GLAAD Comes After Perez Hilton

Well, that didn't take long. Gossip blogger Perez Hilton -- the infamous judge from the Miss California scandal -- is in (NSFW) hot water with the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), over 'anti-gay' comments he made about Will.I.am of the Black Eyed Peas.

Perez claims Will.I.am hit him (which is plausible, considering Perez makes a living out of mocking celebrities. I mean, would I be surprised if Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee or David Frum took a swing at me at CPAC?) -- but Perez's response was to simply go after him on his blog -- which would not have been my response.

This is a truly bizarre story, and now over-exposed singer John Mayor is dissing Hilton, too (real celebs secretly resent bloggers who become minor celebs) ...

Used to watch the Smurfs with my five year old son when we lived in Italy. Best I recall there was one who sure looked limp -- the one that is always admiring himself in his hand mirror. The guy who laid practical leadership on Perez Hilton is light in the sneakers too, I believe. Still, one has to admire him for smacking Hilton. It could not have happened to a nicer guy!
