Oh, No, Joe!
Posted by: Carol Platt Liebau at 9:47 AM
Over at Politico, Carol E. Lee notes the very, very low profile of Joe Biden so far in the presidential transition.

My guess is that Biden had better get used to it.  In the wake of the Russian invasion of Georgia, Obama realized that, for politics' sake, he needed at least one member of the ticket with foreign policy credentials, and didn't want Hillary Clinton.  (Without the Russian invasion, he might well have picked Tim Kaine.)

It seems that Obama genuinely likes Biden, but it would take a moron (and that, Obama definitely is not) not to realize that Biden is a one-man gaffe machine.  Who can blame him for figuring that no one needs the distraction of another Biden foot-in-mouth moment?

With Hillary Clinton as secretary of state, the foreign policy rationale for Biden's presence is pretty much gone.  And the evidence that Biden was picked for political, rather than substantive, reasons continues to mount.

Can a VP be invisible
This could create a record that may never be broken. Can a VP be totally invisible for 4 whole years. As much as I dislike Obama, Lord forbid anything happens to him. The thought of Joe Biden becoming President gives me willies.

'WE THE PEOPLE' HAVE THE POWER
But only if we tell the crooked Politicains that they SERVE US!! That's what a Public Servant is! When they don't listen to us anymore we need to slap them upside the head and knock them back down to size and say:
Shape up and do the job WE The People elected you to do or we will vote your sss out the same we we voted it in!

The only harm these snakes cando, is what the gullible masses ALLOW them to do.

It's amusing, and looks like Laurel and
Hardy.

When Palin makes a mistake it is a tragic event. When Biden or bama make a mistake, it is a "gaffe". The wonderful leftist media continues to campaign for the annointed.

I thought that bama needed biden for his "international experience". Apparently not. apparently bama will just stumble through with his Clinton re-treads.

Biden is the heart of all evil. I learned that from the Dems when talking about Cheney. Seems the DEms should get the same treatment. I can easily complain about all of their "policies", and explain how the world hates us due to bama policies.

I don't know how.....
only Biden can be called the "gaffe" machine......
Obama believes that we have "57 states".....
and answered "above my paygrade" when asked when life begins........

He's pretty much a "gaffer" himself......

Rather difficult to find any sustantive
accomplishments of Biden. Consequently, his selection as VP candidate for The One was probably one of convenient politics.
1. Plagiarized a speech made by a British politician.
2. Made fun of people from India owning a convenience store.
3. Ate at a restaurant that is no longer in business.
4. Proposed that Iraq be divided up among the Kurds, Shiites, and Sunnis.
5. Boldly stated that General Petraeus was dead wrong on the surge.
6. Voted YES on redeploying US troops out of Iraq by March 2008.
7. Voted NO on redeploying troops out of Iraq by July 2007.
8. Voted YES on allowing illegal aliens to participate in Social Security.
9. Voted NO on declaring English as the official language of the US government.
10. Voted YES on banning drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
11. Voted NO on approving a nuclear waste repository.

Governor Palin
2 cents, Governor Palin is immensely smarter and more qualified than Joe Biden. Heck, even than Obama. Did she make some mistakes, and show some lack of knowledge during the campaign? Sure. The Obama campaign keep Biden on a really short leash, and by the end of the campaign, had pretty much hidden him from view. The Left knows that Palin is formidable, and they threw everything they could at her. If the Left thought she was as stupid as they wanted everyone to believe, they wouldn't have cared whether she was on the ticket or not, they would not only not have cared, they would have loved having her there, and wouldn't have tried to destroy her. The fact that the were unable to destroy her, except in the minds of a few is what will make her a player in the future. And Shelly, Biden has been making "gaffes" for years. We have pretty much seen the last of Biden.

FOOLS IGNORING THE TRUTH
Obama REFUSED TO GIVE THE COURTS A VALID, VAULTED BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND HAS HIS 3 TEAMS OF LAWYERS FIGHTING DAY AND NIGH TO PREVENT AMERICA FROM SEEING THE ONE THAT SAYS;
HE WAS BORN IN KENYA!

That's alright, one day it's gonna come back and bite you in the asss, just before it takes your stupid heads off. Keep ignoring, that's exactly what the commies want. Yep, you all made it soooooooooo very easy for them. They have destroyed America from within, ust a Stallin said they COULD DO. Proud of your ignorant selves, are ya?

Well darn! I'd go one step further and state that Palin is/was the most qualified candidate for any office in the history the world, also! Not only that, she is also one of the smartest people I have ever seen, also, and that as well.

you have to pardon 2cents,Palin terrifies her. She knows that Romney has no chance if she is in the next presidential primary, and romney being the nominee is all she cares about. She attacks all whom she percieves as a threat to Mitty.

Media-Driven Gaffes?
I suppose it was "media driven" when Biden told Couric that FDR would have responded to the stock market crash by going on TV and talking to the people ... when FDR was not president then and people didn't own TVs.

Had Palin said the same clueless thing ...

THE Anti-Christ?
Not likely, Laura. THE Anti-Christ most likely will be from Macedonia.

http://futurehistory.yadayahweh.com/

I say "most likely" because while I find the information in the link above fascinating (the clearest explication of Biblical prophecy I've read so far), only God knows what IS but has not yet been revealed to our wondering eyes.

Besides, fascinating as eschatology is, it remains a distraction from our real reason for existence as individuals, which is to learn who we are supposed to be as Children of God, and to learn what we are supposed to do at any given moment.

If what will be IS, and you (along with everyone else) are exactly who you are supposed to be, doing what you are supposed to do at every instant of every day, then perhaps you (and everyone else) should pay more attention to the tasks presented to you right now and less attention to the tasks presented to everyone else.

The only choice you (or anyone else) have is whether to accept reality and your place in it, or reject reality and your place in it. It isn't a one time choice either, but one you make with every breath and every thought.

So take it easy. As the old saying goes, let go and let God.
