Don't Blame Obama on Wednesday...

If Republican Chris Christie wins in New Jersey -- and Bob McDonnell wins in Virginia on Tuesday -- liberals will be sure to note that "local issues" were the cause (read: losses are not a rejection of Obama's policies).
The AP is already laying the narrative for this ...
Of course, they would be on firmer footing had Obama not taken such a dominate and visible role in the races for governor of Virginia and New Jersey.
Don't forget about this. And don't forget about this.
To be sure, there are various factors at play here; there always are. Still, how can anyone say that Tuesday's elections don't reflect -- at least, to some degree -- Obama's unpopularity?
He may not be to blame for the bad candidates, but it's also fair to say that his coattails don't seem to be long enough to lift them ...

"had Obama not taken such a dominate and visible role in the races for governor of Virginia and New Jersey."
Huh? Obama made one or two appearances in the state that's right across the bridge from his house. And his staff leaked stories undermining Deeds.
Only in the right-wing fever swamps does that count as a "dominate and visible" role.
Spin, baby, spin! |

Regardless of political affiliation, every New Jersey voter should consider the New Jersey gubernatorial election as a proxy for Obama / Pelosi Care. It would be naive to think that government run healthcare, administered by a massive new liberal bureaucracy, will do anything other than reduce the quality of coverage and services, while dramatically increasing costs ( read taxes ). As pointed out by the prominent conservative, Bill Kristol, Obama / Pelosi Care will mandate massive medicare cuts that dwarf those proposed in 1995 by Newt Gingrich. While adding to the crippling deficits faced by Americans due to the TARP, Cash for Clunkers, and the Cap and Trade carbon tax scheme, the new socialized healthcare debacle will lead to a lower quality of care, longer waiting periods for crucial services and a shortages of medicals resources and services. For a snapshot of the future, look at the government handling of the swine flu epidemic, which Obama has labeled a major epidemic and a national emergency. The short supplies of a new swine flu vaccine , paired with interminable waiting lines should alert all American voters to think twice - and then a third time - before allowing Congress to pass the Obama / Pelosi scheme.

"Of course, they would be on firmer footing had Obama not taken such a dominate and visible role in the races for governor of Virginia and New Jersey", and had Joe "where the hell is my head" Biden not taken such a visible role in NY23. |

...Name (ah, first) w/Corzine's, if a loss prevails; they are both losers. BO has everything to do with the NJ race, at this juncture.
Corzine couldn't/wouldn't possibly be that nutty to presumptuously partner his name w/BO's without the Messianic blessing! Good grief, that would be the political equivalent of a death-knell: Yeah or Nay??????? |

ok trolls, lets see how you pin THIS obama failure on Bush. |
