Thanks to the efforts of Sandy Rios' producer Guy Benson, I'll be playing some Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn audio from 2007.
Don't miss it.
UPDATE: Four days ago, the Washington Post wrote this about Ayers/Dohrn:
Nearly 30 years after surrendering to police, Ayers and Dohrn, both in their 60s, are tenured university professors whose work on school reform and juvenile justice have won them bipartisan respect....
In Chicago, however, Ayers is considered so mainstream that Daley issued a statement on Thursday praising him as a "distinguished professor of education" and a "valued member of the Chicago community."
Did the Washington Post do anything to investigate what Dohrn and Ayers were saying even last year?
Here's one clip of Ayers last year describing America in 2007:
Empire resurrected, and unapologetic, war without end. An undefined enemy that is supposed to be a rallying point for a new kind of energized jingoistic patriotism. Unprecedent and unapologetic military expansion. White supremcy changing its form, but essentially in tact. Attacks on women and girls --violent attacks. Growing surveillance in every sphere of our lives. On and on and on. The taregting of gay and lesbian people as a kind of a scapegoating gesture, to keep our minds off of what is really happening.
This is the Post's view of "mainstream?" Did the reporter just call Obama supporters and not do any research at all?

but, damn, with Joe Torre there, I'm hoping for a Hollyweird assignment during this season. We live in Central Florida now and got in a couple of games at Dodgertown before the main team went to the Far east for some games. It breaks our hearts to see them leave Vero. It is HEAVEN. But, at least the Sleazoid McCourt didn't sell it for Condos, as I'd presumed. The Orioles are leasing it for 5-years for Spring Training.
Ya know the un-safest ground in L.A. don'tcha? The yardage between(Now, Whale-Sized)Tommy LaSorda and a mic or camera. |
|
Now...Putin IS the Anti-Christ! Wait and see! If he only knew baseball? |
|

For Hugh and I Go..... Cleveland Indians! |

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, McCourt unveiled an entire video presentation on the big screen in left field. Vinnie was also going gaga over it on the radio. It does look fabulous, but parking is already $15, crackerjacks are $4.50 and I could go on and on. I'm sure all these changes will raise prices to an unhealthy level (shades of the Staples Center and the Lakers). I still remember my first Dodger Stadium game as a teenager in the late sixties. Took my two little brothers. My ticket was $1.50 and they got in for 75 cents each. Sat in left field. After watching Andruw Jones last night I want my money back. I had more fun watching my 11 year old pitch her softball game, Eight strikeouts, 3 hits, and the victory! But, I'll always bleed Dodger Blue.
By the way, they did play their last game in Vero this spring. On to Tempe, I believe. |
|
to wander in here this morning on a random 'catch up and bandit hunt' and find the Cabal Princess fraternizing with the accursed Enemies! Shheeesh! :-)
Rae...Welcome. Glad you are here. An evening game at Dodger Stadium, aka-my church, gave me 'pulls' for home. My wife, Baseball Nutcase Extraordinaire, was reading on the Dodger website last night about the big changes that wheeler-dealer McCourt has planned for our Cathedral. He's also moving them out of Vero Beach(Spring Training home since 1947)to Arizona for Springs. |
|
Thanks for the welcoming words. I'll be careful. I promise. By the way, my husband gave me that nickname. It's a long story. I assure you I'll never be vitriolic.
Dudley, it's good to know I'm not alone.
Mary Stella, thanks for your kind words about my daughter. She's doing great so far! Her dad and I got to take her to the Dodger game tonight and we had a lot of fun even though we lost. |
|
Sorry, Dudley, No, not from Saudi! Neo, told me not to talk to you! remember? Ops! |
|
Marystella, Saudi Arabia, a member of the royal family. Eben Saud was the king.. |
|

|
Ah, i know. I've always been a contentious jerk. It is a moral failing. Someone said that the need to be right is the cause of all suffering. While that seems a little "new agey" to me, there is at least a little bit of truth to it.
Thanks for your words. You should know we all like you: left, right, and center. |
|
We used to have another poster here by the name of rae who was as vitriolic a lefty as you'd care to encounter. It is both refreshing and surprising reading posts such as yours coming from that particular moniker... Welcome to Townhall, and watch your back...! :-) |
|
Interesting stuff. Some of us are the same age here. You and me, Rae. I was a Bobby guy, too. I'm a Hillary voter, but Barack doesn't have to disavow anything about the Weathermen: he was a little kid then; plus, they had little support even back then, being considered wacko and dangerous. I say this as a lefty who has evolved as a lefty: worked in the labor movement over 20 years, did good things, too!
MaryStella, I'm sure you're a fine person. In what part of the world did you go to high school, if I may be so bold? |
|
Thank you. Just a note, When JFK, was President, I was in highschool (not in this country), I had JFK's large photo in my room! When he was shot, I too cried for days, I really mourned for his whole family. I was very sad when his brother was shot(I loved Bobby too!). The worst was when we lost John junior, I wish he had lived, I still get teary eyed when I think of him, he was a very nice person.
Honestly, P.L., when you argue, there comes a point just let go. Make your point, best way like a lawyer, and let it be. |
|
LOL!!! I'm female. Regarding reinstating the draft, I don't think we need it as a PROFESSIONAL VOLUNTEER military is much more effective. However, I would hope that all Americans would volunteer if our country needed them, including females. I have 3 daughters and would be scared to death if they volunteered to serve but very proud too.
Regarding my voting record, I've matured and evolved since my college days. Observed a few demonstrations on the college campus during 1968, even knew a student who set fire to the administration building, but I never joined any SDS or similar movements. I was much too busy working a full time job to support myself and going to school full time. In days before the 1968 CA primary I saw and heard Humphrey, McCarthy, Kennedy and even Nixon on campus. My first vote was cast for RFK in the CA primary, the day he was assassinated. I remember bursting into tears as I drove home from work that night listening to radio reports in my car.
I hope you've enjoyed my so called voting record. Sometimes living in the belly of the beast allows you to see things more clearly when you evolve. I voted Democratic until I was in my forties when I finally realized I did not live a silly liberal lifestyle but rather a fairly conservative one. Liberals have seemingly good intentions and very bad results, i.e. our inner cities are almost exclusively run by liberal democratic governments and they are disasters, as are the major school districts. I don't begrudge the young person's passion as they enter the political world, but I don't countenance violence by any side of the political spectrum, be it a McVeigh on the right or a Ayers on the left. This is America and we use the ballot box to determine our government, not the bullet or the bomb. Regarding Obama and Ayers: Ayers most recent comments need to be disavowed by Obama as a human being not just as a presidential candidate. |
|
|
..and I say this as the local rat, you're a pretty nice person. |
|
Thank you for your post. I am sure your daughter will be just fine, will have your wisdom and teaching to follow. God Bless. |
|
Still blustering away, eh? Well, right-wing bluster is the currency of the realm, I suppose. In the real world, though, a bunch of old guys fighting about the 60s in the nursing home is not going to make or break this election.
And as for the democratic process taking place in the Democratic primaries--it is all to the good, baby. Democracy never hurt anyone. We are getting a hardened, sharp, nimble, tough candidate. What do you have? A stale retread, an old coot who will lead the fearlessly lead the battle against the Weather Underground--as if anyone but a bunch of old righties give a hoot. |
|
|
|
back of my pants for you to chap your lips upon.
I never praised "mass murderers." I praised heroic men who rid their nations of communist revolutionairies.
You praised the Weather Underground, FBEAR.
"You-in-the-Bathouse" 15? No, but I do feel vigorous and youthful, especially as I look forward to the next leg of--->
the dimocrat Death March to Denver!!! |
|
I'm 59 so I guess I can remember Bill Ayers, and I went to college with those wonderful examples of sweetness and light, the SDS. They were very bad news then just as they are now. The fact that Ayers is a professor of education for the state of Illinois makes me crazy as I have a daughter who is a freshman in college right now. Every day I pray that her mind won't be indoctrinated and propagandized by these radical leftovers from the 60's, or for that matter, any of the overly liberal college professors whose salaries we pay.
By the way, I wasn't even born when Hitler was exterminating the Jews and other innocent victims. Does that mean if he was still alive I shouldn't have to check him out before I could hang out with him and have him jump start my campaign for President of the United States?
There was a silly slogan in my college days, "Don't trust anyone over 30". Your ageism is showing. Be careful, you might gain some wisdom from your elders who have lived history. Maybe the new slogan should be "Don't trust anyone UNDER 30".
As an aside, I think it was Peter and Gordon who opened for Gerry and the Pacemakers! |
|
Where's that telephone wire for your pants?
I've never been an apologist for the Weather Underground.
You, on the other hand, have praised mass murderers.
I'd say you're the one who's pro-terrorist. |
|
|
|
But will Mohammad come to it to? I agree with Broberta that Obama only 8 and was away in Indonesis when these events occured, READING the KORAN in a Muslim School. |
|
for the Weather Underground. How nice for them.
FBear the whining commie twink should ring us up if he ever discovers that John McCain has Ayres over for dinner, otherwise she should shut her fellow-traveler pie hole.
Since the radical left likes Fidel Castro, and recycling, and thinks we ought to make the USA more like Cuba, perhaps we ought to indulge them, eh?
We could do with Ayres & Dohrn as Fidel Castro would....shoot them. Imprison their families. Waterboard everyone who knows them (babakazama too). Then, recycle them....grind them into dog food.
If it works in Cuba it ought to work here too. Right? Worker's paradise....
Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk
Looks like babakazama got run over by the broom pilot...... |
|
|
|
|
People you know nothing about at all, but they got you to make a comment, dufus. |
|
Ayres? About Dohrn?
They aren't even as smart as Timothy McVeigh, except in attracting idiots like babakazama and the wet-brain hare-lip BJob.... |
|
That Senator Obama, the man of dialog, never held a serious dialog with his “spiritual,” Jeremiah Wright, advisor. It is inconceivable that this man of dialog never knew, doesn’t know, the views of real jack booted, bombs in the hip pocket, terrorist/fascists.
Either he isn’t a man of dialog, or he doesn’t want us to know his true world view. |
|
Just asked...becuase it hasn't been called yet does that mean it's a bad night for Clinton.
What an Obama hack!!
I can't wait to watch his face grimace later tonight.
This is going to be sweet.
Remeber....the early vote will come in from Philadelphia which will have Obama up big.
Stay patience...stay tuned. Clinton will gain pts on Obama every 10 minutes after the first hour. |
|
The cable networks said Ohio was 'too close to call'-she won it by 10.
Now, they are characterizing Pennsylvania as 'competitive'-she must be up even bigger. |
|
Olberman-Matthews actually believe this will be close tonight.
GOD are they out of touch.
|
|
I have read 14% of the turn out was African American. In years past its been as high as 17%.
Evidently the enthusiasm is beginning to cool for Barry, even among his most ardent supporters. |
|
I'm not sure if this was mentioned but I will not that ARG's final poll-conducted Sunday and Monday nights -has Hillary up 56-40. They noted Obama-after the 13 million in ads-was only one point off from where he started IN EARLY MARCH.
Again, if you outspend you opponent 3-1 and have CNN and MSNBC practically drooling over you, how do you explain losing by double digits in a CLOSED DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY? |
|
What if Obama makes even more mistakes before the IND-NC primaries?
What if the REV or the TERRIOST comes out and say more stupid, moronic, hateful things?
What if Obama's decesion not to debate Clinton in NC is seen as another insult to the voters?
It's very interesting to watch.
But will the DEMS catch on? do they have the courage to turn away from Obama at the convention? |
|
Those who decided in the past few days overwhelmingly broke for Hillary.
The Super Delegates have to ask themselves-why does Barry always FADE in these contests at the very end? What about him drives the voters toward Hillary? |
|
Mark Levin said from what he was hearing it would be Hillary by......13!
Howard, your double digit prediction may be about to come true.
I have read on several sites Hillary won 55% of the white male vote. IF thats so, she HAS blown Barry out.
In previous contests, Barry had always won the white boys. I guess after they found out what the Prissy Professor thought about them, they sided to vote for the candidate who at least doesn't have the gall to insult them.
|
|
To point out the truth.
Clinton would be the more difficult challenge for McCain.
Obama would get crushed. Although I'm a big John Mccain supporter and have been from the start....an Obama - McCain general election would be a McCain 40 state win..... |
|
PA Democrats - 79% satisfied if Clinton is nominee.
64% satisfied if Obama is nominee.
Obama's electoral weakness shines through.
Superdelegates....you must save your party and throw your support to Clinton.
|
|
Shows Clinton ahead amoung union households 58 to 42.
HHEEHHHEEEEE!
Tonight Obama's electoral weakness shines through. |
|
wins by at least 11pts.
Book it. Bank it.
Do not doubt it!
Clinton wins big!!!
John McCain smiles tonight!!!
HHEHHHEEEHHHHEEE!!!! |

of the trash representing information, ideas, concepts within our high schools, colleges, universities over the past 40 years.
Bill Ayers, a radical now, teaching "English" in high school.
Ward Churchill, teaching radicalism at CU in Boulder, until last year, when he was ousted for lying on his application to seek gainful employment at CU.
Howard Zinn, teaching revisionist history---writing his history textbook, "Howie's World", the most distributed and read college history book across our country
Examples are myriad, extreme Liberals and Leftists teaching our children, not the standard, "3 R's", but all of those young minds absorbing "finger-pointing", incipient concepts of "jingoistic patriotism" as taught by these pathetic Liberals. And how the U.S. of KKK A. is an "aging Empire".
If my child was being taught in the Chicago school system by Billy Ayers, I'd be paying this person a visit, perhaps not during business hours. |

Early exit polls favor Obama but acutally results tend to favor Hillary. |
|
On the Verge of a Stunner in Pennsylvania?
Hold on to your hats. I've gotten the usual word of the exit poll results from one of my usual reliable sources. He notes that Obama traditionally over-performs in the earliest exit polls, and that he expects the numbers to change as the night wears on - perhaps a reversal.
But right now, the exits are saying Obama 52 percent, Clinton 47 percent.
Take these results with the usual grains of salt and skepticism. I'm told that Obama is carrying blue collar workers two to one, and he's winning Philadelphia in the neighborhood of three to one.
As usual, if you're a Pennsylvanian and haven't voted yet, don't let these or any other numbers discourage you.

I was predicting Hillary won by 7, but maybe not. |
|
I agree that the Senator Coburn comment showed more about BHO than ANY thing else he has let slip out in public. And he said it proudly in front of the masses!!! He has the moral relativism of a pot smoking adolescent who just finished reading the Humanist Manifesto II. Pray for John McCain. |

And now we can see Barak share that love right back at them. |
