'Dubya' Upside Down ...
Posted by: Matt Lewis at 8:46 AM
The Democrats are desperately attempting to portray John McCain's candidacy as a third-term of George W. Bush.  Apparently, they forget the contentious 2000 primary?

Either way, Democrats apparently believe McCain is too hard to defeat on his own merits -- so they must attempt to tie him to Bush.

This attempt can be visibly observed on the DNC's new anti-McCain website, which features McCain in front of a podium with an "M" sign on it.  This, of course, is really the inverted "W" that has become a symbol for George W. Bush ..

Never happen, McCain ain't gonna do it.

You're right, someone needs to say for McCain what he is not willing to say himself.

How pathetic is that? Hey, I'm all for a "respectful campaign" and all, but McCain needs to show he really is the straight talk express. Apparently, he only doles out the straight talk for republicans and conservatives. never his dem opponents.

You would think
That they could hire a real artist. This looks like something they got from the National Endowment for the Arts.

If Obama ties McCain to Bush...
...then, McCain needs to say to Mr. Obama forcefully, "I am not George W Bush, I stand on my own merits and on my own record. If you, Mr Obama, continues to paint my candidacy as a third term of George W Bush, then I will paint your candidacy as some who beleives in the anti-American rantings of your pastor and your lack the judgement in associating yourself with this man means that you are not qualified to call yourself a uniter, therfore lacking the qualifications to be President of the United States."

That's what I will say everytime Obama attempts to do this. Will McCain do it? I'm not sure; but someone needs to say it.

No, actually McCain has forgotten it. If he was truly that maverick he claims to be he would have left the Republican Party because "they left him".
