any wonder? Is there anyone in the O cabinet, you know, change we can believe in and trust, who at the least pays their taxes? |
If not, it should be. Then it wouldn't be so opaque or whatever the latest catch phrase is. |
Ahhhh! This explains all the tax cheats in the Obama administration. The vetter is also one and he doesn't know the difference. |
It should be :Is there anyone in the Obama administration that isn't a tax cheat.Including Obama. |
It would be interesting if ALL members of both political parties in DC underwent tax investigation. I'm betting we could significantly pay down the deficit with the amount they all owed in back taxes. At the very least those candidates who were found in arears - even if it is their spouses as in Solis and Craig's cases - finally paid them in full.
How's Joe Wurzelbacher doing on HIS back taxes, by the way?
And Sarah Palin - did SHE finally pay for the massive per diem she accumulated while sitting at home doin' nuthin'?
I also hear that Judd Gregg - he of 'fiscal responsibility" is now being investigated for getting tons of "porkulus" for Pease Airforce property, which he had a very big self-interest kind of stake in.
And so it goes....

I think tax issues are something everyone can relate to - take Joe the Plumber and Sarah Palin's tax 'issues', for instance.
But if you REALLY want to continue in this vein, consider first the sex scandals of the Bush administration era and the GOP before you gloat too much about the tax problems of the spouses of a elected officials.
Then, after that, read up on your man of honor, Mr. Fiscal Responsibility himself, Judd Gregg and his pork-filled aid to the defunct Pease airforce base property - which he had a personal stake in. Now, rumor has it that Mr. Gregg KNEW this was coming down the pike, and threw our President under the bus regarding his 'fiscal responsibility' not jibing with the Obama R&R Act. Such valor, really.
Enough to make us all wonder what the GOP will come up with next in their race to the bottom. |

I don't care about Rangel - if he's guilty, he should be out. But the same should hold true for Vitter and his partaking in sex crimes in the form of soliciting prostitution. The day he's out, then take Rangel as well - if he's found guilty, of course, like Vitter was. |
I suggest you check out your new Deputy Attorney General David Ogden! Now that's a sex crime! |
the whole point is Rangel and others lord their position to tax us and don't consider themselves held to the same standard .As for sex crimes ,what about one of barney franks lovers running a homosexual prostitution buisness out of the condo he shared with barney? |
the sex crime argument is weak coming a supporter of the party of bill clinton , barney frank , teddy got away with murder kennedy . gary condit exc.... |

"And Sarah Palin - did SHE finally pay for the massive per diem she accumulated while sitting at home doin' nuthin'?"
There is a difference of opinion as to whether Sarah owes taxes on her per diem. Prevous governors did the same thing. It is still being argued in various Alaskan government departments. It has also been said that her "going home," saved money. Why? Not certain, but must have had something to do with the governor's house being re-worked.
Even if she does owe taxes on her per diem, it is not due until she submits her taxes in 2008!
And, she was not "doin' nuthin." She has accomplished things previous governors could not accomplish.
Knock off the partisan Bravo Sierra! |

...project to the GOP the very sins they want to ignore about their own. But isn't it more glaringly wrong for members of a party that constantly advocates tax increases, and that "the wealthy" should "pay their fair share" to have so many wealthy leaders who cheat on their taxes? |

One fact from your numerous blogs is all I ask.Innuendos and speculation and outright disinformation when the country really is in deep,is irresponsible at best and criminal at worst. There is such a thing as libel even when dealing with a public figure. If you can't stand a real person, with a real family and real responsibility in her job decisions,I don't know how to respond.Sarah Palin is the only non millionaire to run for high office in three decades. She is the only one that cleaned out entrenched powerful members of her own party. When was the last time a Democrat leader did that?Sure isn't in this world.Every one of Obama's appointments have real issues, not just Rangel. He may be the least of the problems. Not one of Obama's appointments could pass a security clearance from the FBI,yet they will be around the nation's security center. That doesn't bother you?We have Clinton felonious friends or Chicago political machine/mob in charge. You really think you will be better off if the rich go down?If you don't get anything,it's envy. |
