Bob
Kinda like Edwards is a microcosm of the left-wing, right? Don't be pathetic.

Seppuku
Palin keeps saying that she is sure that Stevens "will do the right thing." That's especially poignant given that she also sent him her moose-gutting knife.

In fact, Stevens is a microcosm of the entire right-wing movement.

PALIN AS SELF APPOINTED SENATOR
Yeah. I like it. Can she be Senator AND Vice Pres? Let's change the Constitution to get what we want. What do you say, gang. If changing the rules works for the left, why not us?

Alaska recently changed the law
In the event Stevens resigns, Alaska's governor cannot appoint a successor and a special election would be held between 60 and 90 days of his vacating his Senate seat, according to Alaska state law.

Yea
But if he wins, and then goes to prison, Sarah Palin can appoint herself Senator.
