Subpoena Requests Snare Top Obama Aides

SPRINGFIELD -- Sweeping federal subpoenas of Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s administration include requests for records involving David Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett, senior advisers to President Barack Obama.
Among 43 subpoenas released by the Blagojevich administration Friday, one from Dec. 8 seeks notes, calendars, correspondence and any other data that relate to Axelrod, Jarrett and 32 other people and organizations.
That was the day before the FBI arrested Blagojevich, a two-term Democrat, on charges that he tried to trade his appointment to replace Obama in the Senate for campaign contributions. Wiretapped conversations show Blagojevich thought Jarrett was interested in the seat and he wanted campaign money or a high-paying job in return, according to a sworn statement.

Obama rose in the "pay to play" Chicago system. It is impossible to believe that his political career is not besmirched by Chicago machine politics.
For example, how was it that he ended up running unopposed for the Illinois State Senate seat? How did he get all the other names stricken from the ballot (including the incumbent State Senator)? It's hard to believe some money didn't change hands somewhere along the line. |

Patrick J Fitzgerald is either incompetent or complicit in protecting Obama and his cronies. Why would a prosecutor building a case, who has wire taps set up move in and show his hand before the actual crime is actually commited. Talking about selling his seat is different than actually selling it. Any prosecutor worth his salt would wait until the deal was consumated before pulling the trigger and hauling the culprits in. Fitzgerald blowing his load prematurely more than like saved Rahmbo, Axlerod, and Jarrett and maybe even BHO himself from a lot worse situation or even a crime before it happened...Look for PJF to secure a a high level position in the BHO justice department... |

But isn't that the way it is, the DemonRats get a pass no matter how crooked they are. It's too much to hope that Blago will sing like a birdie, but one can dream.
There was a time when corruption was hidden but now the DemonRATS are sooo arrogant and sure they have a lock on power they don't care. It's in your face 24/7, and a symbol of their contempt for their voters. They don't think their voters are stupid, they KNOW so aren't worried at all, just as long as the pork keeps on a comin'. |

Most law enforcement official actually try and CATCH someone in the act when they have intelligence like this...they dont bring the case before they have the evidence...Someone like Fitzgerald is smart enough to know this...the only way to save BHO and staff were to expose Blago before real damage was done....

Does ANOYONE know for sure that selling the seat would actually be a felony, or just seriously wrong and immoral.I dont know if there is an actual law, but I do know that there are other laws he has violated and maybe , just maybe , the prosacutor sprung the trap to attempt to advoid the sale that seems to have occured anyway.The thing about Dems is even when caught they dont know any other way to act but without ethics , morals, and GUILT has no meaning to them what so ever.They still think everyone was wrong for the Clinton thing, so what if he committed purjury, Dems dont have to be TRUTHFUL, only everyone else.I dont know the answer, since it seems too many in this country dont seem to care either, or the rats couldnt keep getting elected. |

...As usual, corrupt democrats will not only get away with corruption, they will be revered by the party members. As we see here, the sickly sycophants who are ever so quick to besmirch conservatives and Republicans with the slightest inunendos, are the staunchest defenders and enablers of all democrat party shenanigans. It's going to be a long 4 years - and longer because Repubs have abandoned any role as an "opposition" party, and anyone who dares show any true opposition will face the consequences of the new political coercion that's coming soon. |

Chicago thugs and useful idiots from the Clinton era presages certain peril. This would be funny if it were not so deadly serious. We need to prepare for vicious and barbarous attacks on American soil in the very near future. With Axlerod, a devout socialist, and most of Obama's cabinet being Marxist cataleptics, we are in for a rough ride. Bloggo may take a few of the thugs down with him and save us from their treachery, but the malevolent machinations of the rest may be our doom. If we survive this four years as a nation, it will take decades to repair the damage they will do.
Remember, it was democrats in charge that led to the collapse of the housing market and the subsequent failure of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. But then again, Republicans sat back and let it happen. Bush did, on several occasions, try to get democrats to increase the scrutiny of nefarious dealings by these groups but to no avail. We have the same cretins in charge now that created this mess to begin with. I hope you who voted for Obama are happy with your choice. You will certainly suffer the same devastation as the rest of us but we won't have to admit the guilt. |
