Are Khalid al Mansour and Obama Friends?
Posted by: Amanda Carpenter at 12:45 PM
Civil rights activist Percy Sutton said he was solicited by a man named Dr. Khalid al Mansour to send a letter of reccomendation on behalf of Barack Obama to help him gain acceptance to Harvard many years ago. (This video and transcript is at the bottom of the post),

But who is Khalid al Mansour and how did he know Barack Obama? A cursory search on Youtube turns up several controversial clips, in the vein of Obama's longtime friend and former pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright. One of these videos is more than an hour long, but I am going to post here before I watch/transcribe everything in the interest in getting this into the hands of other bloggers who may know who this guy is. Here's what I found:

#1 video video, uploaded by someone named IslamStudios, al Mansour opines on how white Jews and black Jews look:

#2 video, uploaded by  MuslimbyChoice:

#3 video, uploaded by IslamStudios and titled "Christians Designed Discrimination:"

Here is the video of Sutton saying al Mansour asked him to help Obama.

In the above video Sutton says: "I was introduced to him by a friend who was raising money for him and the friends name was Dr. Khalid al Mansour from Texas. He is the principle adviser to one of the world's richest men. He told me about Obama. He wrote to me about him and his introduction was 'there is  a young man that has applied to Harvard and I know that you have a few friends left there becasue you used to go up there to speak, would you please write a letter in support of him?'...I wrote a letter in support of him to my friends at Harvard saying ot them I thought there was a genius that was going to be available and I sure hoped they would treat him kindly."

Retraction
I think the retraction may need some looking into. I'm just worried that Percy will die an untimely death before we can ask him, if you know what I mean. Newsmax column by Ken Timmerman on this subject says that the family says that the "family spokesperson" doesn't speak for them or for Percy Sutton. Would someone please investigate or do we have to wait until after it's too late???

Debunked
Percy Sutton's family have issued a written statement saying that Percy (86) is not well and may have been confused. That explains the obvious inconsistencies in the story. Basically one phone call cleared this up yet it's still hanging around the blogs for months without any more evidence showing up of Obama ever having any contact with either of these guys.

Dreams From my Father
It has been suggested Dr. Khalid al Mansour may have funded his book. It was published by Times Books (NY Times). The publisher was Peter Osnos, who is George Soros's publisher and recently assisted in Scot McMillan's antiBush screed. Osnos has been on some leftist Middle East Relationsboards or some such. Soon we will see the Osnos, al mansour and maybe Soros connection come to light.

Dr. Khalid Al-Mansour, Senior Advisor, HRH Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal - you know, the prince who tried to give money to NY after 9/11

Obama seems to have bad judgment
when it comes to picking friends?

one [Wright], two [Phleger], three [Ayers], four [Dohrn]
tell me that you love me more
change and hope
that is what the youth vote is for
oh leftist hopes are lying at your door
after taxes left you with nothing,
but they wanted more.
oh, oh, oh,
you're changing your heart.
oh, oh, oh,
you know who you are.
sweetheart, bitter heart,
Defeatocons and Obamaphile i can't tell you apart.
cozy and cold,
put the horse before the cart.
those leftist hopes,
through our tears and the lies.
too scared to run off,
to one little life.
oh, oh, oh,
you're changing your heart.
oh, oh, oh,
you know who you are.
one, two, three, four, five, six, nine, and ten.
money can buy you the next door lot.
one [Wright], two [Phleger], three [Ayers], four [Dohrn], five [Rezko] , six [Mansour], nine [Olberman], and ten [The Hollywood Left].
money can buy you the next door lot.
oh, oh, oh,
you're changing your heart.
oh, oh, oh,
you know who you are.
oh, oh, oh,
you're changing your heart.
oh, oh, oh,
you know who you are.

Ouch
If this guy is the same Kahlid al Mansour in question, and assuming Sutton is telling the truth, this could be really, really bad for Obama. Wright was anti-American, as was Pflegger, but neither of them were openly anti-Semitic or black supremacists. This guy seems to be both.

So, just how closely does Mr. O know this guy?
