Who is ashamed of?
As the focus moves to Obama, you will see more of Michele on the networks and less on C-SPAN. I sense Barack doesn't have his house in order with this woman and the two-for-one candidacy will be on.
Is America ready to be told there have been no improvements for African-Americans since WWll? How will Michele Obama react to those who say government student loans, segregated hotels & diners and opportunites for blacks have blossomed since 1945? Will she dismiss them as petty or awknowledge she was wrong and issue an apology to Americans? I see more accusations to white America than apologies coming from Michele Obama. |
|
But to, Howard Dean, you are a racist. To talk of these issues and not specifically to the candidate asnd his ideas----it is Race-Baiting, Hate-filled, and Divisive.
Shame on you, Hawk, for straying so far away from the candidate. Now you be a good little citizen and focus only on that which the DEMOCRAT PARTY Chairman will allow you to speak of.
HAWK----don't be a RACIST; choose not talk about Michelle anymore. Remember, "HOPE", "CHANGE", "FRESH", that is your focus.
Remember the good 'ol days of:
"O-B-A-M-A.......O-B-A-M-A.......O-B-A-M-A!!!... (these are sufficient for everyone) |

last night proved that Chicago politics worked for Obama in Lake County Indiana.
Yup, Obama is a politician. |

Hey JamesB insults are the MO for Liberals who deal in fantasy and lies and not facts as they are stubborn things! Since 2000 the annual numbers of AIDS diagnoses have been relatively constant, with an estimated 37,852 in 2006. In total, an estimated 1,014,797 people have been diagnosed with AIDS in America.
The death rate among people with AIDS has also remained relatively stable in recent years; there were an estimated 14,627 deaths in 2006. Since the beginning of the epidemic, an estimated 565,927 people with AIDS have died in the USA.
http://www.avert.org/statsum.htm
Nearly half of the 500 African Americans surveyed said that HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, is man-made. The study, which was supported by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, appears in the Feb. 1 edition of the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes.
More than one-quarter said they believed that AIDS was produced in a government laboratory, and 12 percent believed it was created and spread by the CIA.
A slight majority said they believe that a cure for AIDS is being withheld from the poor. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A33695-2005Ja n24.html

Obama and his wife see them selves as the the first Postmodern politicians. Perhaps they are on to something.
Critics of Postmodern thinking have variously defined it as: - “where everything is possible and almost nothing is certain." -"meaningless rhetorical gymnastics" - "deliberately obscure weak or nonsensical ideas ...ostentatious and difficult to understand verbiage." - "meaningless because it adds nothing to analytical or empirical knowledge."
Just a thought...

Rev.Wright charged the U.S. Government with manufacturing the AIDS virus to kill black people, Obama’s “former” vert reverend pastor Jeremiah Wright who stole his parishor wife and married her cited a 1996 book by Leonard Horowitz, Emerging Viruses: AIDS and Ebola. Horowitz promotes an old Soviet disinformation theme that has been disavowed by former Soviet and KGB officials.
Rev. Wright parrots communist propaganda! Just like former discredited CBS Evening News with Dan Rather does. This charge that AIDS, a byline of Black Liberation Theology, is a touted as plot against blacks has been used by people like Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan to inflame race relations. Louis Farrakhan’s newspaper, The Final Call, ran an article (December 15, 1999) quoting Horowitz as saying that AIDS is a “genocidal plot” against blacks. Horowitz, who has quite a following and speaks around the country, raises some legitimate questions about AIDS, vaccines, and the medical establishment. The U.S. certainly studied the feasibility of using viruses or germs as weapons. But the claims about AIDS being manufactured by the U.S. Government as a weapon of population control have been debunked. I told him the evidence showed the Soviets had used the AIDS charge against the U.S. to divert attention from their own biological weapons program.
Horowitz is happy with Wright & Farrhkan“I am happy to learn that the Nation of Islam’s The Final Call, a newspaper that issues Louis Farrakhan’s concerns regarding HIV/AIDS as genocide, has a direct link to our website. I applaud Minister Farrakhan, and a half dozen other Black leaders, who have grasped the truth about HIV/AIDS as a utilitarian population control plot, and have the guts to say it.”
