African Press Publishes Shocking Michelle Obama Quotes?

Update: I'm just got confirmation this API report is completely UNTRUE. It's been popping up on lots of sites and Michelle Obama's "quotes" about white racism are made up and FALSE. An official from Barack Obama's campaign told Fox News reporters Michelle Obama never made the call and never said those things.
African Press International, which I have not heard of until today, is reporting that Michelle Obama phoned them to quiet rumors perpetuated by "American white racists" that Barack Obama is not an American citizen.
See below:
MICHELLE OBAMA: “African press International is supposed to support Africans and African-American view,” and she went to state that, “it is strange that API has chosen to support the racists against my husband. There is no shame in being adopted by a step father. All dirt has been thrown onto my husband’s face and yet he loves this country. My husband and I know that there is no law that will stop him from becoming the president, just because some American white racists are bringing up the issue of my husband’s adoption by His step father. The important thing here is where my husband’s heart is at the moment. I can tell the American people that My husband loves this country and this adoption never changed his love for this country. He was born in Hawaii, yes, and that gives him all the right to be an American citizen even though he was adopted by a foreigner." This is the link to to the original source. Do you think this is legit? Why would someone make this up? The site doesn't seem very professional and appears to be only created in 2006. The author of this story doesn't post his real name and doesn't provide contact information. Looks suspicious to me.

Will this Matter to Libs/Dems? NOPE! |

At the very least, it sounds like something she would say. Like her husband, she is prone to blur the facts and use the rhetoric.
Who cares if this charge is legitimate, my husband loves this country????
Well the rest of us do too, that is why we don't like your husband! |

At an Ohio campaign stop last week Obama gave a speech with a background of American flags which is quite common. However, if you look closely some of the flags are not American flags. The blue field has been changed to show an Obama seal. Yes, there are also stars but have no pattern and they do not add up to 50.
With Obama making his own seal and now this it looks like maybe he is putting some credence to the recent article by Stanley Kurtz in the National Review. Is he planning on creating an African county within the US.
I think the presence of these flags should be viewed with alarm. And I don't want to hear any looney left comments that they are only decoration. They ARE a modification of the American Flag. |

And you believe him?
Normally, this would be enough to settle the matter. However, given the immediate denials made by the candidate in response to a number of potentially uncomfortable revelations (his association with ACORN, his awareness of Rev. Wright's theology, etc.,) and given the number of embarrassing posts and stories that just quietly vanish from the Obama web site when they get noticed, it can no longer be taken as fact when the candidate denies he had anything to do with an embarrassing incident.
This may have been a bogus call, in which case, let's find out who called and throw the book at her. But it may have been a real call, and Obama is just resorting to his default defense -- LIE.
Don't take his word for it. Do your due diligence. Please. |

The fact that you couldn't discern that this was BS, honestly, shows what poor instincts you have.
Are you also afraid that you'll explode if you eat pop rocks and coke at the same time? |
I can't believe you are spreading this obviously false story.
There are so many red flags here, this story should be marching in Red Square on May Day.
Were you that stupid? Or is there some other motivation?

Amanda believe a site that can't spell the word 'innoguration' is a real media site.
It's WORDPRESS, Amanda!
Do you really think a campaign that is 8 points ahead in the polls would go around calling random bloggers? |
Please post a link to these pictures of this supposed altered flag.
Honestly, is there a full moon out? Or is it just that only the crazies are left in the anti-Obama camp?

This will be suppressed just like everything else that is not pro-Obama. Obama has held the American press & American citizens hostage during his whole campaign. Our first right as citizens has already been stripped --- Free Speech. What's the next right to go even before he is elected? Guns? |

For an example of a crazy please consult your local mirror. Have you ever made an intelligent post? You are overpaid. |

clendon & animalgirl:
the flag you're asking about is the state flag of ohio. |

Well, I just called the phone number that was posted on another website and someone answered and through very scratchy static I barely heard him say(after, "hello"?), "It is night time here"! I think I woke him up! doh!
Anyway, I believe the report that MO called them. It sounds JUST LIKE HER! imo. |
I think the pressure is finally getting to the O's and they are l o s i n g it.
To which I say, "yessssssssssss".! I am so exhausted from ALL of this! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh............. |
Hey, where's my comments go? |
I suggest you GIS it.
Morons. OHNOES OBAMA HAS A SEEKRIT FLAG THAT IS 100 YEARS OLD |
You people at Townhall will believe anything. You should have checked the source before posting such a stupid article. |
I've been living in Obama Land for my entire 51 years of life. Oh, wait, I live in OHIO. Whew, that was close.
Seriously, people, get an effin' life and it wouldn't hurt to pick up a bul!sh!t detector, either, especially if your going to hang around on BS sites like this one. |
Then why in the heck are you here? Just to make your mute points? Better leave a blog that states the facts and truth, you aren't used to it, it might make you use your own blank mind instead of the mind of the talking heads! If you don't like this blog, then don't let the door hit your butt as you leave! |
Yet another Ohio citizen is here to remind you wingnuts that the dreaded "O" flag is THE STATE FLAG OF OHIO, and real patriots would know that. You discredit your cause, and for that I applaud you. |
I can't believe this was taken seriously. A wordpress blog for a bogus news agency that isn't even in Africa? "African Press International Headquarters is based in Norway." Are you kidding me? Is critical thinking extinct? And all the pictures of "correspondents" with bogus links...Honestly, you people obviously know how to use a computer, try using your brain at the same time. And the secret Obama flag? That is awesome. That is by far the funniest thing I have seen all day. This is just sad, and perhaps the reason why Ohio, uh, I mean Obama, is winning the race. |
Clendon,
How does it feel to be in the lower 30% of the country IQ-wise (otherwise known as the Republican party)? It's an Ohio flag, you MORON. |
Clendon writes: Wednesday, October, 15, 2008 10:59 AM ...if you look closely some of the flags are not American flags. The blue field has been changed to show an Obama seal.
I doubt someone who knows how to use a computer could be as stupid as he's pretending to be. This is a typical Neo-con tactic used to incite anger amoung the undeducated, not to be confused with conservative strategies that focus on different ecomimic and social philosophies.
The Democrats don't need to target Independent voters: Many Republicans will either vote for Obama, Ron Paul, or just sit this one out. There are plenty of Republicans that are fed up and have had enough of the false accusations spread by the Palin, McCain, and their supporters. The people who are lying to win this election sicken me. Spread all the lies you want Clendon. Mission accomplished: you Neo-cons have officially killed the Republican party. Are you proud of yourself? I notice you haven't posted any comments when people called you out on either spreading a lie or being ignorant. If you were a true and decent Mainstream Conservative, you would have apologized for your "error" long ago.
Obama may not be my first choice, but at least he has integrity and a well laid out plan to address the problems our country is facing. That is something I haven't seen in a very long time and THAT is change I can believe in and WILL VOTE FOR. Unfortunately, most people don't comprehend just how much trouble we are in and will have unrealistic expectations about what Obama can accomplish, still... it's a start and a step in the right direction.
God Bless the USA and please protect Obama from these knuckleheads who have hijacked what used to be a decent party with integrity. Abe Lincoln, the reason I became a Republican, would be appalled. |

As a Conservative Christian I am truly disappointed at the amount of hatred and lack of facts being posted by those against President Obama. Where was all this noise when President Bush was slowly but surely destroying this great country for the previous 8 years. Obviously, no one is going to completely agree with any President's policies. However, meaningful, sensible objections and remedies are what is called for. Not some unsubstantiated article or "he said, she said" nonsense.
I don't agree with all of President Obama's policies and probably never will. But he is the President chosen by the people in a free democratic election. Just because your team does not win is no excuse for trying to belittle the Office of the President which is what you do when you spout useless, benign rhetoric that adds up to nothing.
Be constructive not destructive if you are such a loyal citizen ot the United States of America.
