Tom DeLay chimes in on the topic du jour:
It seems everyone these days knows how the Republican Party can stop its internal bleeding and win a few elections this November. And while there are many good ideas floating around (and a few bad ones), almost everyone offering their free advice is offering it specifically to presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain. And while McCain needs as much good advice as he can get, his name is only going to be the one at the top of the ballot this November.
Thousands of other Republicans running for offices around the country have not only a chance to win, but a chance to rededicate the Republican Party and reform our country in the process...

.. of the clowns of the "establishment", Delay thinks we have to hold our nose and vote for McShame. He goes on to insinuate that if we don't vote for McShame, our local republican and, more imporantly, local conservative folks running for office will suffer.
Wrong.
The fact, Tom, is that we can vote for 3rd party or write in and still vote for our local seats in important upcoming elections. Hell, we can even leave the presidential oval blank - boycotting it entirely and STILL manage to vote for imporant local positions.
I find it offensive that Tom thinks we are that stupid. Ironically, I am very excited about state and local elections so I CAN GET THE RHINOS OUT OF OFFICE.
Peace. |

are we going to be subjected to? It seems like the GOP is going to keep recycling yesterday's losers whose message always seems to be "blah-blah-blah-blah....vote for McCain". We need to clear the deck and start all over with new leadership that has yet to be corrupted by the DC Caligulas.
With all of the postings that show up here everyday at Towhhall, why are there suddenly so many "junk" postings like these?
I'm just waiting for the fun to begin once the McCainiac trollbots arrive. I kind of miss the old days of fighting the Ronulans, the Giulies, the Huckabots and other organized assaults by robots. Based on the McCainiacs who post here now, I doubt they have any new arguments to present and will offer nothing but the same trite and worn-out arguments the RINOs have been throwing at us for over a year. Should be fun. |

we could get Dean back here. He actually thought out and wrote his opinion instead of constantly copy/paste-linking to other work.
As for Delay, he and Newt quit instead of giving the bastage$ whatfor didn't they? I understand pressure blah blah blah but Dem/libs NEVER quit and they fight back instinctively. Our guys fold up and take the cash. |

I am going to say this, but I agree with you.He definitely help lead the GOP down the wrong path and has no credibility with me.BTW you submitted a complete post without saying you hate Bush I'm impressed. |

You scared me for a minute. I thought I lost you. |

Newt is brilliant and got us the majority in Congress for the first time in 40 years and Tom Delay was known as the "Hammer". He got things done too. Then they both quit. That sucked. They are legitimate and we could really use some more representatives like them. Except this time, I'd like to see it through completely. |

I can't keep schooling you for free. The prosecutor, Ronnie Earle, is a Democrat operative and general all around scumbag, but I'm being redundant as I just said he is a Dem/lib. Anyway, he went through 3 grand juries to try to get Delay. He abuses his office for personal vendettas which is also a Dem/lib tradition ala Bobby Kennedy and Eliot Spitzer. |
