This guy is so pathetic. ACNE and headaches? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. |

Glad he is not my senator. The man is a Walking Pet Rock!
Well, I'll give him a mite of credit. He's brighter than Jax! |

Factless Bushbots, FYI, even Acne and headaches are pre-ex's that can cause you to be excluded from coverage, or rated up (pay more). It's also a fact that any undisclosed pre-ex is a reason for the denial of a claim. All the RNC lies came to a screeching halt this weekend, and the public option will soon become law. The billionaires will get their tax hike to pay for it, and the other loosers who wanted to keep the status quo will see their profits fall, and the consumer wins. |

I'm glad someone is coming out and saying it.
The fact is, the insurance companies have figured out the only way to still make money is to essentially find excuses to deny coverage. So while the number of people who actually have insurance has gone down, the number of people working for the insurance companies have increased. Why?
To do EXACTLY what Senator Durbin described, going through medical records, finding obscur conditions, and denying care.
The Acne thing actually happened. It was used as an excuse to deny cancer treatment to a woman suffering breast cancer.
Now the interesting thing was the insurance industry was willing to go along with health reform, so long as there was an individual mandate AND no public option. But as the man said, the problem with capitialists is that they are too damned greedy. They insisted that if they couldn't continue to pull the pre-existing condition crap, they'd have to raise everyone else's rates. Well, lo and behold, kiddies, that's how the Public Option got back into the room. |

Thanks for your voice of intelligence and clear thinking in this wasteland of ignorance. You;re right, and so is Durbin, and the detractors from the Right who post ignorant remarks need to have a claim denied for a wake up call. The public option will win the day, and all of America will see that it's the way to go, because the Obama Administration will soon be giving all the rapacious medical providers a "take it or leave it" reimbursement rate just as they do with Medicare, and this country will finally bring it's health care costs down. |
