Ignore those lazy commie moonbats that don't have a clue! Need I remind you of just who they work for? And it's not the UN my friends. Push them down, knock them around. that's what their job is, a buffer between you and their sociopathic bosses. Get Pelosi and tie her to a chair and make her listen to the true American Patriot, ME! Feminancy ought to stay at home and bake some cookies or make a baby. Pelosi care will make everybody get at least one abortion. That's all liberals can think about! How many babies have they killed today? Get those numbers up, white people. You want to be a permanent minority? Start procreating as if your culture depended on it! |
they say? Last I checked 'they' do want the bill. You may not want it but 'they' do. |
Oh, come off it, dear. Even though you've claimed you'd shoot me on sight, I still give you credit for being the first, and for a long time only, conservative to disown the child pornographers who follow me around this site spewing their filth.
Yes, I support the bill. Do I support everything in it? That's like asking if you support every line item in the federal budget: of course not. But we need something in place, a framework for the future. Some of it isn't going to work well, I absolutely agree. So we'll improve it. Just like with Social Security and Medicare and veterans' benefits, it will add to the nation's wealth regardless of what the federal deficit is.
And you're still dodging the topic. Don't you think Jillian hit it right on the head with, "yell at your member of Congress for a while. Go ahead. Try it. It feels great"? |
batshii.t crazy. No doubt about that.
Yeah. You all go and "do something." Don't think about what you're doing or saying, just go to WADC and start screaming. You'll be given as much respect as the Teabagger's Ball received this summer.
So...do you or do you not support the Bill? Still spewing double talk are you?
And it isn't how many attended the rally, but what their Congress person said to them on their little cell phone videos about whether or not they would support this fiasco.
And you didnt' answer my question... surprise surprise!
did you read this Bill? If so did you understand it?
Bottom line, vlad; the people have spoken loudly and clearly with a strong voice - THEY DON'T WANT THE DAMN BILL! So why won't Congress listen? I'll tell you why...they don't believe they are elected to serve the will of the people anymore...that is a BIG mistake, and they'll realize it when we drag their sorry a-s-s-e-s out of there and tar and feather them.....it will happen one day, belive it. You need to make sure you're not in the area when it happens, lest you become one of our targets. |
I thought I played that line very well. |
Chuckle...I was playing devils advocate...I think I'm going to get a bigger boat....and Ronna, what on earth are you babbling about? |
Hey, babe, I missed ya! Thanks for chiming in. Except I wasn't defending the health care bill, was I? And you're not criticizing anything in it, because, like Jillian, you just enjoy hollering. Well, go for it!
I'm actually holding back because the best part of this rally hasn't come yet: how many millions of people do you think attended? |
"doesn't even come close to the actual cost of the benefits that they are getting...but they deserve it because they are old? What do my kids deserve because they are young? "
I don't think I went to the doctor once when I was in my twenties, and you can probably count on one hand the number of times I went in my thirties.
Do you know what life was like for old people before Social Security and Medicare? It was hell, unless you were extremely rich. It was also an enormous drag on the family that had to take care of them. Social Security and Medicare were enormous leaps forward for the country's standard of living for millions and millions of people. The fact that a lot of those people enjoying a better life are now complaining that the government put them there is only one of the laughable ironies of the modern right wing. |
YOU SAID: It does, doesn't it? Don't bother trying to understand issues, or propose solutions, or work out compromises in order to move forward. Just yell. It's easier than thinking. Plus it feels great.
____
What a buffoon you are! You continue to defend something you don't have a clue about simply because your Messiah and his evil cohorts want it.
HAVE "YOU" read the Bill?
Do you know everything that's in it?
If you have read it, do you have a clue WHAT you read? because even the Congressmen and women admit THEY DON'T!
You might want to consider giving a little more conideration to some of the ignorant Obamao bullshiit before you post from now on; as to run your mouth when your mind is not engaged puts forth a pretty pathetic pile of misinformed, brainwashed nonsense that no one with a clear-thinking conscience agrees with. |
I'm not sure what you think you proved. But if you feel better thats what counts. See ya. |
I agree with getting rid of all universal mandates and making people get their own health insurance. The problem is how to stop goverment from meddling with the intent to destroy personal responsibility and choice. They are intentionally making this impossible. And I can't see how to avoid a transition period. |
no one willing to make the hard choices...or at least the choices that have a direct impact on thier lives. But a whole lot of 'em willing to moan and groan about those who are actually looking for a change that will work. |
doesn't even come close to the actual cost of the benefits that they are getting...but they deserve it because they are old? What do my kids deserve because they are young? Get rid of ALL universal healthcare mandates. |
Sorry for my slow responses, my typing is almost as slow as my computer. |
I'm with you on this exept for the VHA, I don't think the rest can continue to survive at any rate. The devil is in the details. Where do we make the cutoff point? Grandma and Grandpa have been paying their whole life on them exept medicaid, I'm not sure when that program started but the time is not far away that doctors won't be able to take that kind of loss. And my mother is right there, holding on to independence for dear life but I will have to take care of her very soon. |
"...If you really need it spelled out then get the government red tape severely reduced including policy mandates so people can choose their policy according to what they can afford, get some common sense tort reform to lower the insuranse premiums for hospitals and doctors, anything but let the government control it...." It is a start and I like it. |
to provide...so I did it for you. And I didn't cry 'poor me' once. |
Hey origanalist!
If we removed all Universal Healthcare(Medicare, Medicaid, VHA, NIH) from US 2010 budget, we would save this country Bln$. Medicare $453B Medicare $290B VHA $113B NIH $31B TOTAL SAVINGS: $887B for 1(ONE) YEAR!!! This would rid the country of a deficit in no time. AND THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE PROPOSED HEALTHCARE BILL. Any idea what this would do to the country? Certainly get all children to look after their elderly parents, wouldn't it? |
I assumed you were a frothing at the mouth Obama supporter from your post's. If I was wrong I apologize. The problem is nothing that will actually reduce cost is going to make it past the dems in control. These people have been attempting to make affordable healthcare impossible for longer than I care to remember so they can put it in the control of the government thus gaining more control for the government. They have no desire to lower cost and they are not allowing any input. If you really need it spelled out then get the government red tape severely reduced including policy mandates so people can choose their policy according to what they can afford, get some common sense tort reform to lower the insuranse premiums for hospitals and doctors, anything but let the government control it. |
if Democrats are doing it. Don't you Conservatives know that you lost and have no voice? It's the liberal way and you will like it or else, mister. |
Don't these far-left liberals who put Obama in office have a site of their own where they can bash each other? |
where did you see I want my free medical? My wife and I pay our UHC premiums (gone up every year) every month. If it were up to me, I would do away with medicare, VHA, and medicaid, altogether. That would get this country back in the black in no time at all. It would also remove the issue from discussion. Stop crying, stop getting angry and PROVIDE A SOLUTION!
Please "free" medical. Did you really think about that statement? |
Did you even read Andrews post? Did you read how the employer mandates would be devastating to his ability to hire full time employers? By the time this group is done the only people left with a job will be in the government or Obamas union buddies. It's you that are crying poor poor me I want my "free" medical. |
Well if Nancy won't let the debate inside...how about actually debating it outside? Instead of telling everyone your 'mad as ....', offer a solution with your outrage. COME ON! I am willing to listen if you have something more than...'I'm mad at two of the three branches of our government'. |
Andrew, let me ask you. Do you think your premiums are going to go down if nothing is done? HOW ABOUT A SOLUTION???...instead of cryin' poor me, poor me, poor me. SOMEONE GIVE ME A SOLUTION! |
"Thanks for letting me know what our representatives' jobs are. Now I know Bachmann's job is to protest her own workplace instead of writing, debating, reading, and voting on legislation."
THAT'S THE FECKING PROBLEM. Nancy Pelousy won't let there be an honest debate. She just wants to ramrod this down America's throat. |
"they're not afraid to take on not just the Democrats but their own party leadership."
Right. Palin jumped into a district that has voted Republican since the days of Abraham Lincoln and was instrumental in getting a DEMOCRAT elected. Tell me, political consultants, do you think that will help her get the party nomination? |
...but my wife and I, residents of and small business owners in Congressman McMahon's district just called his office. We let him know how we're straining to pay a portion of our employees' health insurance premiums and that the employer mandates in the bill would be devastating to our ability to continue to hire full time employees. |
Michelle Bachman is an inspiration as well as a patriot.
This nation WILL be strong again thanks to the likes of people like her.
So eloquent and she does it without a teleprompter!
LOL...Obama's "uhs" and "ums" doesn't make a strong statement for higher education...especially IVY LEAGUE.
"and yell at your member of Congress for a while"
Make sure to pound your chest and jump up and down while you yell. |
ca just don't understand that she is a 'REPRESENTATIVE." She is representing her constituents to the best of her ability. She can't get the speaker of the house to listen to common sense, so she uses another tactic. Smart and shows a BIG set of cojones, something most members of congress of both sexes are missing.
Mike Todd, MSNBC White House reporter discussed three or four of the president's basic duties yesterday morning on Good Morning, Joe. One was CinC and another was Leader of his party. Mike Todd said that being LEADER OF HIS (The president's) PARTY WAS HIS MOST IMPORTANT JOB.
Any folks wonder why we are in trouble????? |
you know the conern she shows would seem a lot more geniune if she had some suggestions that were as load as here outrage. otherwise....blah, blah, blah...more of the same.
I really would like to see some solutions to the broken healthcare system that affects everyone in this country, instead of a lot of jumping up and down and crying it isn't fair. |
I was half joking about her reading the bill. I can't imagine any member of Congress reading the entire bill but I thought TH people felt it really important that members of congress read bills in their entirety before voting on them. Has Bachmann done that yet? Was I not understanding the complaints of TH columnists a month or so ago? As for my dem buddies, I don't know what you mean. I do know I have 3 representatives in Congress and I hope that they are working in Congress today rather than spending the day outside the Capitol protesting their own workplace.
I think women like Bachmann,Palin and Marsha Blackburn of Tennesse are like a breath of fresh air. These aren't just strong women but they're politicians who know why they were elected and they're not afraid to take on not just the Democrats but their own party leadership.I don't care if they're not comfortable in front of a camera or they misspeak when giving a speech. They're strong conservatives who speak to the issues that most people care about and I'm glad to see them out there.
Bachmann's speaking out against this nightmare deathcare bill concocted by Obama and the Democrats. The recent elections were a very loud cannon shot fired at the Democrats and the Rino's.Let's not forget who stood tall this summer and who crawled through the mud.
Bachman knows that this health care bill is not worth a vote. I am sure she has read it and she has come to that conclusion. I guess though you believe that your dem buddies, who probably have not read the bill really don't give a damn what their constituents think. It is all about power and spending money for them. You must be so proud of them. |
"So go to the West steps of the Capitol today at noon and yell at your member of Congress for a while. Go ahead. Try it. It feels great."
It does, doesn't it? Don't bother trying to understand issues, or propose solutions, or work out compromises in order to move forward. Just yell. It's easier than thinking. Plus it feels great. |
Thanks for letting me know what our representatives' jobs are. Now I know Bachmann's job is to protest her own workplace instead of writing, debating, reading, and voting on legislation. I'm glad the voters of her district hired her for this tough job. |
She is working. She is working for the people, doing the job she was elected to do. She knows that this health care bill will hurt the very people who elected her and she is doing exactly what she should be doing, working to protect them. Too bad more are not doing the same.
Looks like the dems really don't care much, as long as it is spending more money and taxing more they are all for it. They really don't care what the people who elected them think. At least Bachman knows how hired her and why. |
I'm sure she has not yet read the entire health care bill so shouldn't she be doing that before this weekend's vote? |
