You Guys Are Killin' Me, Part 87,458
Posted by: Mary Katharine Ham at 11:33 AM

Trent Lott elected Senate Minority Whip.

Welcome to "Survivor: The Isle of Crappy Republican Leadership."

This season: voting off everyone who could have a shot at turning the flailing party around! Next episode? Boehner and Blunt earn immunity! Season finale? George Bush and Karl Rove beat out DeLay, Boehner, Blunt, Lott, and Frist by forming a smart alliance with Martinez.

Get on the phones for Pence and Shadegg. We need them.

202-225-3121. Capitol switchboard, baby!
