Sad News: Jack Kemp has cancer

Former quarterback, congressman, vice presidential nominee and frequent contributor to Townhall, Jack Kemp, has announced that he has cancer.

All of our prayers are with the Kemp family.

I had the honor of meeting Jack Kemp on several occasions. He is a gentleman's gentleman. In addition to the Kemp-Roth tax bill, Jack Kemp was one of the few politician who most of the opposing parties members always had deep admiration and respect. Not too many politicians can say they have considered Ronald Reagan and Charles Rangle a close friend in the same breath. He truly believes in the conservative message and made efforts to spread the word even to the poorest districts that vote over 90% for liberal democrats. Thoughts and prayers with him and his family.
