Protester: "How can you thank him (Petraeus) for his service when we're slaughtering Iraqis every day?"

Truth hurts.
And isn't that the truth? What's to argue about MK, if the message is one that hurts, does it make it any less truthful?
SGRivette writes: Monday, September, 10, 2007 4:03 PM
Actually
Insurgent terrorists are slaughtering Iraqis everyday.

Democrats and Petraeus
Doesn't the Left endanger their agenda by appearing so out of the mainstream like this? Do the attacks on General Petraeus and the troops hurt their cause? How should they respond? Read and discuss this at http://www.thecoin.org

If these....
....(your word here) are so worried about innocent Iraqis, why do they want us to pull out so badly....?

Don't they know the terrible fate that will befall these innocent Iraqis if we do leave....?

Answer: Of course they do....this is all just lip-service.....

They are fun to watch though.....better than the circus....!
SGRivette writes: Monday, September, 10, 2007 4:21 PM
Better than the circus?
In fact, aren't they the circus. Colorful outfits. Big, weird hats. Masks. All they're missing are the animals. Oh, never mind. Apparently the animals were making too much noise during the hearing and were thrown out.
ssdd writes: Monday, September, 10, 2007 4:29 PM
why not pull all the troops out
and then send in banners while kids are raped and beheaded and people are slaughtered like what happened in Vietnam...and the banners can say "Brought to you by the liberals from the USA, PEACE and have a nice day!" Better yet send the pinkos over with the banners!!!!!
paddy o'furniture writes: Monday, September, 10, 2007 4:31 PM
Yes, but...
....on TV, I don't have to smell elephant poop.....
paddy o'furniture writes: Monday, September, 10, 2007 4:36 PM
your...
How about a big "Mission Accomplished" banner over a picture of the mass graves...?

Dread writes: Monday, September, 10, 2007 5:06 PM
Of course...
You realize that a lot of folks are beheaded, violently slaughtered, displaced and suffering now from our current policies, right?

Heck, a lot of Iraqis chose to flee to autocratic repressive Syria for safety rather than stay in their safe neighborhoods back home.

So, I'm curious as to why you would support the current policy that is causing a lot of misery for the Iraqis vs. a hypothetical policy that hypothetically might cause suffering for the Iraqis?

In regards to Petraeus, I think it's foolish to slam the guy. He's hardly responsible for the current situation, his civilian commanders are.
ssdd writes: Monday, September, 10, 2007 8:03 PM
there was no message
there was a question....since you see yourself being utterly brilliant..what do you see as the answer???Do what the liberals want...just pack and leave????? I asked a legit question...WHATS THE ANSWER?????? I know for sure what the other side wants they want you dead..thats simple enough...

Message.
The message is correct. The messenger is not the problem.

Likewise, General Petraeus is not the problem. The President is the problem.

Nice!!
JackShiite your pretty right on and unfortunately we as Americans are probably going to GET, as our right, to go vote for the lesser of 2 evils again.
Good luck Ron Paul! Your war policy is a bit off but you care about what's important to the US homeland.

Thank you General for your service you are a good American!
