WaPo on Obama's VP Picks
Posted by: Amanda Carpenter at 9:36 AM
Here's who the Washington Post says is on Obama's shortlist, with my immediate, not so PC, reactions.

Evan Bayh: Too young, too inexperienced to be a heartbeat away from the presidency.
Joe Biden: Most likely to say something on October 30 that will blow it for Obama.
Tim Kaine: Massive eyebrow problems. Sort of creepy. (Photo evidence). I live in Virginia and can't think of anything notable he has done.
Kathleen Sebelius: Will outrage all the Hillary people because Obama picked a woman other than Hillary.

100% Right about Biden--Gaffeman
Sebelius is actually the smartest choice for Obama. Kaine is creepy. Bayh not too young, but essentially a Dem Pawlenty.

Sebelius is why Palin makes such good sense.

Still, I think for the GOP it will be Romney or Pawlenty.

Biden
Agree Biden would likely say something REALLY stupid in a debate!

Still hope McCain picks Palin!

I hope Obama does take Queen Kathy...
It'll steam the PUMAs and doesn't have a chance to deliver Kansas for Obama.

Take TIMMY! (Think South Park)
Please take TIMMY! We want him out of here, the sooner the better.

Kaines eyebrows and Obama ears ... a match made in heaven ... I mean UTOPIA ...

Lackluster Choices
Obama really doesn't have any good choices either. I'm glad that he's wandered away from Sam Nunn. Though he's been out of the game, everyone always took him seriously.

Kaine hasn't accomplished a thing from what I've read.

I don't think Obama dares take Sebelius. I think he'd lose PUMAs forever.

Biden doesn't seem to fit Obama's formula, but that's because Obama has convinced himself that his face-time trip overseas has helped him established his foreign-relations and military- affairs cred.

My vote is Bayh.

gotta love Amanda
I think the eye brow thing is where it's at Obama would be better served to pick Spike Lee, or Sean Penn.

But just as with Kathy can you imagine this if he picks a black man for VP and it's not Jackson or Sharpton

I think Obama was thinking Edwards but he will probably go after Hildabeast, he wants to win she would cinch it up because her negatives are only relavent in the no.1 position and she would devastate the McCain independent vote. He would just have to watch Bill around Michelle

Who IS Kimberly, anyway?
Sebelius: Has the potential to get conservatives angry over McCain to focus their anger on someone else.

Kaine: I dunno about the eyebrows. In a culture where sometimes good-looking = stupid, having a flawed appearance might actually work for the Dems' ticket.

Biden: The Obama campaign would become hilarious. That Biden is being discussed is proof that Democrats have much greater leeway with "racially sensitive" topics than Republicans.

Bayh: Still very popular in a very red state (Indiana), so he'd probably open up the middle a little more for Obama. He'd probably drive the netroots crazy, though, as he could almost pass for a Republican.

RE: TIM KAINE
I would love to see him gone also. His accomplishment of note: raising taxes in VA; Of course he did, he's a Dem. His most notable trait is how BORING and doctrinaire he is. Don't see him helping Obama in the big battle ground states at all.

Re: Kimberly. Talk about bilious, unintelligent discourse, Kimberly fits that bill to a 'T'. Kim's engaging in projection. Although AC may not be the most well known, or highly accomplished woman in America today, she is far more intelligent and accomplished than Komrade Kimberly, and unlike Kim, Amanda has a bright future ahead.

Bayh is "inexperienced"???
He was governor for eight years and now senator for ten. That doesn't seem "inexperienced" to me.
