Do Not Mess With Mama Lynne

Lynne Cheney went on with Wolf Blitzer today to talk about her new children's book. He then graciously gave her a chance to defend her decades-old writing in light of the Jim Webb dust-up. Wasn't that nice of him?

Luckily, he also gave her a chance to put him on the defensive about CNN's airing of terrorist propaganda. That was my favorite part.

Cheney: "Wolf, there's a difference between news and terrorist propaganda."

Blitzer: "If you put it in context, that's what news is."

Maybe so, at CNN.

Hugh's mad as he can be about this.

Great to hear someone respond with: things are good, the economy's great and Webb wrote what he wrote. The best part of the evening was that Blitzer and Dobbs took about 15 minutes to explain their position after Cheney had left. What a gutless effort. I've got an idea for a new CNN program: Broken Journalism.

Lynn's family values....
Children's books now? What a con artist..... A Republican (Alan Keyes) repeatedly calls her daughter a "sexual hedonist" and Momma Lynne stays totally quiet. But a Democrat (John Kerry) says her daughter is "Being true to who she is" and Mama Lynne runs, crying, screaming to the nearest open mic to denounce him. Yeah, that's real "Family Values," Cheney style.

C'mon now Steve, Kerry invoked the lesbian card in a completely out of context contrived manner to bolster his liberal credentials. It was self-serving nonsense and Lynne called him on it. The Virginia campaign has been repleyte with a webb of deceit and now it's Allen's turn and you run for the moral high-ground. Well, it's too late. You've been playin' in the mud too long to come clean now.

Republicans can only give lip service to family values because they have no clue what true family values are. Seeing them attack Michael J Fox for hving an opinion they did not like just shows them for who they truly are.

its about time someone took the cnn-"communist news network" to task for what they are, and fire back. as for michael j fox i believe everyone has sympathy for his plight fighting such a dred deasease and would wish him a cure but that is not the issue ,he has written himself that he sometimes does not take his meds. to take advantage of the effects to dramatize the effects so people will understand,but he also pushes democrats over republicans because they would not fund research funded by the gov. into stem cells ,therefore you should vote for dems.,this is what limbaugh was trying to get across,its like ann coulter says about cindy shehan using her tradgedy to push for dems. because no one would say anything bad because of there tradgedy,the libs use these people to get bad press and ill will toward republicans to get into power. there is plenty of research being done by the private sector into stem cells because of the money that will follow if they can find a cure that way.
