Rudy and Hillary
Face it Rudy is a Hillary clone dressed in a skirt rather than a pants suit.

Forget Robertson. Rudy is no liberal.
Let me put it this way: Rudy Giuliani is probably twice as conservative as George W. Bush. I like the president, but what difference did his values make? To give just a few examples: They did not help him to get the CIA or the State Departments to execute his policies instead of undermining them. The president has such a sentimental disposition towards his fellow man that he did not secure the border in a time of terror threats. Nor did he fire George Tenet when he had the chance. Instead he appointed Karen Hughes, looked into Putin´s soul, let Ted Kennedy rewrite education policy and is now bullying Israel to make concessions to terrorists. All of that matters, while on abortion the president has very little influence. It´s all talk.

Rudy is not sentimental. He´s hardnosed. A liberal could not have turned New York around, against the bureaucracy, the media, the entrenched interests. Economic policy, social policy, security: Rudy got results. And the results are conservative. That´s why the left hates him.

Pat Robertson was already about 2 years
from a straight jacket! Rudy should be charged with "The manipulation of a mentaly handicaped individual."............Robertson want's to return to those posh "Whitehouse Diners" and be treated as if he were relevant....Even Barry Goldwater went a little nutty in his old age.

Loony and Fringy
Hah! Even Ingraham sees the howling hypocrisy. But hey, par for the course.

The reality in this is that Rudy is now being endorsed by the poster boy of the loony rightwing evangelical fringe. He's on record for denouncing everything Rudy stands for and is, and for ordaining assassinations willy nilly.

He's a nutjob - not to put too fine a point on it - and backing Rudy makes PERFECT sense.

Rudy is poison!
I voted for Bob Dole and held my nose to do it and I would do the same for Rudy if "forced." However, if Rudy is the nominee I know a lot of social conservatives who will do the same thing thing they did in 2006- sit on their hands and find something else to do on election day.

Pat Robertson betrayed 50% of what he purported to believe in.

Nominate Carefully

There are millions of us who usually vote GOP who WILL NOT vote for Rudy, for a variety of reasons. For me it's the amnesty issue, for others it's life, still others, homosexuality or gun rights. Whatever the issue is, it is a bright line we will not cross. No amount of Hillaryscare, intimidation, name-calling or cajoling will get us to vote for Rudy. He's in the wrong party. He is a liberal. I don't vote for liberals. When he loses, don't blame us, we tried to warn you. Flipping off half your voters is not a winning strategy.

Newsmax
Newsmax has an article that indicates CAIR is very upset with Rudy over this endorsement. Rudy may lose support among Middle Eastern Business families.
Robertson has made many highly anti Muslim comments in the past. Some are pretty arcane.
