Just (Another) Misjudgment
Posted by: Carol Platt Liebau at 10:19 PM
The Obama campaign says it was just a misjudgment for its Muslim outreach coordinator to meet with Hezbollah and Hamas supporters.  If she had known these people would be at the meeting, we're told, she would never have been there.

This strikes me as a continuing theme of the Obama campaign: Cozy up to someone unsavory (but seemingly advantageous at the time), then proclaim ignorance about the details of the person's history, and distance oneself as needed.  Then hope that friends in the press will under-cover it.

It's the same pattern we've seen with Bill Ayres, Rashid Khalidi, Jeremiah Wright, Father Pfleger, Tony Rezko -- and now Mahdi Bray of the Muslim American Society (who was seen pumping his fist in support of Hezbollah and Hamas at a rally) and Nihad Awad, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (a group named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing case).

Obviously, there's nothing illegitimate about soliciting the views of solid, pro- American citizens who happen to be Muslim.  But like others in Obama's past, Bray and Awad don't seem to fit into that category.

Does Anyone Care Anymore?
Wow! A misjudgement that his MUSLIM OUTREACH COORDINATOR met with Muslims! What a surprise, but hasn`t Obama been President since like, forever?? JMac is pretty close to folding his tent and turned off a lot of his nose-holder supporters today. Well, that`s his problem! Everyone else will get what he wants. And nobody has to pay except the big, bad oil companies and the giant corporations. The banks are going to be owned by a Global Government coalition and are printing money as we speak! We should all go on unemployment tomorrow because the benefits have been extended until, like, forever, our mortgages will be covered, also we`ll be getting free heat and electricity. Of course, the granddaddy of them all, free health care. What a wonderful world.

Not an easy life for RW bloggers
I see how tough this is getting to be, coming up with new stuff all the time, same old sour wine in new bottles. The election season must seem like eternity to you folks who have to crank out half a dozen tired pseudo scandals a day.

MSM Avoids Truth
If only the MSM had vetted Obama. 3 weeks is enough time, but do people want to know the truth?
It will be interesting if Obama wins, because MSM doesn't realize thier financial future is at risk. Socialization loves propaganda, but we will not need 3 major networks to tell us all the same thing, and how great the "Messiah" is.
People read less newspapers, they rely on the interest for news, and television is old news. There is very little need for real journalist, because they no longer do the reseach and hold people accountable.
Once Obama has to live up to his promises and make tough decisions, the MSM's will not be able to save him or US!

Sour WHINE In New Bottles?
Must be real boring trolling constantly on those Left Wing blogs! Just look at all the progressives who want to hang out on Town Hall! Maybe they can learn something. We can only hope!

Like McCain "cozying" up to terrorists?
He did, ya know. Do you care that your guys are KNOWINGLY aligned with shady characters? Because the truth of the matter is that somehow the facts are always missing in Rightwing rhetoric.

Explain to us why McCain's connection to the Mafia, domestic terrorists, hate groups and adultery are not an issue as well if you are SO very scared of the Obama "ties" you claim he has? WHERE IS THE DIFFERENCE?

Palin's a voodoo queen with her own Witch doctor! She's buddies with secessionists who condemn America! She has been charged formally with ABUSE OF HER POWERS as Governor!

You folks are traveling a very scary path right now, and history will not be kind to you - as it hasn't been kind to those who have oppressed others and incited violence and violent rhetoric against others in the past. Be very careful in how you deal with your losses this election. Get a grip and grow up.

Focus, people!
Must we have another terrorist attack before an association like this makes us think of the national security implications? There really ARE a great number of Islamic Fundamentalist groups who will not be satisfied until sharia law is the law of the entire world and they will do ANYTHING they can to harm us. You, as an American, are an "infidel" and the extremists have not only deluded themselves into thinking it is OK to kill you, per the Koran, but it is their duty to do so. For those interested, read "The Looming Tower", "Infidel", and "Londonistan". If you read any of these well-researched and documented books and do not believe this a real and evil threat to our country (if crashing planes into the World Trade Center wasn't enough), then I can say nothing further to convince you. Perhaps Obama truly understands the immensity of this threat, but I am positive that McCain does. Before anything else, I want my children to grow to adulthood. I do not trust Obama's level and type of experience (or his advisors) on this issue and believe his judgement and decisions will be harmful to us, maybe personally.

When
When will the slumbering Americans wake up and get a clue about OBAMA?
All this information is put in front of them and they ignore the truth?
I remember another election where Americans were sleeping while an Arkansas Governor waltzed into the white house, who brought disgrace to the White House.
Americans, Stand up and Fight this Time!
Wake up and vote with your Brains!
All the information is out there, all you have to do is recognize that what Obama stands for isn't good for America!
I can just hear it now from Obama supporters
Do I believe Obama or the FACTS!
Obama is only popular with the people who have no Character or Integrity.
Because I can't see any change he will bring to this Country other than, Ayers, Wright and Farrakhan and a Robin Hood mentality.

Great points LLR
I agree with your comments. The media, the college kids, and left wing manifesto writers (some on this page) are all enamored with Obama. The good news is that McCain held out this attack on his character until October. There is proof now which is creating doubt. The economy will recover, everyone knows that. And even if you go into the voting booth so pissed off about the economy, you will still be bugged by the fact that you may put a first-class sleazebag in this office. I live in Chicago and we are seeing tons of Obama commercials on television. Not a good sign when he has to advertise in his own state. The public is speaking out now because we are at a point of frustration with the media. I like the fact that McCain held it all out until the end and even if he doesn't go after him in the debate, it won't matter. The public still knows about the shady dealings of BO. One difference between Clinton and Obama. We didn't know Clinton had those capabilities prior to office, now we do.

Obama Unwrapped
For the uninitiated and naive, you might want to visit this website and learn a bit more about the associations of Obama: http://tinyurl.com/4kcoub It's old wine in old bottles, so to speak, and if Obama becomes POTUS we will be given a daily ration of this old wine. Some wines do not age well and this vintage Obama is one of them; it will leave a bitter taste in your mouth.

I do hope
I do hope that the state of Illinois is investigating and being investigated for voter fraud that made Obama a Senator! If this fraud is going on for presidency can you imagine what type of fraud took place to get Obama in as a Senator?
Wake up and INVESTIGATE, if a few of you don't know the facts there are a lot of people in the politcal realm in Illinois who know and or go to J Wrights Church. I strongly believe, that church has a lot to do with the fraud! Illinois is a state that is asleep and won't stand up for or are afraid to stand up for what is right, I think the fear thing plays a big part.
INVESTIGATE HIM ALL THE WAY BACK! You will find information that will probably frighten you to what that church has done along with ACORN

Obama White House Guests?
To put Obama on the spot, McCain should ask in the debate:

“Would you invite William Ayers, Tony Rezko, Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, Father Pfleger and the ACORN leadership to the White House if you are president?”

If “Yes,” Obama looks radical.

If “No,” he is forced to admit poor judgment in his associations.

If "Maybe", he looks wish-washy.
