There was a moment...
when the family was on stage at the end of the speech that this video briefly catches that could have been dynamite.

Twice in the video you see John McCain bend down to listen to something Piper was trying to say. I was screaming at the TV at that point for McCain to give her the mic or to relay to the audience what she was saying. It would have brought the house down, whatever it was. I have no idea what Piper was saying but I bet you it was something cute...it sure made McCain grin. Just bringing her into the celebration there and then would have been dynamite.

Sure, some lib wacko idiot will accuse Palin of using her daughter as "prop" but it's obvious no-one was using that kid. She was loving being there and having a great time and as fearless as her mother. She certainly was only a fraction of the "prop" that Obamas kids were at Michelles speech.

Who could possibly watch that and still deride Sarah Palin's mothering skills? Piper's humble smile, her loving treatment of her little brother, her "who, me?" attitude when people applaud her...all just too cute. She obviously has benefited from growing up in a loving family. Go Sarah!

Lovely family
Sarah Palin has a beautiful family. It is so enjoyable watching her children and how they interact. It is so heartwarming to see them hold and fuss over their baby brother. This is a family that is obviously full of love for one another--just like most families in America. These people are more like us than anyone I have ever see run for national office!

Piper has come out well despite having a barracuda for a mother. I wonder who really watches them in Wasilla kids while mom is in Juneau and dad is on the North Slope? Must be an awesome caretaker.
