The Difference Between the US and Russia
Posted by: Carol Platt Liebau at 5:53 PM
For anyone who might see still be taking a "moral equivalence" approach toward Russia and its dealings in the world (see, for example, Barack Obama's statement after the Russian invasion of Georgia), the news out of Poland is revealing.

Along with hosting elements of a global anti-missile shield in conformity with US wishes, Poland is also looking for assurances of US help and friendship -- including a permanent US base in Poland as a symbolic gesture.

Get it now, moral equivalence gang?  Free people seek a US presence  . . . and fear a Russian one.  What does that tell you?

Missile Defense
Along with nuclear power, missile defense is one of the no-brainers that McCain supports and Obama is lost on.

Or, purchased by McCain's lobbyist
Really? According to the news, free people are bought and sold by McCain's Geogia lobbyist, Scheuneman. His lobbying firm made nearly $300K from Georgia last year. This is an interesting point considering the "timing" of Georgia's aggression towards the mightier 'foe' - and it has McCain/Bush's carbon footprint all over it. Scheuneman championed invading Iraq back in 2000 - it makes sense that he and McCain/Bush are behind this one now.

And the fact the McCain came out saying "In the 21st Century, nations don't invade other nations". Meaning, apparently that the US invasion of Iraq is somehow "different" because we said so. Considering the lies that took us there and the lies that keep us there, McCain is proving yet again just why he MUST NOT BECOME OUR NEXT PRESIDENTIAL MISTAKE.

It may be hopeless

But the point still needs to be made. We still have to point out the obvious even though the looney left will never aknowledge it.

We have to get the truth on record. We have to keep stating the obvious to make it harder for the left to pull the wool over the eyes of the unsuspecting.

Keep fighting the good fight.

No one hates Russia more than
those who lived and suffered under their control. The Georgians are ready and willing to die to the last man to drive the Russians out of Georgia. That is why Russia is always trying to expand its borders. Because of their congenital bullying, all of their neighbors pose a threat to their sense of security because all of their neighbors hate them. So they keep pushing outwards always feeling they have to keep expanding because there is always an enemy at the new border. This is a country that deserves to die. We can suck them dry economically if we can get the globalized monied class out of our government.

What does this suggest?
How about the Russians are not very good "guests".

In Vietnam they used to call Russians there after the Vietnam War, "Poor Americans".

I agree
The free world does seek our support and Steven is correct... trying to explain the real world to the left is pointless.

That argument is hopeless
Their response is that it means the Poles have been deceived about America, and don't understand what a Devil's deal they are making.
