AP Says Obama Has Enough Delegates for Nomination
Posted by: Amanda Carpenter at 1:52 PM
The AP is calling the Democratic nomination for Obama, hours before the final Democratic primary contests have concluded in Montana and South Dakota.
WASHINGTON (AP) - Barack Obama effectively clinched the Democratic presidential nomination Tuesday, based on an Associated Press tally of convention delegates, becoming the first black candidate ever to lead his party into a fall campaign for the White House.

Campaigning on an insistent call for change, Obama outlasted former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton in a historic race that sparked record turnout in primary after primary, yet exposed deep racial divisions within the party.

The AP tally was based on public commitments from delegates as well as more than a dozen private commitments. It also included a minimum number of delegates Obama was guaranteed even if he lost the final two primaries in South Dakota and Montana later in the day.
I don't know about you guys, but this nomination in limbo is feeling a little 2000-ish.

Does Obama have the nomination or not? Different news outlets have different delegate counts and no one really knows what it means for Obama's nomination if Clinton is truly "reserving the right" to challenge the DNC over the Michigan and Florida delegates...Stay tuned.

Obama
was upset with all the cable outlets talking about Hillary. He had to get something out in the headlines to try to take the talking points away from Hillary.

What would give me great pleasure would be for the feds to walk into Obama's speech tonight and handcuff a few of his cronies.

I think the Dems are making a big mistake in discounting what Hillary's followers will do come time for the GE. There is no way the people in WV and KY who voted for Hillary will ever swing to Obama. Obama is counting on those first time voters from the primaries to get him to the WH in the general election. While they may have helped him in some state races, the GE for a presidential campaign is a horse of different color.

Bowling instead of Debating
So Hillary is donesky...so its done? McCain is the next President of the USA...People are saying now that it isnt going to be so simple. McCains biggest threat isnt/has never been Obama it is actually Ralph Nader and Bob Barr. Its possible that they will take an interesting road to the White House....Boy O Boy I bet Ross Perot wishes he was he was still going for that house on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Seriously though, after his speech yesterday at AIPAC, in my opinion McCain is look fantastic. We'll have to wait and see.

Rumor has it that instead of hosting Presidential Debates they are going to go bowling...the winner gets the post as Commander in Chief

Wright, Pfleger, Moss, Farakhan...
Barack Obama probably has enough preachers too.

Barack Obama wants change. All the change in your pockets and all the bills out of your wallet and bank accounts. That is the type of change that matters!

While he is at it, maybe he will go for those 401Ks that Father Pfleger says you should feel guilty about.
