White House: Stimulus "Saved" 1 Million Jobs, At $787,000 Per Job

They never seem to tire of inventing numbers. After spending $787 billion, the White House will announce today that 1 million jobs have been saved since last year. That's $787,000 per job..... and I don't even want to think about what percentage of that actually ended up back in workers' pockets.
Details will be posted later today on Recovery.gov. I'm prepared to do a good bit of clicking around to see exactly who is creating jobs -- and how they're doing it -- with so much of our money.

I did. I bought a hamburger last week, thereby creating a giant wave of anticipation among all the hamburger vendors in America that I just might drop by, so they abandoned their downsizing plans. |

BO's minions' top 10 definitions of saved jobs are:
1. Jobs that have been saved (safeguarded) from abuse by the capitalist enterprize system by allowing them to be excized from that evil system.
2. Jobs that have been set aside for future use such as the civilian counterpart of the U.S. Military.
3. Jobs that have been saved from complete loss of income by extending the unemployment funding.
4. LGBT Protected Jobs, Czars, bureaucrats and military don't askers that have been saved from the consequences of sermons and prayers of the Christian Evangelicals by enacting an unrelated pedophile protection law.
5. A multitude of ACORN jobs that for one unexpected month appeared to be lost but were saved from oblivion.
6. Jobs that were almost lost due to Global Cooling are now saved for the purposes of documenting Climate Change (Global Warming) for Cap and Trade and Copenhagen's One World Order takeover.
7. Bureaucratic Jobs that were saved by preventing the taxpayer's public employees from being overworked.
8. The social impact of having less abortionist clinics and jobs (Planned Parenthood) was saved by preventing anti-abortion text to be written into the "Hell Care" bill.
9. Thousands of olympic jobs in Chicago were saved from having to be created when BO lost his narcissistic bid for the games.
10. Thousands of delivery jobs were saved by not yet employing forced abortions as does our "friend" Communist China on a routine basis.
Socialism under that stinking BO twists both the saved jobs definition and the numbers just to narcissistically look good. And, on fire, that is how they get their numbers. Send him notice:

Lots of shucking and jiving going on. Yeah all of my trucks are 2008s so they will be good for at least another year or two, my personal truck gets the most mileage pulling the 5th wheel, but the other two get abused on the ranch so we will see how long they last. |

The healthcare control bill is going to create a new government agency with plenty of jobs - and the Social Security Admin will need many people to keep up with their assignments as well as the union jobs to oversee the spending of grant money to train nurses for Unionized facilities and let's not forget the jobs to be filled with those Community Organizations who will be going out to sign people up for the Public Taxpayer Burden Scam. There are so many Taxpayer Burden, unnecessary jobs coming to a metro area far from you - exciting isn't it? |

Listened to Rush on a local radio station as I went to store a tick ago to get wife some saffron. Store is very close, so didn't get to listen to him long.
He is TEARING up Obama's numbers! His jokes are worth listening too as he uses some really wild figures to mimic those coming out of the WH. For example, the Secretary of Health has saved 5 million lives by teaching us how to cough and obama saved 500K rounds of golf by playing golf while troops are fighting a war. (Never understood the golf bit. . .)
He also mentioned that Chip Reid(sp) wrecked obama's "Saved Jobs" numbers on CNN last last night. Some organizations were reporting jobs when NONE had been created (or even "saved.")
I went through a grunch of newspapers this morning. Very few, if any, seem to believe the 3.5 GDP reported yesterday. Those who do believe the numbers report that most of the increase came from the CFC program. One economist believes the GDP for next quarter will be around one percent.
I, like you said yesterday, am going to hold off on getting a new truck. Mine only has 50K on it, but it is now around five years old and I don't usually keep 'em that long.

The Obama administration is anti-capitalist, pro Socialist, Potus ineligible, den of snakes who lie each time they open their nefarious mouth.
They have brought the white house to it's lowest point since it's inception. They have bullied everyone they come into contact with and threatened others wo even attempt to cross them. They close the Republicans out of every decision, and act as any other third world country with a dictator at the helm.
Every stinking liberal in Washington (especially the lying imposter Barack Obama) must go........sooner rather than later. And, I don't care HOW they go as long as they are removed from our lives. They are not fit to govern anything and are completely Unamerican to their rotten core. |

What they fail to remember is that the growth in the GDP is actually nothing but gov't crutches. This is not real in the sense that it's sustainable. |
