to climb out of his cone of silence and have Sarah's back. His silence is an embarasment and unbecoming of a patriot such as himself. |
disturb the sound of silence.
His silence only proves that he supports these attacks.
Personally, I am ashamed that I voted for the doofus RINO anyhow. Actually, the ONLY reason I voted for this ticket was because of Sarah Palin - At least Sarah would have been "only a heartbeat away".
John McCain can go to h.e.l.l for all I care. |
Sarah put herself and her whole family through hell in support of you; and you and the little wifey both turn your backs on her. You lost the race because you weren't good enough on your own to win it and deserved to lose it. With the attitude you've now adopted toward her, we really know just what a turncoat bum you are! |
I'll always honor his service to our country, but there's a reason McCain left a lot of conservatives uninspired and even hostile towards him.
This is another example of why he lost the election. He'll always stand up for liberals and their right to denigrate this great country, but he won't stand up for true patriots.
It's real annoying. |

sorry about the double post there.. I hate that. |
I said before the election that I'm voting FOR Sarah Palin. It just so happened that McCain was at the top of the ticket.
In the long run, it's probably best that McCain lost this election for numerous reasons.
I'm calling her office this afternoon to lend my support in any way that I can.
I am SO thoroughly disgusted with my foolish family and friends, some of whom are Christians, who oppose Prop. 8 and voted for Obama.
Go figure.
It's a twisted, twisted world out there.
Plant your feet firmly, everyone and stand strong and tall for the USA and the Constitution.
And God bless all veterans!! |
As a democrat, I hated Palin during the election. Now that it is over, I feel badly for her. She was asked to do something that she wasn't prepared for (not saying she is stupid) and now she is being blamed by sniveling McCain aides who don't want their reputation ruined by McCain's trainwreck of a campaign. I don't agree with her on a single policy but I think that she got the raw end of the deal. |
Scholar writes: "Or maybe he got sick of defending her stupidity during the campaign?"
Maybe that is why Sarah was out front doing press conferences and drawing tens of thousands to her campaign stop, and Obambi was hiding "Slow Joe" Biden and not letting him anywhere near a camera. |
Didn't you do the same thing to Romney as Carl Cameron did to Palin?
What kind of suggentions do you have for yourself?
...posited that it's the old Huck campaign workers that signed on with Mack that smeared Palin and blamed it on Romney...
... two birds with one stone, so to speak. Well, when you think about it, Palin is more Huck's natural political competitor than Romney is.
Palin and Huck are going after the same constituency. Romney has said he is little interested in a 2012 run.
Whatever the motivations of the "jerks," IMO Mack is one of them for not standing up for Palin after she worked her little heart out (4 monhts post partum BTW)and took all kinds of grief for trying to help Mack.
That McCain is defending Palin against the rumors because they're true?
I'm just sayin' |
sounds like some of romneys people put that out . |
if it's possible that Sarah Palin told McCain NOT to come out in support when they spoke last Thursday? I know that many times women don't want a man to come rushing in to "rescue" them unless specifically asked because it makes a woman look weak &/or unable to stand up for themselves. They spoke last Thursday and all I can think is she could've told him "I'll take care of it and let you know if I need to you to step in".
I believe he's an honorable man so it does not make sense he wouldn't make a statement condemning the attacks. So all I can take from it is that there is possibly an agreement between him and Sarah regarding the situation.
I wish someone would specifically ask her about it in an interview. |

Please read a piece called "The McCain I Know" by Mark Salter -- Mac's closest advisor for 20+ years. An excerpt:
"Every candidate for office who takes on an incumbent runs on a message of change and reform. Few live up to their promise. Sarah Palin ran against the political establishment in Alaska with the promise to clean up the self-dealing and corruption that had finally worn out the patience of Alaskan voters. She defeated an incumbent Republican governor and a popular former Democratic one, an impressive accomplishment in itself. But she didn’t just run as a reformer. She governed as one. That was the source of her appeal to John McCain."
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE...
"He holds in high esteem anyone of either party who keeps their campaign commitments to reform. He greatly admired Senator Russ Feingold and the late Senator Paul Wellstone for that reason, despite their liberal credentials and views on most issues. He chose Sarah Palin to underscore his commitment to reform and help him keep his promise once in office...
She is hardworking, intelligent, and a quick study, and he believed she would learn by study and experience all she would be required to know as next in line to the presidency."
So, McCain IS a defender of Palin if anyone really cares enough to look into it. And besides that -- Sarah is certainly more than capable of effectively defending herself. Isn't that obvious?

I myself voted for Palin and against Obama. John Mccain whose mentor was Barry Goldwater has unfortunately always been an echo not a choice on policy. And once again he's throwing a conservative under the bus and for what - so he can make up with the liberal media he thought were his friends but stabbed him in the front - the back - and everywhere else this election? |
It was a stupid error on his part, but it demonstrated his lack of judgement. I believe he let his little head do the thinking for his big head. As has often been his habit.
Having said that...he should defend her because he picked her.
By not defending her...he is admitting his error. |
McCain is a defender of Palin.
Watch Leno, and read every single quote of McCain regards Palin.
This whole "McCain isn't defending Palin" thing -- total crap!
Conservative intellectual energy WASTED on this phoney inter-party issue. |
...it only further reveals your party's total collapse. |
I find it hard to believe that we as conservatives have totally collapsed! Especially seeing as there were 58 million of us who voted for the McCain/Palin ticket! Yes, we lost seats in the House and the Senate but if you look at history...WE WILL BE BACK!! We have lost the battle but the war is not over! so to speak.
We conservatives are a strong bunch and yes, there are somethings wrong with our party but have you ever listened to Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid?
We conservatives love our country and we will do whatever it takes to make her better, even work with Democrats just because the "Republican" brand is having a hard time doesn't mean we are collapsing! There are MILLIONS of us here in this country!
Next time think before you put your fingers over the key board. |
McCain is not a attack dog and didnt do a good job in telling people that Polsi, Reid, Franks, are to blame for the mess we are in, he didnt want to attack the Democrates, he didnt let Palin be Palin, but they got almost 60 million votes, so what now, is the country ready for Sarah Palin? or maybe a Romney/Palin ticket? 2012. |

why would she associate with the man behind the leaks to discredit her?And what makes you think that she won't be the one making a vice presidential pick? |
I dont think Romney is behind these lies, it might be people who dont want to take the blame for losing, and if you dont give me names why talk about it, a lot of people said they didnt know much about Palin, but they vote for Obama who we know nothing about, dont make any sense, is the country ready for a woman President? Romney/Palin or Palin/Romney 2012, they will get huge crowds, and dont foeget about Rudy. |
Steele/Palin Jindal/Palin
You can bet your bumm Hillary will be running again. We will need a fine upstanding woman like palin to run!
Enough of this good ole boy, just men in office crud! |
I like Huckabee, but I think he will stay with his show, it will be Romney, Rudy, Palin, are the furture of Republican Party, lets get back to our conservative view point. |
by 2cents pc and the rest of thr rabid romneyites .they will do or say anything and try to destroy anyone they percieve as a threat to romney.palin outshines romney, therefore must be destroyed. |
MOST of the country regjected the her. If you want to build her up, go for it. She promises so many years of dnc control. Most of us have brain cells. I promise everyone here, I will work hard to ensure that her name never sees another national election and that I will donate the max to anyone running against her in AK. Her family needs her. I don't.
Call me names, but this has nothing to do with religion, and everything to do with the wrong direction she will take our country. |
Romney has said he is not running. Thus, I look forward to seeing who is qualified in this field. Palin the panderpick is not on MY list, and never will be. Family first. She needs to get that point. |
I want Steele to run the RNC, he will have No problem attacking the democrates, thats what we need. |
First, she needs to understand the electore REJECTED her. So many conservatives stayed home or voted for someone else. Putting a LOSER on the ticket invites LOSING. She's a loser.
Beauty will fade. Knowledge lasts forever. She needs some knowledge, but is too dumb to know that. |
idiots, even fewer people voted for romney in the primarys inspite of massive campaign spending ,unlike obama, romney could not use his finacial advantage to overwhelm underfunded mcain or even huckabee.palin on the otherhand managed to get mcain back in the race .we can and will do much better than romney . |
romney not running? thanks for the good news, you made my day!!!!!! |
her whole family went through Hell? Really? Palin knew the scroe. Why does she get a pass? because she's 'the right' religion? When you run for a high office, and your family is not the walk you talk, then the double standard is glaring. You have two self-indulgent parents, one teen expecting her first kid ouside of marriage a special needs child that needs 24/7 attention and you want us to do what? pat your hand and give you a pass?
Ethics violations. Nepotisem. shadey constrution deals by 'friends' who built home (oh, and the sports complex down the street on a no-bid contract...) Toddy, who barely finished HS himself as co-gov. Yea, that's the chick I want running MY country. |
Not at this time he's not. Guess he's smarter than a bimbo. He knows she'll be impolding about the time she loses her election in 2. She's not as pouplar as she used to be. Folks found the dirty ugly underbelly of the Palins, and they don't like it. |
I know your upset about Prop 8 passing. I understand you can't go to CA to get married now. But you know what? Romney won more than huckles the clown. When he dropped out, it took the red nosed clown 2 full months to even equal Mitt. But if that's 'winning' in your small world, knock yourself out.
Huntsman has said he might be interested. Hummm. A former trade ambassador, gov who was just re elected by overwhelming majority, governs 4 times the people and resources than Alaksa and has no children or gandchildren born or conceived out of wedlock. Hummmmmm. Looking fine by my standards. Oh, and did I mention he's an adoptive father? And, he comes from an excellent family. |
I'll be gone doing Mom things the rest of the day. |
MAYBE you will have the common decency to show the proof of all, or at least some of the nasty allegations you have made about Palin so many times...then again, probably not. Oh and one other thing; you're always saying it isn't about religion, so why do YOU bring it up in your posts all the time? As I said befor , you ARE delusional and need help. |
Ma'am, you're totally over the edge!
Read "Sailors to the End," if you want the truth about what happened aboard FORRESTAL. I can't tell you the name of the author because I loaned the book to an old shipmate on election day.
The rocket came from the other side of the ship, not from McCain's plane. McCain's plane was hit after which he crawled out of the cockpit and down across the nose of his plane because the plane was on fire. He then asked about the wellbeing of the pilot in the plane behind him and his plane captain --an airman who cared for his plane.
He then volunteered to crossdeck to ORISKANY, rather than fly ashore with others who had burns. He did crossdeck and flew combat missions when many of his peers returned to the USA.
It would be nice if you'd stop posting sheer Bravo Sierra! John McCain might be a lot of things, but he is not a coward. |
Romney/Palin.. Thats the ticket !!! The snake-oil salesman.. Mf.just seems so phoney. I don't like his show .. like a filler .. until someone like Glen Beck.. comes on . Mitt Romney isn't a dirty fighter like Huckabee and McCain were in the primary. There was no honor then. But.. going up against the "One".. a" 180." Did he even want to be President? To think he wanted Lieberman as vice ? Why does't McCain join ol' Joe in the In 'n Out party.. soul brothers !! Country first ?? More like a day late and a dollar short!! McCain could have quoted Sarah.. and got out there and told the vipers " This fine lady deserves a better discourse than this " Thats honor !!

I really feel that John McCain is going through a hard time right now, and I don't blame him..I don't feel that it was a fair race and he didn't loose fairly. It was over the top biased and very disgusting. He would have made a far greater president and she VP..he did stand up for her during the campaign. why he isn't now, I don't know, but he must have a reason..they speak often, and maybe she has asked him not to. No one knows. I would love to see him speak up for her, but that may not be what they BOTH think is the best right now. She is showing who she is and won't have him in the future to stand up for him. So there may be a reason for this that we are not aware of. I hope so, because she still speaks VERY highly of him, and that tells me they must be continuing a great relationship. I really feel sorry for him. He did not have a good campaign begind him, and now they are trying to blame Sarah for their loss! If anything, she was an uplifting, positive contribution to the campaign. Sussn Ryan |

He would pick someone with braincells and experience. ANd their family life in order. |
Unlike Ms. Palin, I read several papers, including ADN.com. That would be anchorage daily news. One of the many papers she could not name, although she does have a journalism degree.
Maybe you should try reading more than your church bulletin? |
you can also count Ginger in my little evil club that thinks Sarugh is not ready nor ever will be ready to lead this great country of ours. It's time we raised the standards again. Let's go with someone moral, has a great career behind them in both private and government sector. Smart would be a good thing too. Someone who is not trying to compenstate with outside success for the failure within their own walls. Oh wow. I'm impressed she can whip up mac anc cheese. Cooks night off?
I*'m starting a Huntsman for President blog. Romney or Huntsman. Smart guys with the morals to match up anyone. |
ithought you and pc would be hookin up in temple by now . |
My2 I don't think you would support any conservative/Republican, you voted for obama and you are in reality part of the obama lets follow the leader person. My daughter worked with and knows the family of your Romney, you don't know them, you don't know what type of people they are, yet you support Mitt whole Not heartily. Mitt Romney will never be a President, Ever! I like Romney and have met him, very nice person, kinda a girlie man, but still he is a nice person. I have gathered the Romney family are a little Kooky, now its understandable why you defend him. You are a Kook! |
Are some of these posters getting their mis- information from the grocery tabloids? SOS.. stuck on stupid !! Talk about thin skin.. flash card mentalities.. for example.. George Bush...Evil! Sarah Palin... Stupid! Or reverse that... Obama...bow and scrape! I will order a Palin bumper today.. and no one will get in my face !! |
