Biden Predicts World will 'Test' Obama Early

Wow! Joe Biden is making a compelling case for why Obama should NOT be president:
"Mark my words," the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."
"I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate," Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. "And he's gonna need help. And the kind of help he's gonna need is, he's gonna need you - not financially to help him - we're gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it's not gonna be apparent initially, it's not gonna be apparent that we're right."
... Frankly, this is a better argument against an Obama presidency than McCain has made.

The lifestyle of the average Cuban citizen was greatly altered. The primary beliefs of communism include that the working class is in charge of the government, privately owned property is illegal, the money of the country should be given in equivalent amounts to all citizens, and the government runs the lifestyle of its country’s residents. Education is also an important part of Cuba’s Communist government. As Castro had hoped for, these changes did have impressive short-term effects for Cuba. Serious illness and economic hardship were almost nonexistent and Cuba had the greatest number of teachers and doctors in that area of the Caribbean within ten years of the onset of Communism (Jervis 2). Cuba seemed to be looking toward a brighter future with Castro in charge.
However, other unpopular policies were enacted. Castro eliminated elections and freedom of the press, imprisoned political opponents, and made religion a thing to be ashamed of (Jervis 2). Castro then

How do you clear away the fog of Biden's statement that, "And he's gonna need help. What help will Obama need? Why did he parenthetically add that statement about financial help? What is not going to be apparent? Right about what? It's all gibberish. |

After he rambles on like an idiot, he then realizes the press is in the room and says "whoops, maybe i shouldn't have said these things"

I think the Obama camp needs to make another run to Home Depot and pick up some more duct tape.

in such a gracious, cool-handed and brilliant manner is a precursor of things to come, I'm in whole-heartedly!
The three Presidential debates are all we needed to see just how Obama's unflappable and intelligent demeanor will be a terrific antidote to the massive, ignorant bumblings of Bush (Remember where incurious, hardheaded inflexibility and cowboy swaggering got us on 9/11?).
Contrast that with McCain's absurd rambling, contortions and misstatements [LIES] and you've got a no-brainer regarding who is best able, in the next four years, to undo the massive damage created by the GOP/Bush/McCain nightmare. |

How would you like us to help you when we are huddled in bunkers awaiting a nuclear attack?
I would think it is only fair that admission into a bunker is prioritized by those who were for McCain go in first.
