I didn't see that at all. Romney was
talking about fighting global jihad, he never once mentioned the UN. Everyone on the panel understands the radical Islamist threat, McCain "apparently" needs us to understand that he knows more than anybody including General Petraeus. He doesn't have anything else to stand on.

Great Debate
I was leaning towards Romney till he replied to the Iran scenario......he failed miserably stating things like getting the UN behind us before we act. What a joke does he not understand how useless they sre and how they would oppose any action by the US unless of course we starting making private payments to key UN personell. Its a shame because I thought John Mcain was clearly the winner last night but according to the MSM he is all but done. I have not thought of Mcain as a seriuos canidate till I got the clear impression last night that he understands the Islamic threat and is willing to see it thru to the end. That matters most to me and I hope he is the nominee, I will have a hard time forgiving his immigration stance but to me immigration is something we can fix eventually. The Islamic threat will be the end of this great country if we do not have a leader that understands how intent they are to kill us all.

The debate was amazing
I'm suprised that people didn't like last night's debate. For a few brief moments, the prescreened answers and the practiced one-liners were strewn aside, and a legitimate debate broke out. Whether you side with Paul (as I do :) ) or Huckabee, or for that matter are still unsure, their exchange is definitely worth watching in its entirety.

Cliff Notes?
Unfortunately, I did not watch or hear the debate itself. I have a difficult time believing that some of the candidates did not speak, but this supposed summary ignored Gov Romney, who, as a member of the so-called "first tier", must have said something.

Anyone relying on Cliff Notes to take a mid-term exam has no excuse for his failing grade. Anyone here who would rely on this extremely limited version of the debate would be in the same state, but there is an added dimension: we' may all be stuck with his vote in the primaries, and potentially in the general election, too.

No pretended good resulting from government-run, tax-funded schools balances the horrific costs they impose on teachers, taxpayers, and students and their families.
