If Obama does win tomorrow, the Democrats will be pushing through an unbridled liberal agenda in the next Congress.
Democrats are giddy with excitement, but there's an internal debate within the Democratic Party about how far to push an Obama Administration. Obama has not laid out any official 100-day plan, but has campaigned on ending the war on Iraq, increasing taxes to give the middle class a tax cut and investing millions into alternative energy and infrastructure. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid will naturally have plans of their own. At this point Democratic leadership is unsure if they should use their political capital early to pass something big like universal health care or to focus on smaller measures to avoid any immediate backlash. Obama would certainly be able to negotiate with them, but Pelosi and Reid are the ones who schedule votes.
Here is what's tentatively on deck, most of which are items the Democrats have unsuccessfully pushed for since they were ushered into power in 2006.
-End the war in Iraq, by cutting funding and/or mandating a date certain for withdrawal.
-Universal health care. A less ambitious alternative could be an expansion of the State Children's Health Insurance Program
-Another stimulus package
-Legislation ironically titled The Freedom of Choice Act, to eliminate the secret ballot process required to unionize, therefore making it easier for unions to organize. This is informally "card check."
-Legislation to increase subsidies for alternative energy and decrease energy consumption
-Increase taxation on the rich and capital gains to reduce taxes on the "middle class"
-Increase funding for stem cell research
-Increase funding for higher education
Update: One of our commenters points out that I missed amnesty and cap and trade. Duly noted. If John McCain wins, the Dems will probably tee up those two items first since he supports them, too.

Has anything had a more inappropriate name than the "Fairness Doctrine." Add to the list in the article that the Democrats will impose this rule that demands "equal" time on talk radio, etc, for the liberal point of view. |

The Left will over reach and eventually offend even the brain dead, moronic American serfs who thought they were going to get a bunch of free stuff without working for it.
The Right will get its act together and finally realize that existing in the supine position, or on their knees so as to better French kiss the azzzes of their political enemies, is a loser. Even cowards can sometimes find their spine after abuse and with their invertebrate backs against the wall.
Perhaps a true conservative warrior, a Right Wing "Messiah", will emerge and lead a resurgence of Americanism that results in a conservative government.
Hopefully, after what the Left does it will make the new conservative movement serious explore the gassing and burning of all liberals, communists and registered democrats so that finally America will become a tolerant, inclusive and peaceful nation. |

If none of the arguments above cause you pause, consider the fact that an Obama presidency WILL raise your taxes. Not on just those making $250,000/yr, or is it $200,000, or $150,000...wait a minute, let's try $120,000/yr. I haven't heard the latest figure, but as you know it is steadily heading downward to the income levels Obama really wants to raise taxes on, which is $41,600/yr. That was the figure in the bill he voted for last year that would raise your taxes. And don't be "a sucker" Liberals, the spending proposed by Obama will absolutely require an increase in taxes. So, if you are infavor of higher taxes, Vote for Obama. As for me, I think if you want higher taxes, you should just write a check, made payable to the IRS for as much as you think you should contribute. I'm sure the IRS would be happy to accept your donation. And I would be grateful as well. |

Within 24 hours the Media gave us more information about Joe's life, than they've given us about Barack Obama's life in the past 18 months!
Thanks to a diligent press corps, we now know about Joe's professional licensing status, his income tax situation, his employment history, his domestic squabbles, his voting record, everything associated with his personal identity; his education. It's probably been reported somewhere whether he wears boxers or briefs. (They really "did a number on Joe")
Thanks to a "biased and indifferent" press corps, we still don't know what grades Obama made in college; how he got into Harvard; published who paid for it (hint: it wasn't Obama through student loans, as he claimed in one of his adds, because he didn't have any) when he met "Bill the Bomber" Ayers (who murdered innocent people and destroyed public utilities and was never punished); when he stopped doing illegal drugs; his medical history; whether he still smokes cigarettes; the extent of his affiliation with the Socialist/Marxist/Communist DSA; why he's no longer a licensed attorney (why he was "disbarred"); whether he lied on his Bar application.

Sun, 07 Sept. 2008 11:48:04 EST, General Bill Ginn' USAF (ret.) asked Obama to explain why he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.
The General also stated to the Senator that according to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171... During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present, except those in military uniform, are expected to stand at attention, facing the flag, with the right hand over the heart. At the very least, "Stand and Face It".
Senator Obama Live on Sunday stated: "As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as "taking sides", Obama said: 'There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a "war-like message". You know, the bombs bursting in air and all that. It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it."We should consider to "reinvent" our National Anthem, as well as to "redesign our Flag" to better "offer our enemies "hope and love. My wife disrespects the Flag for many personal reasons. Together she and I have attended several flag burning ceremonies in the past, many years ago. She has her views and I have mine".
