Jimmy Carter says McCain is "milking" his P.O.W. experience1 to get elected ...

Well, Jimmy did pretend....
....to have a brain and that got HIM elected.

Funny thing, McCain actually was a POW, so the only fraud here is.....Jimmah

'0' milks "Hills" backers for all he can
Jimmy, I'll tell you about milking the cow! When Obama won by a nose, Hillarys backers were resisting and of course he hoped his smooth talking words would win them over! So he strung them along with a probable 2nd place VP win etc,. The Obamas would only allow her that close, as a last resort. Never mind that she is the heavyweight and Biden, a lightweight, with only thousands of backers! The shortsighted, misguided Strawman offended millions with a Biden pick, he can't deliver like she can! Jim just give us five McCain flips in the last five years and I bet there is a good reason for his flexibility and change of mind! If you were fair and not narrow minded you could list a dozen Obama flips in just ONE year! Get real.

HAHAHAHAHA

You mention the economy. NEWSFLASH - TAX CUTS WORK! Obama wants to raise taxes! If Obama is elected and raises tax, not to mention the windfall oil tax, I hope you have stocked up on food for your cats! We are assured of a recession and possibly a depression if Obama wins and does what he promises!

McCain on the other hand wants to make the Bust tax cuts permanent and cut corporate taxes that would help create more jobs!

I also have not heard much from the DNC this week regarding the War in Iraq! Could that be because we are winning? Could that be because the surge worked?

Carter has cost your Democrats three elections 1980, 1984 and 1988. Want to make it a fourth this year?

HOT LIPS OBAMA, LOVES HIS WORK!
Attention, did you notice the mouthpiece "0" got away with planting one on Bidens wifes lips!
Smooth, what more would he be up to if we weren't looking, ha!
Daniel writes: Thursday, August, 28, 2008 6:08 PM
Go back to your rock Jimmie....
McCain has done the complete opposite of what the worst president in U.S history said. I have only heard him talk in detail twice about when he was a pow and that was with Leno and at the Saddleback debate. If anybody is milking anything, it is Obama milking the race card.
drokmed writes: Thursday, August, 28, 2008 6:26 PM
Carter said something?
That's about as helpful as Kerry speaking at the DNC convention.

To be fair, I do like peanuts. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Mmmmmm... hungry now...

Gonna pop some popcorn later, and watch the toga party...
londongrl writes: Thursday, August, 28, 2008 6:28 PM
Remind you of anyone?
Vietnam War veteran runs for President and owns multiple homes. Opens his convention speech with a salute and the phrase "reporting for duty." Pot calls the kettle black. Just another day in American politics.

Pawlenty Said Jimmy Carter Was Right
Not about this, but about Gore-bull warming:

In April, Mr. Pawlenty delivered the remarks that probably best reveal his views on the environment. "It looks like we should have listened to President Carter," he told the Minnesota Climate Change Advisory Group. "He called us to action, and we should have listened. . . . Climate change is real. Human behavior is partly and may be a lot responsible. Those who don't think so are simply not right. We should not spend time on voices that say it's not real."

Fraud,traitor,anti Semite voice of DNC
So this is what it comes down to the DNC proudly embracing another wack job as the standard in their party. Can anyone tell me with Obama's ties to Farrakhan and Carter's obvious resentment towards Israel, why do Jews still back Obama?

My favorite all-time political t-shirt..
...was on a beautiful girl at the 1980 Republican convention. It read:

"Why not an actor, we've had a clown for four years?"

Just perfect....

sloandog nails it
" Can anyone tell me with Obama's ties to Farrakhan and Carter's obvious resentment towards Israel, why do Jews still back Obama? "

I agree with you completely. Defies all logic. I guess they will change their mind, if Obama gets elected, and Israel gets wiped off the planet. Obama's response would be "Let's talk".
Virginia Patriot writes: Thursday, August, 28, 2008 7:38 PM
Can Anyone Tell Me?
With McCain's ties to McCain/Kennedy and Juan Hernandez and The National Council of The Race (LaRaza in Spanish), why do Americans still support him?

Marty writes: Thursday, August, 28, 2008 7:53 PM
Jimmy Carter knows about POW's
because 52 Americans were held hostage by Iran for 444 days on his watch. They were released in Jan. 1981, when Reagan was sworn into office.

Okay Vpat I get it!
Your agenda is crystal clear and I have read enough of your posts to realize you are a one trick pony.If anything you have great perseverance to get your point across, and I am sympathetic to your cause. This immigration policy or lack there of is McCain's biggest drawback as far as I'm concerned. It has given me much anxiety. This is the main reason I voted for Thompson in the primary and was devastated by the resulting nominee being McCain, but I won't throw my vote away and barring an unacceptable VP pick my vote goes to McCain.I'll take my chances with a man that defended our country over a schmuck that defiles our country anytime.

I appreciate your position. The RNC wanted you in the box you find yourself in. Rudy and Fred were not in it to win, they were there to block left and right for McCain's run up the middle. We got the result that was planned, an amnesty candidate.

That's unacceptable to me.
That "one trick" as you call it, decides whether this remains our country.

We know where you stand, but I would like to point out that at least with McCain, you know what you're getting. He doesn't feel the need to lie right in your face.
The Dems do nothing but... Lastnight, Bill Clinton put on his professional, sincere face and told the world Barack Hussein Obama is ready to lead this country. Two months ago, the same face said the polar opposite.
Did Obama have a crash course in "ready," or is Bill Clinton a slimy, sleezy liar (rhetorical question).
Obama's "policies" have been all over the map, and if you read his speech on the other thread, you will hear all about his pipe dreams (with crack in the pipe).
You may not like McCain (and he's not my first choice either) but give the man credit for at least being straight about it all.....
Virginia Patriot writes: Thursday, August, 28, 2008 8:54 PM

You're absolutely right, McCain is showing us the knife he intends to shove in our back. He has obfuscated about it enough to confuse people. Some people actually believe he has changed his mind about amnesty.
He hasn't. He will push it through if elected.
I won't vote for that.
Even knowing that Obama will be worse than Carter.
The GOP might decide to stand up and fight for Americans if McCain loses because of amnesty. It's the only shot that I see that we have to save our country. The RNC was totally deaf as to why they lost in '06, so I could be wrong.
Everyone has to make their own decision. Third party is mine.
Paddy O'Furniture writes: Thursday, August, 28, 2008 8:58 PM
I guess my point is....
....you can more or less trust McCain to do what he says. You can't say that about the other guy.

Besides, the Corleone's are for McCain...! :-)

...as always, I respect your opinion.
sloandog writes: Thursday, August, 28, 2008 9:25 PM
Alright Vpat
You have good reasons for your convictions and I respect that. I didn't mean to label you a one trick pony I just meant to illustrate your repetition of your posts. You have to do what you have to do and I will do likewise.I just believe an Obama administration would ruin the country beyond repair.
