The OAS, the UN and most of the world has condemned the Honduran military's action, and rightfully so.
Honduras was the original "Banana Republic" - i.e. one where Banana companies had an inordinate influence on political power. Military Coups are part of the history. The military didn't 'seize' power. The congress and the supreme court did. The military works differently in Honduras than it does here. They have policing and law enforcement responsibilities that our military only has in times of emergency. If you had a grade-school understanding of Honduras, you would know that. ...this is about Honduras, not the USA. It was Zelaya who "drew first blood" in a blatant attempt to usurp more power than the constitution of his own country allowed him.
He was more inept than Fidel who took over Cuba himself by violent revolution, but consolidated his power carefully before becoming the supreme leader there. He was also more inept than Hugo, who at least got himself elected initially, then manipulated the government machinery until he could amend the constitution to make himself supreme leader for life.

He should stay out of it. By all accounts, the President of Honduras was not an innocent party in this matter. He defied the Congress, the Supreme Court, the Attorney General, and his own party.
The military, by all accounts, was ordered to remove him, after he and his supporters attempted to seize ballots for his illegal initiative to change the Constitution and allow him to stay in office longer.
This is none of our business, and Obama's only statement on this should have been to that effect, as well as issuing a warning that other governments should likewise stay out of it. |

And Merkel is critical of our cap and trade bill so far because it does not go far enough.
You also obviously spend little time in either country because their social safety nets are far, far more comprehensive and 'socialistic' than anything Obama has even proposed. Most of your TH commentators and brethren bloggers seem to think Europe, which includes UK and Germany, are already socialist countries because they say that Obama wants us to be like them, and they are socialists.
Is it that hard to remember from month to month what the GOP talking points are?

You obviously have a short memory. You don't remeber the wonderful "gift" the Obamas gave the queen? ...remember the return of the bust? ...remember the outrage of the British press? The fact that Gordon Brown sniffs at Obama's butt like a little lost puppy is an embarrassment.... Britain is a perfect and staggering example of what happens to a once-great country that goes left....
As for Germany, who would have thought that the head of Germany would one day be more conservative than the president of the U.S.? Astonishing. She's calling for tax cuts today.....

As Axe said, you really need to get out more. If you occasionally read something about German politics, you would know that a "conservative" German politician is "ultra-liberal" in the U.S. political spectrum, which is skewed far to the right.
Merkel is resisting American pressure to pump government money into the financial system in large part because the German people aren't as directly affected by the crisis as Americans. Why is that? Because all Germans still have health coverage and an income - even if they don't have a job. |

1) Advertise and Promote the Fact that you are forming a Grand Jury in Blogs, Local Newspapers and Community Organizations.
2) Form the Grand Jury and select a Foreman.
3) Select a Private Attorney General to make Presentments to Grand Jury, if local DA refuses to make presentments.
4) Select a convenient Meeting Place.
5) Communicate with all Citizens who have criminal information to present.
6) Schedule presentments by said Citizens.
7) Subpoena documents from Government Offices and Officials.
8) Schedule presentment of said Documents to Grand Jury by Grand Jury Attorney General.
7. Have Grand Jury Attorney General present said Documents to Grand Jury.
8) After investigation and deliberation is completed, vote and issue a True Bill (Indictment) or No True Bill.
9) Announce all Indictments to the Press.
10) Serve the Indictment on the Judiciary for the Issuance of Arrest Warrants.
