"We discuss Buckley, Beck, Reagan, Palin, Limbaugh -- and more."
Could you tell us who the "more" were, since Beck, Reagan, Palin, Limbaugh aren't generally considered conservative "intellectuals"?
Please tell me you discussed Burke, Calhoun, John Taylor of Caroline, Kirk, Weaver, Bradford, Meyer, Burnham, Oakshott, Sobran, Genovese -- those kinds of guys. *Please.*
Thanks in advance. |

Tomorrow's topic is "Perspectives on Atonality in the Music of Miley Cyrus." |
|
"Intellectualism" in the same sentence as "conservative movement" --- too FUNNY!!
It should read: More fiber need in the conservative movement.
|
|
Whom have you read in this regard? Michael Moore?
Just curious. |
|
Nah, conventional wisdom has it that the so-called 'conservative movement' is in need of an enema. But then, the wingnuts are doing a pretty decent job of purging the GOP of anything resembling 'conservative', so I guess you've found your laxative. |
|
You wouldn't recognize a conservative intellectual if he came up and slapped you in the face.
Or any kind of intellectual, for that matter. |
|
if you have such an odious loathsome cretin as "cicero" making you look like an idiot then your jumping of the shark is now official;
your opinion on "intellectualism" has been confirmed as utterly worthless.
Why don't you do something you are actually good at; like making a ham sandwich or something. |
