Does anyone have the $$$ on the other candidates? Granted, Mitt appears to be laying a whooping on Edwards in terms of online donations (who knows about snail mail), but there are more than two pieces to this pie.
If you have it please feel free to send it my way, slim_nick at hotmail dot c0m. Thanks in advance. |

Rat and friends ... 'did you even consider that these posts on Romney might be justified ... because they are warranted .. and proved by the numbers ....
The fact is that they are justified ... even the DNC proves it in their press releases .. what is their "put down" for candidate Romney ??? .... it calls him "Smooth Talking Mitt" ... even his opponents in an attempt to malign him do it by sarcastically pointing to an attribute ...
Yes .. politics is like sports for the old guys ... and yes it is won by the numbers .. |

Who's going to be the one to swing Chicago and Illinois to Mitt? Remember that JFK only won in 1960 because of Mayor Daley, so the comparisons between Mitt and JFK are meaningless until a similar lying thieving vote stealer can be found or until the public can in fact be swayed to ignore Mitt's Mormon background.
For the record, being a Mormon now should be like being a Northerner or Southerner and maybe that'll be the case, eh!
Course, being from Mass. might preclude Mitt from needing the help of a Mayor Daley since Mass. has had somewhat clean elections, as least in the years before 1960!

Are you kidding me? Five blog post on Romney in one day, three of them telling us what a great fundraiser he is? Nope, no agenda here. |

Oh my gosh, Mitt is just the absolute most! Golly, he's great! Have I mentioned lately that I once worked on a campaign for him? I was SO fortunate. My life was changed dramatically when he looked at me once in the campaign headquarters. It still gives me tingles every time I think back upon that magical moment. Shudder! All the other potential Republican nominees should quit now before they are embarrassed before the awesomeness that is Mitt. ----
Hugh/Dean, It's really bordering on ridiculous how obvious the Romney slant has become on this web site. Every story about Romney is spun positively and many (not all) stories about the other nominees are spun, if not negatively, then at least in such a way that Romney ends up looking better. As Hugh's said over and over, bias isn't bad, but it needs to be stated/transparent. Physician, heal thy self. |

I find it amusing that the New York Times today decided to run an above the fold, front page story announcing to everyone in America that (GASP) Mitt Romney's a Mormon.
Didn't they get the memo that this is a non-issue, and doesn't matter in the overall scheme of things? Evidently not. Maybe if they spent more time covering the news, less time blowing classified programs, and less time editorializing the stories they claim to present they might actually grow a brain, and go back to the old school of journalism? Maybe?
And no, I'm not holding my breath over the Times' locating a brain cell.

... and say:
YOU TOO can be a Romney Fundraiser: http://www.mymanmitt.com/mittid.asp
Truth be told there's been an extraordinarily original approach from the Mitt campaign to take advantage of a core grassroots and blogosphere behavioral trait. Namely the tendency towards self-aggrandizement.
Obviously, there's no kick-back for raising X amount of dollars, but there is a system of recognition that is both appropriate and appealing for even a novice politico to get involved.
It just works apparently. |
