The Jerusalem Post reports on the Hamas assault on Fatah loyalists within Gaza, even as the Israeli ground assault takes a significant toll on Hamas. PLA President Abbas may be asking the U.N. to intervene, but these graphs make you wonder if he isn't hoping that the international community moves very slowly to condemn the Israeli action --if at all:
Fatah officials in Ramallah told The Jerusalem Post that Hamas militiamen had been assaulting many Fatah activists since the beginning of the operation last Saturday. They said at least 75 activists were shot in the legs while others had their hands broken.
Wisam Abu Jalhoum, a Fatah activist from the Jabalya refugee camp, was shot in the legs by Hamas militiamen for allegedly expressing joy over the IDF air strikes on Hamas targets.
"Hamas is very nervous, because they feel that their end is nearing," a senior Fatah official said. "They have been waging a brutal campaign against Fatah members in the Gaza Strip."
Meanwhile, sources close to Hamas revealed over the weekend that the movement had "executed" more than 35 Palestinians who were suspected of collaborating with Israel and were being held in various Hamas security installations.

But unfortunately i agree with you.. Its very scary when much of the world, including much of our country for some reason just flat out hates Israel. I mean i suppose i can understand some of the animosity or jealousy over Israels prosperity, freedom and close relationship with the US amongst Palestinians or other Arabs, but why is there a large portion of Liberal America who is condemning Israel's response as somehow un even-handed or too aggressive... I just dont understand these people, Hamas is a terrorist threat that needs to be destroyed just like Hezbollah, Iran, and much of Lebanon who either supports Hezbollah or is Anti Semitic all the same... |

Islam is a religion of peace, we are told. Yeah, well how do you tell? The aim of Islam is total control of the world. Their admission or, if you will, their testament. If we, the USA, allows Islam to overcome Israel and completely destroy her, are next in line. Islam already controls, from the underside, most of the eastern world and Europe, including England. If anyone has watched the protests going on around the world, and if one has open eyes, 'no bias' one would see how much peaceful intentions are included in the Islamic teachings. One more thing, Now is the time to round up all of Islam in this nation and send them either back to where they and/or their forefathers came from. 'While they are on the streets'. Israel should clear out Gaza and the West Bank, securing their borders from Egypt to the eastern borders of Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. Oh, that should also include the Golan Heights. I say to Israel,"Go for it, don't let these {World Community} Idiots deter you. Remember G-d's instructions to Joshua prior to entering the promise land. |
