I am actually listening to the candidates, since they are the ones who are running for President.
The radio shows are entertaining and most of the time very enlightening. If you don't want to listen to them, then don't. If you don't agree with Hugh, or others, don't go to his website. And yet, you all show up here every single day. Can't get enough, huh?
The problem with Obama is that since he began his campaign for President, his story ON EVERYTHING has changed three, four, or more times. With that being the case, it makes it extremely difficult to believe him on ANYTHING. Therefore, as an independent, I am voting McCain/Palin.

He has lost a number of the core constituents of the Democrat party due to his treatment of Hillary, his moveable goal line with respect to tax policy, and his most blatant blunder ‘we need to spread the wealth around’ comment. Even Kerry wasn’t that stupid…and that is really saying something. Hopefully, the secular Jews will see him as the anti-Semite and threat to Israel he is.
I am back in South Carolina and just got back from voting absentee with three hundred of my closest friends. Many of the black people I spoke with are not voting for the most merciful because of not being authentic. I think this is hilarious. Hey hey, ho ho BHO’s got to go!

Check historical polling data on both parties over the last 35 to 40 years. If one compares the polling results before an election with the actual election results each general election year, you will find that polling data favoring the democrat has always been over-estimated, and polling data that favored the republican has always been under-estimated. In other words, if the democrat wins, it's always by far less than what the polling data showed, and if the republican wins, it's always by far more than what the polling data showed. That is why McCain could win this election. The polling data consistently favors BO, but the percentage is not large enough to overcome the usual over-estimated percentages that always seem to accompany results favoring the democrat. And, if the data favoring McCain is under-estimated, which is likely, then he will win by 3 or 4 percent instead of Obama.
I don't like either candidate, but we're better off with the lesser of the two evils, McCain. At least he'll stave off the terrorists for another four years, while Obama will be waving the white flag and negotiating with them and appointing them to cabinet positions. |

The people with whom Obama has chosen to surround himself are not accidental. In his book, Dreams from My Father, he writes about being attracted to the Marxist professors when he was in college. He talks about choosing his friends carefully with a purpose.If he wasn't just making up an interesting narrative then his associations do matter and speak volumes about his own character. They should be examined. If he is his brother's keeper, as he has stated, then he should care enough to know about his Aunt and half-brother and with the great fortune he has been blessed with, to help them. It is not coincidence that brought Obama together with Tony Rezco, William Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Rashid Khalidi, Father Pfleger, Louis Farakahn, Frank Davis, ACORN, et.al. It is a measure of how he has lived his life and the choices he has made.
If these choices were made through his ideological leanings and sincerely held beliefs then he should own them and explain how they have helped him become the man that he is. That is not what he is doing, however. He is dissembling, disassociating and obfuscating the extent of all of these relations. This should set off alarm bells for all of us, if we are being honest. Either he has been using these people for political and financial expedience on his rise to political heights or he is lying to America about who he really is. Either way it deserves to be thoroughly examined by a free and skeptical press. A press free of ideological constraints that many have chosen to place on themselves. Where are the enterprising young Woodwards and Bernsteins who should be applying the smell test to Obamas glaring lack of candor in dealing with these relationships.
