Jimmy's Delusion
Posted by: Mary Katharine Ham at 11:11 AM
This is the guy the Left holds up as an international leader fit for official, persuasive diplomacy:

“In a democracy, I realize you don’t need to talk to the top leader to know how the country feels. When I go to a dictatorship, I only have to talk to one person and that’s the dictator, because he speaks for all the people.”
Could he be more obtuse? Learn fewer lessons from history?

OHM
Using logic with Kimber.....hmmmm

Could be dangerous.....you might damage her brain cell.

At least she stuck around and took a few swings today....she's usually a drive by poster....

hey kids, time for algebra with Kimberly

Kimberly,

Since y-o-u agree with Carter about a dictator "speaking for the people," and y-o-u assert that Bush IS a dictator, shouldn't y-o-u-r conclusion be that Bush the Dictator is therefore speaking for the people ?

Yes Hambones
Google.

That is a great description of the nuttiness that comes spewing forth from Kimber on a daily basis.

This country could stay on the right track merely by listening to her recommendations and then doing the opposite.

What a wacko....!

civics lesson for Kimberly
We live in a Republic, not a democracy. We elect people to lead, not follow opinion polls. If we don't like it, then after 4 years we get another shot. That is why Carter wasn't able to goof things up more than he did, we dumped him for Reagan.

Not only the worst president ever....
...but the worst FORMER president ever as well...! Good Grief!
Is there any way we can make them keep him....?

Peanut man
What else should we expect from the man who showed the USA as weak to the arab world. It is the seed he planted that has grown and spread its roots throughout the Middle-East. He began by shunning the Shah. He followed it up by hiding when Iran forcibly imprisoned all the United States Embassy staff, tied them up and blindfolded them, paraded them everywhere and displaying them as they ridiculed the weak USA. One of the revolutionaries is now the president of Iran and he continues to tweak the noses of the USA leaders. Carter's inaction and cowardice showed the arabs that indeed the USA could be had. They went on to obtain nuclear material and now have nuclear weapons while still giving the USA leaders and the UN the "bird".

Even in retirement the peanut man meets constantly with America's enemies encouraging them to stand up to the USA. He loves dictators and hates Jews. He us our gift to the terrorist regimes of the world.

Meanwhile, Iran build bigger and better IEDs to kill our troops. Carter has been a pox on the USA since we first heard his name.

the quote of the millenium

Jimmy Carter says that a dictator 'speaks' for all the people ?

Seriously, that quote needs to be publicized---that's the quote of the millenium.

M-Kat, you could make a funny HamNation with that quote, by using little peeps.
You could have a little dictator peep talking "at" the people, and give Orwellian narration which explains that the little dictator is actually speaking "FOR" (!) the people.
Then, you could insert excerpts of old footage of Jimmah Cahtah as well as excerpts from Charlie Chaplin's classic film "The Great Dictator."

I swear, Orwell was prescient with '1984,' wasn't he ?

get him tested..
Carter must be experiencing dementia, or some other lessening of his mental faculties. How else do you explain someone who was POTUS saying something so incredibly stupid!
jamo writes: Wednesday, April, 16, 2008 1:00 PM
not again
Shouldn't Jimmy be building a house somewhere?Maybe in the Lower 9th Ward or Chalmette, LA or Guatemala or really anywhere. Can't somebody confiscate his passport? And does he remind anyone else of Mr Magoo?
