Palin GOTV Calls Going Out for Saxby
Posted by: Matt Lewis at 5:34 PM
I'm told by a reliable source that one of the Republican committees involved in the Georgia senate run-off race is launching a GOTV phone call tonight from Gov. Sarah Palin

The calls are targeted to every likely GOP primary voter in Georgia.   I'm told the number of calls is in the millions.

Note:  There is a reason that neither Bush nor McCain are doing the victory lap for Saxby.  It is Sarah Palin who is the rock star with the base right now.

GOVERNOR SARAH PALIN
I think Sarah Palin is a talented politician, Palin will be the front runner in 2012,
a legitmate candidate with the executive experience needed to lead our country.

Obama ran for President...
for 4 years.....

What a coincidence!!!!

that was exactly when he was elected to the US Senate from Illinois...........

Less than 4 years in Senate......

Showed up for work a grand total of 145 days....

Voted "present" 160 times.......

But did ask for 950 million dollars in "earmarks"......

And the Obamabots are worried about whether Sarah Palin has bneen doing her job??????

Puh-leeze........

Wanna bet?
You and whose army states that Palin is "train wreck". First, guys like you were the ones fighting against Ronald Reagan in both 1976 and 1980. Whom does history remember now? Whom is the most like Ronald Reagan since he left office? Sarah Palin is. Who says so, Reagan's own son Michael Reagan and he ought to know! If I am so alone in my love for Sarah Palin why are thousands waking up on a cold morning just to hear her speak and get her autograph? If I am so alone why does every national poll concerning the GOP in 2012 have Sarah Palin as the top pick for the GOP base? If Sarah is such a train wreck why is Chambliss having Sarah campaign for him all over Georgia? So I'll stand by what I wrote and you can continue being extremely naieve.

"In thinking that this star power could fade is being naieve [sic] in the extreme."

Really? Thinking that something COULD happen is "naive in the extreme"? Face it Allen, you are so blinded by your love of All Things Palin, you just don't know what you're talking about.

Also...she's a train wreck. :)

Is there another contender?
I sometimes can not help but wonder if Matt Lewis is not another status quo Republican who does not see Sarah Palin as the future of the Republican Party. Notice that Matt states at the end that she is the rockstar "for now". If I am right he is in good company because no major Republicans ranging from Newt Gingrich, Hugh Hewitt, Jeb Bush, to numerous Republicans running for the RNC chair, and even her fellow Republican Governors. In thinking that this star power could fade is being naieve in the extreme. Consider this scenario: at 8:30 am Sarah Palin was scheduled to speak in Georgia and something astonishing happened before she even arrived. What? Thousands of people got up hours earlier to wait in line on a cold morning to see this woman. Can you name another Republican who has this kind of star power? Name one Republican since Ronald Reagan who has had or who currently has this kind of love affair with the Republican base. Does Matt and the other GOP powers that be honestly think that non-charismatic Bobby Jindal can pull this off? One is seriously delusional if they believe this. Sarah Palin has natural star power and this is something one cannot buy, it is a gift plain and simple.

Day job?
I thought Caribou Barbie had a job -- one she neglected for weeks during the campaign:

"It’s now been three weeks since the election. And Sarah has yet to set foot in Juneau. Next week she’s off to Georgia. And from there up to Philly. By the time she gets back to Alaska the Holiday Season will be full upon her. So it’s unlikely that Sarah will spend another night in the Governor’s Mansion until the Legislature returns to Juneau in January."
