UPDATE: Coupe to Remove Pro-tem Steinberg FAILS!
Posted by: Eric Hogue at 6:48 PM

It's been a crazy day in Sacramento today...

UPDATE: Obviously the Senator has not resigned as Pro-Tem of the State Senate, and his press conference toward noon today seemed a bit peculiar. I am still convinced that there is a rift within the Democrat's 'Red Carpet' Room, and Senator Steinberg was victorious in keeping a coupe at bay today.

I have fielded a few calls today, individuals inside of the Capitol telling me that I am crazy to think that Steinberg is close to being removed - and others who are informing me it was a close call today for the Sacramento politician. Once this budget deal is signed we may find out how right, or wrong, I am today.

Here is my VIDEO UPDATE at Hogue News Indepth right now.

The High Prize of Coupes
"Well with gas prizes[!], the high cost of insurance compounded with the California emission laws [it] is a wonder coupes are still in use in Sacramento."

On the other hand, with gas prizes available, why not attempt a coupe?
Hay-soos, you might want to follow your own advice, although I must admit that the target was very tempting.
It's too bad. Having to live in the insufferable Steinberg"s district is bad enough. At the least, I was hoping to see him demoted.

COUPE
I take it that the coupe must have run out of gas before it got to the Senate building to remove Senator Steinberg.

Well with gas prizes, the high cost of insurance compounded with the California emission laws is a wonder coupes are still in use in Sacramento.

It would have been better to use public transportation... or perhaps staging a coup might have been a better idea.

A wise man once told me proof read twice, publish once and if you are not sure use a life line!
