SCARY
Reminds me of the protesters in Chicago at the 1968 Democratic convention era.,And the Hippie Mmovement that i as a Chicago area native remember all too much. The groups that were in fact calling for peace and to bring our troops home Then from Vietnam and then like myself in the Marine Corps in 1973 being called a baby killer among other things,Being spat upon and all! These people were a bunch of to faced liars and radicals(to put it nicely)that promoted violence in our country while protesting a war that most new nothing about in fact most of these people were just going along with the anti-American movement of the time that some promoted in a way as to have everyone join!I never want to see this in our country again! This is why i"ll never vote for a democrat! Look at the ones we have had like Clinton who pardoned the Vietnam ERA Draft dodgers! Now look at Lincoln To & James Buchanan to JFK & LBJ.,These all are Democrats! The three worst listed presidents of the United States were Democrats Too, IE: Buchanan,Johnson & Carter.! Another thing that bothers me is that people tell me the repulicans started every war we have been involved in this is not true either as most wars our Country were involved in was started by a democratic Pesident!Like it or not this is a fact of the Democratic party which is what i have seen in the video here!SO JUST SAY NO TO THE DEM'S!

Barack & the Grinch Who Stole X-mas,
oops - I mean Michelle, keep expressing their disdane for America...& that we need "change".

The Obama's version of "change" comprises of making America a socialist country. Socialism is NOT what America is based upon. We Are An Economically Capitalistic Based Republic that Thrives On Freedom! That is why everyone wants to move here.

But, not Michelle. It takes her husband running for president for her to "for the 1st time in my adult life I am proud of my country" (Grinch Obama) Her advice to the youth of America
"Don't Go Into Corporate America!".

What a hypocritical whack job...what did she do? Typical socialist lib wanting to keep everyone down.

Barack apparently loves Cuba, just look @ the photos that have been taken from his campaign headquarters in Houston...he has posters of Che Guevera plastered on the walls!

Move to Venezuela or Cuba if that is the "change"
you're looking for!

National Politics As Criminal Enterprise
This is a joke he is as much a part of DC politics as the rest of the criminals. They are as disconnected to the people as a bank robber who is also a bank employee is connected to the well being of the bank. Homeland Security seems to be made for the so called security and prosperity partnership that represents Mexicos corrupt government to aid in the proliferation of corruption in our government.

Kleptocracy 101: This IS Reality
Bob: "When will these people ever get educated to reality."
---------------------
Reality has slapped them in the face. From William "Freezer" Jefferson to Tom "Fore" DeLay, everyone up there is on the take -- and they only do the bidding of the people who buy them. Ask Bob Beauprez how much he and Carol paid for that luxurious $23,000 junket to Israel, and who picked up the tab (hint: a Russian mobster). Everyone has their hand out, and everyone is grabbing for the vig. The honest ones have no power to speak of.

Neither Hilliary nor mcCon offer them anything but more misery. Change is needed -- and Obama is the only one left standing (with the exception of my man Ron Paul).

Obama's legislative resume
Here's a compendium (like you'd be surprised to find it on Daily Kos) http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/2/21/164117/783

Frankly, he has a better record than Wayne Allard, and he's been up there for two terms. He has more legislative experience than Hillary.

Here's a list of substantive reasons to vote for or against Obama (depending on your PoV):
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/2/20/04749/8596

The list is a respectable one; the only real beef is that you don't like where he stands.

movement is right...what has he done???name legeslation...name something.

Movements are scary they usually = fascism!
Remember how the Germans chanted for Hitler?

I could careless what race, religion, & or gender my president is. I want a fiscally concious leader with the ablility to protect our country! Not a movement searching for groupies!

Obama, is he the one?
Everyone on that video truly wants what they believe Obama can deliver. Doesn't everyone want what he is offering? Yet, the real question to be answered, is he the one to do it? What these people want will take more than one man or woman - it will take 535 people sitting in Congress - 468 are up for election - will these people vote for the challenger in each race - do they even know who their Senators and Congressional Representatives are? Is Obama what he portends to be? First, he is one of the most partisan people in Congress and McCain has a record of working with the other side - he is one of the most bi-partisan people in Congress. Second, Obama has spent so little time in Congress and most of the little time he has spent in Congress has been on lesser committees, while John McCain has been the Chairman of some very key committees. Obama simply may not be who he says he is - clearly a review of his positions demonstrates a man so left that he might even be considered a socialist. It appears that Obama's real base is the naive wing of the Democratic Party.

Now I know why our founding fathers established the Electoral College and made us a Republic. They did not believe that the populace had the capability to vote for the President directly.

Obama will look back on this and cringe in pretty much the same way I cringe when I see pictures of myself in a leisure suit circa 1978. Now if I only had that picture of me stroking my pet rock.
Dave writes: Thursday, March, 06, 2008 5:56 PM
it's a stupid vid clip but..

why is it that so many "conservatives" despise the fact that there is a candidate that inspires hope? We are sick of politics based on hate and hostility towards everyone not in the tiny little mold that you call acceptable. It's time to take the country back from those who will ultimately destroy the world.

You're just jealous....
He's literally become the head of a movement. He's not black, he's not white -- he's a little of all of us. Wow.

What does john mcCon offer? "Four more wars!!!" "Hall-i-burton! Hall-i-burton! Hall-i-burton!" Unfettered immigration? The final destruction of the middle class? Constant surveillance? mcCon can't inspire. Sadly, he's never actually touched greatness. I voted for him in 2000, but over the past seven years, I have had an overwhelming case of buyer's remorse.

This video makes me more ill than the adulation of Obama could ever inspire: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUDR4wdvk_8
